Watched a CPU vs. CPU match last night between E&C and Awesome Truth for the tag titles at Mania.

It was a TLC match.

And the AI was terrible. Basically 2 of them fought each other while the other two kept climbing the ladder to try to get the titles over and over again. And the second the ladder would get knocked over, the person closest to it would grab it and reset it in the middle of the ring.

No tables or chairs were even utilized.

Definitely a low point in my AI match watching experience so far.

Maybe if you played 24/7 and wound up going through years of universe.

Music to my ears!! Happy to see everyone enjoying this game. I used to love wrestling till it started geting so soft. I always get sad when something reminds me of the old wwf/wcw/attitude era and ill end up watching old matches and promos for days after. I always just wish I could go back to those days and REALLY pay attention to what was one of the few things in life that made me really happy.

Now with this game and all of the customization in it I will be able to sortof relive those days and I cant be any happier.

Sorry for the rant I just had to get it off my chest, as I cant even talk to my roommate about it becuase he didnt watch wrestling when he was little and boy did he miss out haha.

Just had Zach Ryder cash in his money in the bank contract for the World Heavyweight Championship against Dolph Ziggler.

WOO WOO WOO, YOU KNOW IT!

So at Wrestlemania its Ryder vs Ziggler vs CM Punk. I watched the match and the ending was quite awesome. Punk hit the GTS on Ryder, then immediately got another finisher and locked up Ziggler in the anaconda vise for the win...heck of a match.

I assigned all titles to resemble the real life counterparts, and simulated to the Royal Rumble (to get the storylines going), and I just finished the Royal Rumble PPV..

Daniel Bryan (user) def. Cody Rhodes to become the new Intercontinental Champion (good match, well drawn out. match was in and out of the ring constantly. turning point of match was bryan hit his signature, got his finisher reversed by cody, then reversed cody's finisher right after, and locked in the labell lock.)

Dolph Ziggler (user) def. Kofi Kingston to retain the United States Championship (this one was less dramatic. Ziggler got hot out of the gates and never really looked back, yet it took 2 ZigZags to take out the Master of Boom.)

Eve def. Kelly Kelly to become new Divas champion (skipped, didn't care.)

CM Punk (user) def. Triple H to retain the WWE Championship (LOOOONG match here, went back and forth the whole time. Cena came down at one point, just for Trips to give him the Pedigree [was so so so awesome]. turning point was when HHH took out the ref (never seen the CPU do that before), and grab a chair, just for CM Punk to hit the Vandaminator, followed up by a GTS to win)

Mark Henry def. HBK (user) to retain the World Heavyweight Championship (HBK was the aggressor in the beginning, hitting multiple springboard and chain grapple moves. Henry kicked out of THREE Sweet Chin Music's to hit a WSS and a bearhug to finish off the Heart Break Kid.)

The Royal Rumble Match (Playing as Dolph Ziggler, I enter as number 16, right when Kane was the only man in the ring [eliminated 7 people straight]. I keep him busy and the ring slowly begins to fill up. I get eliminated late by Big Show, enter back in as Orton [house rule to enter in as next number entering the match]. I get eliminated as the top 4 becomes Kane, Del Rio, DiBiase and Antonio Cesaro. Kane takes out Del Rio and DiBiase, as Cesaro hits the Big Red Machine with a Finisher Elimination, and win the Rumble in his debut in the WWE.

Last Smackdown before the Rumble Sheamus beat Barrett (me) and Taker (me) beats Christian but at the end of the match Mark Henry comes out and nails Taker with the Heavyweight Title.

Henry has been in a feud with Big Show who have been up against each other the past 3 weeks with Henry winning two to Show's one match. Cody Rhodes has been getting involved in this feud, Two weeks ago he showed up in the front row with a ticket and at the end attacked both Show and Henry, then in last week he attacked Show after the match was done and Henry went in and stopped him.

This weeks Smackdown main event is Big Show vs Mark Henry vs Cody Rhodes. Before the match starts a cutscene comes in with the announcement that the Ring annoucer has just been informed its now a falls count anywhere match. During the match a cutscene comes in and Show and Henry decide to team up against Cody (me).

Both Show and Cody hit their finshers on Henry but he hung in there and eventually made Cody tap with a bear hug. Cutscene at the end has what looks like the end of the Show-Henry feud as they shake hands.

Possibly Cody-Henry at the Rumble or Taker-Henry

I want to quickly respond to "dead brand" wrestlers showing up in Universe. It has yet to happen to me, and this is what I did.

