WWE 12 Question & Answer

For 3 straight Raws the game has set up 2 remarkable matches that I have edited everytime. Anyone know if this will continue to happen until I finally go through with them or what?

Same for me, they market the game as YOUR universe yet the AI does its own thing and its making it tedious to try and manipulate stories/fueds.

If you edit the universe before u start it for the first time, the game wants to make a feud with guys you removed as allies. Not to mention that they like to randomly throw wreslters in your universe even tho he's not on a roster...

Why Throw SCSA in my universe just to unlock him? You guys couldnt have us unlock guys in another way?

Forcing the same match ups on me week after week isnt adjusting to how I play the game...

Mine adjusted just fine. Had Lawler beat Del Rio for the title and next week he is facing ADR in a tag team match. What I don't like is how Del Rio dropped in the WWE title rankings, only to become #1 contender for the US title. Nothing has happened there yet, but falling out of the major title picture shouldn't instantly make you top of the minor division.

What about your matches/feuds that doesnt involve a title?

In my game, the AI is forcing feuds on me. One example is when I broke up Kozlov (Moved him to legend) and Santino at the start of my Universe. I then played a default match that involved Santino and R Truth. During the entrance R truth made his way to the ring which then triggered a cut scene where you see Truth makes a second entrance (note he came to the ring already) but this time he comes out then goes to the back and bring Kolzov out.

Now the match is Kolzov (me) vs Santino. I beat Santino then Big Show (Smackdown roster) comes out and beats me up.

Next week I have a remarkable match that involves Big Show vs Kolzov..

I've overwrited the match every Raw from January to now which is march...

The scenerio is def cool but you market the game as YOUR universe and adjust to how you are playing it.

If they have said it was a better version of Know Your Role's Story Mode (which its proving to be after two years) then I wouldnt be so confused and frusterated trying to manipulate things.

Like last year, the mode is better off playing on default and letting the universe AI shape it up.

Which isnt really a bad thing. Ever since playing KYR I wanted to have more than 3 matches on a card and have the ability to edit matches to make them better and make sense Sadly the mode wasnt in the next installment..

But we have it now and Im happy.

I do most of my "universe" stuff in Create a Story anyways.


Edit- forgot to mention that I cleares both Show's and Kolzov allies/rivals to try and fix the problem but nothing happen..

I think a lot of things are hard-coded into Universe Mode, no matter what you do. It was certainly like that last year.

So yeah, I'm just going to set my roster up the way I want and let the chips fall where they may.

Which console has the deeper selection for CAW's (when we can download them)?

I think a lot of things are hard-coded into Universe Mode, no matter what you do. It was certainly like that last year.

So yeah, I'm just going to set my roster up the way I want and let the chips fall where they may.

Its def hardcoded like last year.

Stone Cold and Brock will always make their debut (thats how you unlock them)

I'm OK with that, since I experience it last year and know ahead of time that things like that will happen in 12.

Eventually, Universe does evolve into its own world and that's where the fun begins.

Guys what is the workaround for title belts that you dont want to show up in your Universe?

I have looked in loads of threads and on page 2 of this thread there is something about not getting legends to show up but i am not sure how to do the belts workaround.

My universe finally adjusted itself back around. I finally started seeing WWE championship matches at TLC and Royal Rumble. Sure took a really long time though.

Every wrestler that I put on another brand (Divas, Attitude, Legends, Free Agent) has yet to appear on a show unless I made them appear. I had Lawler win the WWE title and he has no issues interacting on Raw, but no one else got brought over. Michaels is a Legend and Triple H is a Raw superstar, and they won the tag titles no problem with no one else getting involved. I have had one instance where something seemed out of place: Henry showed up on Raw and attacked Cena with the belt. Now, if Cena shows up on SD here in a bit in Henry's match then it's a storyline. Other than that, I have not seen any problems in terms of rosters that other people have. Hell, I moved Kozlov to FA, he's Santino's partner, and they haven't showed up in a match aside in the one I scheduled them in one week.

As for non-title feuds. Ziggler, Santino, and Ryder have something going just fine. Barrett and Undertaker have faced off lately. Tatsu, McGillicutty, and Kidd have something going on Superstars. Working just fine for me.

Were all the feuds you have mention user influenced or was it generated by the universe?

Ive been placing 2 guys against each other for a couple weeks str8 now have yet to see them feud with a storyline. They are not even rivals yet.

Universe generated. I started getting involved in the Ryder/Santino/Ziggler feud after a couple weeks though. Interference didn't quite do what I wanted as Ryder turned heel haha.
