Hey Jrider...

I just downloaded a 249mb update. When I go to "title settings", I have the option to vacate titles. Is that new or do you have to do that "work around" in Universe mode only?

Not sure what the update is for, but the option to vacate titles outside of universe has always been there. I wish the changes you made outside of universe carried over, but they don't.

EDIT: I haven't been prompted to download any update. Are you sure it's for WWE 12?

Sure is. I believe I went to Caws.ws or THQ.com and in their forums, someone else mentioned it.

And I tried the FAN AXXESS again and I still can't edit any superstar attributes. Any idea how this is supposed to work?? I downloaded it, it said it installed, but can't do anything.

Update: Wow..first PSN goes down, then up, now I can't even access the online Store because it just said the server was down. Definitely NOT a good start to this game.

Weird.I just fired up the game and no update. Oh well...I don't know how fan axxess is supposed to work, but attributes can be editted only in Universe mode. Did you look there? Also is the edit attributes unlock included with axxess? I just purchased mine separately.

I would assume it's included with Fan Axxess because the prompt I receive is telling me I need Fan Axxess to edit attributes...

Did you back out to the main menu and reload the game after downloading axxess? I had to do that before the dlc would show up in my game. Are the other parts of the dlc showing up in your game like HBK and the other characters?

Ok...figured it out. The prompt says you have to have FAN AXXESS. What it doesn't tell you, is that the attrib customizer and all the other items with it, are NOT included in that download. After you download Axxess, you THEN have to download each item (cust attrib, unlockables, etc..etc)

Then you can edit. And to my surprise, the attributes are in increments of (1) instead of (5) like I thought I read in a review. Maybe it was changed last minute, either way, that's good news. Creates more separation between wrestlers.

whenever i try to assign the wwe & world tag titles to superstars on dead brand it says they have to be on raw or smackdown. does anybody know what im doing wrong?

I reserved it at Gamestop, got my copy today. It has a sticker on the front saying that the Rock is included as a playable character. I see no code on my receipt or in the game case to unlock him. I have purchased all the unlockable stuff available right now and still no Rock. What gives?

I have restarted the game just to see if it needed that to unlock everything. It did, but still no Rock. VERY FRUSTRATED. This is the only reason I preordered the game.

you should have a card on the inside with the rock on it. look on the back and toward the bottom. there should be a 25 character code. put it in

Nope, no card. There is the manual and a card for $10 off of a $100 purchase on wweshop.com.

Go exchange it because I've read on the IGN board that some people did not get thier online axxess code or they have it but the # is not printed on it. Obviously quality control is not THQ's strong point as it looks like a few games have been shipped missing some stuff.

The Rock technically wasn't a preorder bonus, that was just something Gamestop was slinging to get you to buy from their store, when in fact, the Rock is supposed to come with every first run copy of the game. If you purchased the game today and that label telling you that the Rock is included on the case but didn't get a card inside the case then unfortunately you might be SOL. THQ just forgot to add a code for him. You might try calling their customer service, maybe you'll have some help that way. But no card, no Rock.

So how does universe actually work? Are there a bunch of story lines that randomly play out and you can hop into matches and play through them?

Can anyone help with breaking out of a submission? Do I hold L1 while mashing a face button? I'm clueless.