1. Buy the "unlock everything" for a dollar before beginning Universe so wrestlers I do not want showing up don't get unlocked via cutscenes and thrown into storylines.

2. Put all wrestlers (including all the Divas) I don't want showing up in WCW (an inactive brand).

3. Remove all alliances and rivalries from "dead brand" wrestlers.

4. Set all the champions, active belts, alliances and rivalries for my active brands (default Raw and SD! for me).

5. Create all the tag teams I want in my Universe.

6. Put all inactive singles belts an a "dead brand" wrestler (Eddie Guerrero for me)

7. I put LOD on Raw, gave them the inactive tag belts, moved them to WCW, then removed their alliance which disbanded the team (though this should work with any two wrestlers if you make them a team).

8. Don't use CAWs as inactive belt holders because they will show up on TV.

9. Know that the rumble will draw from all brands, so edit out any guys you don't want appearing in the actual match.

Do all this before playing a single match and you should be good.

Miz and Mcgillicuty formed an alliance in my universe. They are fueding with both Big Show and Otunga.

Miz is the current WWE champ.

Undertaker is fueding with Brock Lesnar. Taker eliminated Brock in the Rumble to go to WrestleMania.

Randy and Cody is going at it. Henry is in the mix because Orton took Mark's gold in the last PPV.

The Rock's heel persona is really coming together nicely. He's been in a feud with Austin for a couple months now, and recently it's gotten heated as hell.

Week 1: Rock attacks Austin with a lead pipe after Austin beats CM Punk.
Week 2: Rock attacks Austin from behind before the start of their match. Then he beats him up with a chair after the match.
Week 3: Rock obliterates Austin with brass knuckles before the start of the match. After the match, he pins Austin's head against the ring post and then kicks it as hard as he can.
Week 4: Rock beats Austin in a brutal match for the WCW Championship at Extreme Rules.
Week 5: Austin beats the hell out of Rock before Rock was set to take on Kozlov with the WCW Championship on the line. Rock gets intentionally DQ'd to bail himself out (not a cutscene, I did that).
Week 6: Rock makes Austin tap via Sharpshooter after accidentally taking out the ref and hitting Austin with a chair (again, not a cutscene, I did it).

I actually just did this, even though I started awhile ago. Hoping it still works so I don't see them. I at least got them out of the Tag Rankings which was the main thing. Mr. McMahon and Chavo have been the only non tag-team wrestler to show up on my shows that I didn't want. Though I don't really mind Chavo since he did come back and help build the tag division with a random alliance that I don't mind (R-Truth & Chavo). McMahon has since disappeared now that his feud with my cousin's CAW is over.

I now have 10 Tag-Teams: Kane & Big Show, Air Boom, DX, Otunga & McGuillicutty, Cena & Ryder, Ziggler & Swagger, CM Punk & Mason Ryan, Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd, and R-Truth & Chavo. If something sensible comes up, I am going to try to form one. I want my cousin to form one with Yoshi Tatsu since they have the same rivals (Kidd & Gabriel), but he keeps saying no even though he enjoys Tatsu.

Been working on how i want to have my universe set up. Decided to go with a WWF brand and WCW brand. WWF will have it's show , RAW is War on Mondays, and WCW with it's show Nitro on Fridays. Also decided to make ECW and TNA, but both will remain "dead" for now. I plan on having some invasion style booking later down the road, so each brand will be littered with wrestlers i don't need at the moment. My big thing though is, I need to find a way to bring in AJ Styles, without him being a part of the invasion deal. Too far away, and I really want to get him involved in one of the main brands asap, but wanna have him be a "surprise" not just have him start on a brand. Any Suggestions?

Lol so the remarkable match that my Universe kept scheduling of Otunga and McGillicutty vs HHH and Axe finally happened after I edited it two weeks in a row(cause what a dumb match that is). Point of the match was just to have McGillicutty walk out on Otunga hahaha.

Only through 2 and half weeks so far but my favorite story lines are Booker T vs Kevin Nash for the number contender on Nitro and surprisingly the Diva story line on Raw. Beth has beaten all comers with help from interference from Natalya until this last match K2 won and at the end Natalya came down to check on Beth to see if she was alright.

Also had a fun match with Edge and Cena vs Orton and ???. The ??? turned out to be the Rock. The match was going great till Orton and Rock randomly got DQ'd(no cutscene). Only thing I can think of is that my CPU partner hit the Ref or something while on the arpon.
