Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

It's been a while since I played my Universe, but now I'm on my way to Night of Champions.

On the Raw side of things, R-Truth beat Mason Ryan to win the U.S. Title. Mason Ryan will face R-Truth at NOC after defeating Brodus Clay, Husky Harris and Epico. Air Boom finished their feud with Uso's and now are feuding with Titus O'Neil and Percy Watson. Alberto Del Rio will defend the WWE Title at NOC against CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and Triple H in Scramble Match. Del Rio also defeated Miz and Cena in a Summer Slam rematch to retain the WWE Title.

Over on SmackDown, Christian is the World Heavyweight Champion and so far he has beaten Sheamus, then Dolph Ziggler who cashed in MITB and failed, and Wade Barrett in their Summer Slam rematch. Christian will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Kane on the next SmackDown and the winner will defend the title against Sheamus, Mark Henry, Big Show and Wade Barrett in a Scramble Match at NOC. Randy Orton is feuding with Cody Rhodes that will lead to Rhodes putting up the IC Title at NOC.

    That's it for now.

      Universe Update

      • Triple H retained his WWE Title Belt at Extreme Rules. Will Stone Cold stay hot on the trail, or will someone new take his place?
      • The Iron Senator is beaten and bruised after retaining his belt. With Ryder still right on his heels, and Daniel Bryan emerging as a contender, how much longer will it stay that way?
      • McCool is the new Divas Champion. Will her one time teammate Kelly Kelly make a push?
      • Kozlov was cleary upset with Santino after he tapped and lost them their tag team belts. Will anything ammount of it?

      Monday Night RAW

Kozlov v Santino: Clearly Kozlov was not happy with Santino. After landing an Iron Curtain, Kozlov continued to beat up on Santino for another 5 minutes before finally pinning him.

      Rating: **

Triple H (c) v Stone Cold: Another great match between the two led to an incredible conclusion. When it looked like Stone Cold had the match in hand after a nasty Stunner, Triple H kicked out at 2. Shortly there after, Triple H put Stone Cold down for a pedigree. 1...2... Kick out! Triple H didn't hesitate, as he put him into his signature spine buster before putting him down with another pedigree. Did you have enough this time Stone Cold? 1..2..3!

Rating: ****, Triple H wins via pinfall.

The Iron Senator (c) v Zack Ryder: This was a terrific match that continues the great feud between the two competitors. Zack Ryder kicked things off pretty early with a Rough Ryder, 1...2... Kick Out! Senator hits Ryder with a signature DDT but fails to convert on his finisher. Angrily, Senator throws Ryder to the Turnbuckle and hit climbs to the top ropes to hit him with another DDT from way up high. 1..2.. Kick Out! At this point Ryder is just running on fumes as Senator takes the match outside the ring where Ryder is thrown into the steel steps. Right as it looks like Ryder is going to be DQed on a 10 count, he re enters the ring. Maybe he shouldn't have however, as Senator hit him with a wicked Shock Drop that put him down for good. I loved matches (playing on Finisher Strength maxed) where there are a couple kickouts after a finisher.

Rating: ****, Senator wins via pinfall

Del Rio v Swagger (#1 Contenders Match): Both of these guys have been climbing back up the latter since their title match way back at Royal Rumble. After becoming allies, I wasn't sure what would come of this match, but it was a good one. One thing I wanted to point out was that I was playing as Swagger, and it was awesome to watch Del Rio attack my arm the entire match. After a Swagger Bomb, Del Rio kicked out at two. I had a 2 second mental lapse of trying to make my way over to the Turnbuckle, and before I could do anything about it, Del Rio had me in the Arm bar. It was nasty, and I knew there was no way out.

Rating: *** 1/2, Del Rio wins via Tapout

Show Summary: Its always awesome to come off of a great PPV and follow it up with a tremendous RAW. The only thing keeping it down was the fact that there was a whole lot of movement as far as feuds go. It seems like HHH and Stone Cold are going to stay at it. I'm not sure how long Ryder can be the #1 contender for the US belt, but he still was this week. The Del Rio v Swagger thing is an interesting twist, considering they were just teammates a couple weeks ago. Also, Mysterio ran in the ring for their match, so we'll see what that means.

      Rating: ***

Anyone knows how to get the Money in the bank winner to use his option? It was an all cpu match and Cena won it.

Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

            First events after Wrestlemania!

            - RAW -

Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk. Unlike real life, both are down on their luck in my Universe. So, it's only fitting I replicate that match from RAW to see who will take it once again to that next level. Has anyone noticed the commentary is a lot juicier after the patch? YES, there's way more mistakes...but at least they are talking! Highlights: CM Punk landed a few springboard elbow drops on my Bryan before scoring the pinfall. I really wish the computer would only win on finishers or close pins, but that's old news already. Winner: Punk. Regardless, this was a pretty good match and a much-needed victory to begin the Best in the World's comeback trail.

Champion vs. Champion - Main Event: Jeff Hardy (TNA World Champ) vs. Kane (WWE World Champ). Only because that's what RAW did this past weekend.. I used the "Custom" thread for Kane and he looks sorta like Bane with long hair . Highlights: After being frustrated by not winning via chokeslam on the 2-count, Kane knocked out the ref then actually got pummeled by Hardy. After the ref woke up the WWE Champ was caught with a sledgehammer to which he based the TNA Champ with. Winner by DQ: Hardy. No cutscenes so far tonight. Meh.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Nash. After the vicious beatdown suffered by The Outsiders last night at Mania, a bruised and beaten Ziggler looks for some retribution from the nWo frontman. Cutscene: William Regal bought a ticket for this match. Oh, British Invasion here we come. Highlights: This match was a hell of a lot better than our "main event." Nash dominated for a good portion, but after Zig was able to slide under the ropes following a chokeslam, he reversed his fortion nailing some impact reversals, before making Nash tapout a SECOND time (the first being in a tag match). Winner: Ziggler. Cutscene: Regal entered the ring following the victory and attacked both Ziggler and Nash! I can definitely see a triangle faction affair brewing up.

Kofi Kingston vs. Miz. Kingston wins by crucifix pinfall. And I received an achievement "Superstar Contender"...whatever that means! Winner: Kingston.

            - Smackdown -

Non-title match: Cody Rhodes (Inc. Champ) vs. Sheamus. Wow! After the "new finisher" a.k.a. Finley's Celtic Cross, I quickly submitted Rhodes with a T-Bone to the back. Perhaps the quickest match I ever had. Winner: Sheamus.

Latino Heat (Rey Mysterio & Chavo Guerrero) vs. Santino Marella & Brodus Clay. No reason for this match except to see my new Latino Heat in action (they are pretty much by Primo & Epico, if that makes any sense)...and I wanted to have a token Brodus Clay entrance. I forgot to adjust the cheer and boo for Clay and he came out to his Funkosaurus entrance and red trunks to some boo's...pretty funny, but I'll fix it. I see this guy going bad someday, don't you? Highlights: This was a fun match! After Brodus argued with the ref from the outside, Mysterio & Chavo performed several rule-breaking double team moves, the best a dropkick to the back of Santino while getting face-driven to the mat. Winners: Latino Heat.

NO DQ/NO COUNTOUT Main Event: Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett. Cutscene: OH ****!!! Raven took a seat ringside!!! Yes, I said RAVEN!!! (Well, with Extreme Rules coming up, that would make sense...) Highlights: An even better, more ruthless match than last night (the real Smackdown), with Orton backsuplexing Barrett on the announce table -- which did nothing to shake a quiet Raven. Barrett, once turning the momentum, placed a chair towards the ring corner, which Orton used a reverse whip lash into the chair and RKO off the bounce! ****ing awesome. Winner: Orton. What the hell does Raven want with Randy!?

            - TNA/Impact -

James Storm vs. Bobby Roode. Obviously, this card is pretty close to emulating what's on television. So, if any cutscenes actually happen, I'll be pretty happy. The fact the Impact Ring is placed in a WWE-style arena makes it look a little more realistic; too bad you can't change city/state/country locations in the game, either. Highlights: Nailed Storm with a sledgehammer on the outside. That's really it until he submitted to the crossface. Winner: Roode.

Buckingham Rules (Tornado, Non-title): Wild Card (Samoa Joe & Mason Ryan - Unified Tag Team Champs) vs. Power Trip (Matt Morgan & Crimson). The nWo tag-team of Curt Hennig & Big Poppa Pump earned their #1 contender's spot winning the Tag Team Battle Royal at Mania, but so far, this grudge between the new champs and their powerful rivals isn't over yet. Highlights: Hugh roars from this Wembley crowd when Samoa Joe lands the sleeper on Crimson! (Yes, I adjusted the boo's and cheers for the 2-week UK tour). Winners: Wild Card!

