Guys are you better off letting the cpu run your Universe? What i mean is by myself changing up matches does the kill potential storylines that may be progressing?

Oh and Jim Ross just wont **** off lol, He is always appearing in a remarkable match against Triple H. That is my only gripe because even after being on a dead roster (legends) he still comes up. Where is John Laurinitis when you need him to fire JR.

I've been letting it run by itself for the most part. I do schedule Tag Team matches (since like the actual WWE, it neglects that division). Just let all the remarkable matches happen or else it will keep showing up.

I let a match between Lawler and JR vs goldudst and triple H run and now he is popping up to fight triple h.

Ross never shows up on mine. Lawler does but booking him to win the WWE title, I would expect him to be involved now. I think that is the problem. Too many people just up and started universe and didn't really set it up properly first. Now that those guys got in storylines, they aren't just going to disappear. And Triple H vs. Jim Ross is an oldie but a goodie.

My house rule is that I don't change any Raw or Smackdown cards (unless a random legend pops up) but I can schedule my own PPVs. Has worked so far on my way to Wrestlemania.

I just had an awesome RAW

Started off with a (me) Rey Mysterio getting the win over Jack Swagger with the 619. Next match was Morrison vs R-truth and i decided to interfere at the start of the match with the Miz. Ref gets knocked out so i hit Morrison with a few moves then nailed him with the Skull Crushing Finale. Woke up the ref for the 1-2-3.

Next match was Mason Ryan (me) vs Alex Riley, Ryan picked up the win in a tight match.

Main Event - 6 Man Elimination Tag

Alberto Del Rio ---- Zack Ryder (me)
The Miz vs ----John Cena
Dolph Ziggler ---- CM Punk

Back and forth match with me hitting the Ruff Rider on Ziggler but Del Rio came in and broke up the pin attempt then Ziggler hit the Zig Zag on Cena but he kicked out on 2.

Dolph tagged the Miz who got bet down by Cena, then Cena had his comeback moment and although i hate it in real life man it was awesome to see. He then hits the Miz with the AA when he goes to pin i try to run in the stop the Miz or Del Rio and Punk is in too but a scene cuts in and Punk nails me leaving Cena to get hit with a few moves and lose so its me Ryder vs Miz, Ziggler and Del Rio.

Ziggler hits me with his finishing move and its goodnight Vienna.

I have Ross, Lawler, and Cole in the FAs. All the Divas on NXT, and NEVER see any of the Divas or the announcers booked for matches. I did this before starting my first Raw show though, not sure if that matters.

I let the cpu run everything, but I play every match. Before each match I close my eyes, hold down the d-pad to randomly select who I'll be in that match. I lose some and win some, see interferences (although they normally suck cuz they never enter the ring). Wish when someone interferes in a user match, they'd allow us to decide if we wanted to change to control the interferer. Big Show cost me a win however with Mason Ryan against Zeke cuz the ref wouldn't count during a pin when I had him beat so it works sometimes.

During PPVs, I will manually book matches if I don't see a title match I want to see. For example, Rhodes has yet to defend the IC title, so I will make sure he does at WM even if the cpu doesn't book it.

3 weeks to go until WM, and here's the outlook of matches I'm thinking will happen.

WWE title: CM Punk vs Christian (RR winner)

WH title: Edge vs Undertaker

IC title: Rhodes vs Yoshi Tatsu vs Goldust in a ladder match

US title: DZ vs Mason Ryan

Tag titles: Air Boom vs Slater & Gabriel vs ? (I'd like to add another team but not sure if I can).

Made the mistake of thinking you could restart your universe as I just simmed all the way to WM(after the initial WM) just to fool around.

Oh well good spot to start a new anyways, once I can get the servers to cooperate going to make a massive overhaul to the rosters.

At Extreme Rules I pulled a Dolph (double duty) with Dolph, and won back my U.S. Title from Kofi and defended my (Attitude Era) WWE title against The Rock.

I also defended my (classic) IC title with Cody against Gabriel. My brother-in-law won his first title, taking the World Heavyweight Championship from Orton with Sheamus.

Extreme Rules matches are WAY too easy, as the computer rarely uses weapons.

I had a 3-on-1 handicap match. Dolph (me), Swagger (tag partner), and Lesnar vs. Kofi. Lesnar turned on me in the middle of the match. We still won, and Swagger turned on me after. Dammit!!

CM Punk and Big Show have been on a role for that WWE title. First big show defeated Punk (me) and took it. Then he defended it against punk and retained. Then I faced show in a hell in a cell and won it back. Then the last title defense was an Iron man match where show was just giving me the worst beaten i've gotten in the game. down 1-3 with less than a minute to go I was able to pin show twice with 3 secs left which ended in a draw and retained the title with Punk.

Quick question..are there enough storylines to keep universe fresh for a while? Keep in mind that I haven't played last years game either so this is going to be my first universe experience.

Universe it's what you make of it. The story lines are pretty simple (don't expect RTWM Type of storylines) However there are cool little cutscene, draft matches, and you can do w/e you want defend any title any time create your brand etc etc. If you decided to get fancy with it and put your imagination into it, you'll love it

Maybe if you played 24/7 and wound up going through years of universe.
