Like I said, outside of the selling of moves I don't have a problem with the in-game engine. Kelly Kelly shouldn't be getting right back up after a glam-slam on the concrete floor, that's for sure. Lesson learned, don't watch divas matches in Universe. They won't sell a thing.

But CC being down, Today's Remarkable Matches sticking wrestlers who you don't want to see in your universe into matches, and even interference not working properly in Universe mode does bug me quite a bit. Those last two points make me feel like I don't have as much control over the universe as I would like, ya know?

They definitely went the way of Arcade this year with a touch of sim. However, a lot of those issues can be fixed through the attributes. You have to really UNDERRATE the wrestlers. Lower the recovery, strike and grapple and durability for the "lower end" wrestlers. Increase those stats for the "main eventers". You will see a difference.

The servers being down doesn't ruin the game, but it causes a huge inconvenience when you rely on created wrestlers, movesets, arenas, etc..etc...

For you retro guys who want old school guys and are getting pissed you can't get them. I've said this before but go on after 1 AM EST if at all possible. You will get in after a few tries(unless it's really gotten worse the last 2 days) and should be able to DL 10-20 wrestlers. It might take a while and the search function is pretty buggy but it shouldn't take more than an hour to get some good old school CAWS. I've got 22 so far and that was over 2 nights of late night searching and I'm happy for now. The others I can wait for and just introduce them as new wrestlers in my universe so there is some upside to this if you like to play that way. It's the best you can do right now.

Online play works just fine. It's community creations, which even then, I've been able to get on to quite often. Sure, I get kicked out at times, but I'm not having anywhere near the problems some people are saying they have.

Maybe for you, but there are thousands of people who havent been able to sign online for a week to do ANYTHING

loaded up again, first time in 2 days or so. i see the update from Cory, first attempt, failed. second attempt it let me load into the CC..

so lets see how long this lasts lol..

edit - and i cant get in the CC.. ugh!!

I found late last nite the best connection yet. Once I got on I could scroll 10+ pages and do searches before I got kicked out. Usually it's scroll 3 pages and gonzo, press search button and gonzo.

Yes my standards have become incredibly low for this game online.

i was able to fight through dc's and downloaded every wrestler that needed to be downloaded to each show, raw/smackdown etc. debating on trying to get all the divas and other non wrestler talents downloaded as well.

need to edit some of the caws ratings down a bit, then i should be set to start my universe. other question will be to just remove all divas from raw and smackdown..

Keep dreaming. You can still play the game just fine. It would be one thing if online was required to play the game, but it's not.

Word for word from the back of the box. When you're roping people into spending money for features like that promoted heavily by your company, on commericals and on the back of the box, I think what he asked is the least the company can do for 2 full weeks now of a the ****tiest server in the history of the Xbox 360 and PS3 generation.

It's kind of a "false positive" here. The only feature not working is "Share and download creations online"

The rest you can do yourself. On the OTHER side, it is frustrating because it IS a part of the game they sold us on. Sharing creations. I don't play online, just the creations part, so I'm not sure if you can even go online to wrestle other players.

So, time will tell as to what THQ does to rectify this inexcusable issue. As I said before, THQ has dug themselves a hole, and fixed servers or not, they aren't coming out of it.

True to a point. Playing matches is still hit or miss because you still have to get to the Newsfeed/Online menu to play online and I still get the Server error message once I click the Xbox Live tab. It's not as frequent as it was, but it's still there.

Do you work for THQ or something? Almost every comment you post seems to defend the game or developers in one sublime way or another. You sound like another guy from the golf threads who is always defending EA no matter how incompentent they are because he's a moderator on the EA site.

No need to get personal about it, Seymour. Everyone who wants to use CC is frustrated with the issue and lack of resolution.

Last night was the first time I was able to access the server long enough to get anything. I was able to grab Jericho, The Usos, Chris Hero, Epico, and Primo. Not a bad start, but now I want more! I'm taking tomorrow off, so perhaps daylight hours will be better. All of my previous attempts were during what I assume are peak traffic hours (8pm-12am ET).

If I do, my bank account does not agree. Maybe I should contact them.

I was able to get another 10-20 downloaded last night, but haven't checked them out to see if they are any good.
