WWE 12 questions from a complete newb

OK guys, bear with me ... I haven't played a wrestling game on a new-gen machine (last games I played would have been on N64) and haven't followed wrestling for about 12 years.

I'm much more of an MMA fan these days but I must admit I'm intrigued by this game's customization and the Universe Mode (hoping dearly that something similar to this is in UFC 3).

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out if this would be a game worth buying for me, not a huge wrestling fan anymore, so I have the following questions. Any help is appreciated.

1) Am I able to recreate ECW in Universe mode and be the booker for them, running high paced fights with lots of bumps? ECW was the last wrestling I ever watched back iin the days it came back on TNN .. Are there any old ECW fighters in this game?

2) Is it possible to create a different wrestling brand (something fictional) and run it up against the WWE? Or are you always stuck working under the WWE banner in this game mode?

3) Are you able to use CAW's in universe mode? How many total CAW's are able to be created in game?

4) When you book fights in Universe mode, do you pick the outcome too, or is it up to you to play out the fight as one of the fighters and see how things end up?

5) How do new fighters enter the game world in Universe mode? I assume this mode advances throughout several years, so how does the game world populate with new fighters?

6) Is there any fighter share type system where users can download fighters that other users have created?

7) In Universe mode, is there any sort of 'rating' system that each fight/card gets... As in, is there any penalty for putting on dumb matches that don't make sense, and is there any subsequent way to know how fans are enjoying the cards you are putting on and the things going on in the game world?

I'll answer what I can based on things I've read...

1) Yes, you can recreate ECW through the show/arena creater. There aren't many (if any) old school ECW guys (Dreamer, Dudleys, RVD, Sabu, Taz, Raven, etc. all aren't in the game).

2) You are always under the WWE banner in a manner of speaking. You can change the current shows (change Raw and/or Smackdown to WCW, FCW, ECW, Impact, etc.). However, you get one show on Monday with its own titles, one on Thursday (Superstars by default) with less matches and no ranked titles, and a show on Friday with its own titles. So you can't have "Monday Night Wars" going head to head since you're under one umbrella. For the Monday and Thursday shows you can choose major, minor, tag, and Diva titles, and you get to decide how much crossover there is between shows, meaning you can run them separately. PPVs cannot be edited, will contain matches from all shows, and be WWE PPVs.

3) Yes. 50.

4) You can play or Sim matches. Either way, you cannot book the outcome unless you win.

5) They don't. Wrestlers don't age. They progress and regress only based on their winning/losing streaks. New wrestlers can only enter if you create them and throw them in your universe.

6) Yes.

7) No.

Pretty sure you can make Superstars its own show with its own belts now.

you can change them all...you could literally go WCW, ECW, and FCW.

I don't think you'll really get the high paced fights with lots of bumps. The AI isn't very co-operative.

Rey is the only current guy that was ever in ECW,Stone Cold and Eddie Guerrero under legends but as you said on TNN I'm sure all 3 were before you watched.

Like the OP, i haven't played(or even watched) anything WWF related in like 13 years, but am planning on getting this due to the Rocks inclusion(and because the game seems to be getting good reviews), my question is can i use the Rock in any of the career or story modes within the game?

You can use him in Universe and create-a-story but the actual story mode is limited to HHH,Sheamus and a created wrestler.