X-Division Non-Title: Austin Aires vs. Drew McIntyre. Ahh, well we're in the UK, things aren't going too great for Mac over in the WWE, so why not have him play the role of this past show's Mark Hasins, the UK guy without THAT much pop. Highlights: No way! Future Shock after a finisher-reversal! Look who's taking Impact by storm. Winner: McIntyre. Cutscene: Oh ****! Is that? Is that TAZ!!!??? Attacking McIntyre with a steel pipe from behind! So, let me get this straight...Dreamer & Sabu appeared @ Mania, Raven on Smackdown, and now TAZ on Impact? Hmmm...

Main Event: Goldberg vs. Big Poppa Pump w/ Michael McGilicutty. Feels like 1999 all over again. Goldberg vs. the nWo. Highlights: After Da Man spears McGillicutty off the ring apron, he destroys Steiner with an overhead press and Jackhammer for the 1-2-3. Winner: Goldberg! Cutscene: Very stranger moment, as both Berg and Pump raise each other's arms to the UK crowd with respect. Um... is Berg now nWo or is Steiner a defecter?

            See you next week.

                    My champions are (estimated reigns):

WWE Champ: "Masked" Kane (1 week)
TNA Champ: J. Hardy (2 months)
Int. Champ: C. Rhodes (3 months)
                    US Champ: Swagger (1 month)
                    X-Div. Champ: Aires (2 weeks)
Diva Champ: B. Phoenix (3 months)

I gave all the rest of the belts to the Unmasked Kane on a dead brand lol...but the Hardcore belt will probably show up soon enough.

I created me and 5 of my close friends and put us in an anti-WWE stable. We're like another nWo, taking over my Universe. If only I could have more than 5 people in a stable. Anyways,I took out and injured John Cena many times already, as well as many others. It's really addicting.

Thought long and hard about this..but I think I'll try and use at least half of the CPU booking to see if it actually goes anywhere. Frustrating to use guys you don't want to, but let's give it a whirl, shall we?

                            - RAW -

Triple H vs. Bobby Roode. I'm dying to get Roode off this show. It was a cool little feud at first, but I like him battling Jeff Hardy, James Storm, and the like. This cross-brand matchup shouldn't be going on 3 months later. Cutscene: This contest will be a "Falls Count Anywhere" match. Whoopie-doo. Pretty good match, though, with Hunter nailing the Pedigree on the entrance ramp. Winner: HHH. This is the second time he's won straight up against Roode, PLEASE change the card on RAW, CPU! Cutscene: Roode and HHH battle at the top of the entrance ramp. JESUS!!!!!!!

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Nash. There's actually some sort of story going on here, so I'll continue it...even though Ziggler DID win with a sleeperlock on Nash last week, but at least Regal came out and attacked both men, forcing me to create the UK Invasion faction. Cutscene: Regal's sitting ringside---too bad we can't hear his amazing commentary!!! Highlights: It would be great if Cole and Lawler actualy acknowledged their guest at ringside...perhaps something to work on for WWE 13 then? Cutscene: After I ran at Regal with Zig, the 2 had choice words that led to a confrontation and a beating on my behalf... As Regal bounced from the match Nash got involved forcing my Zig to chase him towards the back... Winner by Countout: Nash. That was actually cool and at least forced something for next week.

Non-title Match: Big Show vs. "Masked" Kane (WWE Champ). Finally! Some brilliant booking on RAW by the CPU. The stupid ADR vs. Kane match is now gone and here is a Wrestlemania rematch! Makes classic sense, and I'll gladly have this match over another Daniel Bryan squash any day. Cutscene: Halfway through the brutal match and a knocked out ref, as Kane was going for the sledgehammer, Jericho ran out!!! This trio isn't over yet. Jericho went into the ring and certainly got in Kane's way, trying to help his former partner but it wasn't enough with Kane beating Show via "Walls of Jericho." Mocking him, perhaps? Winner: Kane.

I've got to go to work, Main Event tomorrow morning!

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

[QUOTE=LOOSECANNON;2043337780]Grumpy! I'm a Boston guy, and it was a rough night.......................

Loose I'm a Cali Born raised Angels Fan?..Can not wait for baseball now...I guess your a SOX fan then?..I can dig that!...

Anyways, Funny Sunday night, I was playing Universe and decided to let my son call the shots. He played with me for the next week on RAW...He won 3 of the 4 matches vs me. He is getting pretty good?..LOL. I must be getting old.

I think i have decided to have one belt for tag teams...Morgan and Crimson just won the Unified Tag Belts from Epico and Primo. I'll mix and match tag match each show to just it fresh. I wanna add some more superstars so i might have to give on them in my top 50. But I love Rosa Mendez in my diva division.

What I'm most worried about it trying to get Punk back on track. The last 4 months have been bad. Lost The belt and also his momentum , talking like 4 bars left. Whatever I try to do to get it back it is not working..any suggestions.

My HaRdKore division is pretty insane right now. Each week I throw in a match to keep it fresh to.

Question: How did you get a 15 team #1 Battle Royal!..did you just do rumble and select your participants.

RAW was pretty cool. I like how Y2J played the crowd and his HEEL run started again, right where he left off 2 yrs ago. Punk dropped the pipe bomb and .... now we have a WM28 match I think, for who is the BEST in the WORLD!

                              peace

-Yeah, maybe we can go to an Angels game this season! Make the trip, bro. Do you have a facebook?

-Did your son beat you in the U? Smart kid. How old?

-I did the 15 team Battle Royal exactly as you said...so some guys never got to see their partners; i'm just glad no one fought against each other that wasn't! It was fun.

-I'm slowly getting Punk on track, too, and after last week's ECW-Smackdown rush, I'm a little disappointed they didn't make an appearance on my RAW--though I do have 1 match left...and here it is...

Santino vs. Kofi Kingston!!! Haha, yup this match has been going on for centuries...and it's obvious I want this off my show ASAP. The only way to do that I'm assuming is PLAY IT ---even though Kofi already beat his *** before. I'm PRAYING PRAYING PRAYING for a good cutscene or something. Otherwise, I give. Cutscene: Vladimir Kozlov comes in and "turns" on Santino, although I didn't have them as allies. In fact, Kozlov is a "free agent," I had heard about this happening to many people, and it finally happened to me. Ugh. Winner: Kofi. Cutscene: Kofi and Santino shake hands. OK, hope this ends.

News: Vladimir Kozlov has turned his back on the WWE fans. This is stupid! I have him on a "dead brand." Ugh, the patch doesn't fix this, either.

                                - Smackdown -

Wade Barrett & ?????? vs. Sheamus & Zack Ryder. Pretty good booking by the CPU and it's strikingly familiar to this week's matchup on Smackdown, if you replace Ryder with Show...and the mystery partner with Rhodes. I really hope for next year's WWE 13 that they install another 40 hours of commentary, close to how NBA 2K12 did with their updated commentary, or tons of background. When you listen to that, it really sounds like 3 guys are in the booth and the chemistry is amazing. If it's possible for them to track a full 82 game season, it's possible for Cole & Lawler to give us some background on what's going on in our Universe!!! And the mystery partner is noneother than the former Scotty Flamingo himself, RAVEN!!! Last week he sat silently ringside for Barrett's disaster of a loss vs. Orton and now he's here on Barrett's side! Highlights: Due to constant interference, Winners by DQ: Ryder & Sheamus. Cutscene: After the match Ryder is attacked by Sandman with a chair and Raven puts in the stomps!!! ECW is certainly in the hizzouse!!!

Ted Dibiase vs. Tommy Dreamer. First official non-PPV match involving an ECW Superstar in my universe! Other than the 15 Tag Team Battle Royal at Mania, we have yet to see any Extreme guys in official action. As you could see the past 2 weeks, Raven, Taz and Sandman have been making a huge impact, invading both TNA and the WWE. Now it's up to little seen Legacy member Dibiase to hold up his end against one of ECW's forefather's and former Hardcore champion himself, Tommy Dreamer. Highlights: Great back n forth match, I nailed the Dreamer Driver on Dibiase before he kicked out with a leg on the rope. But after reversing into a great DDT (another sig), I finished him off with a half crab for the submission. Winner: Dreamer. Invasion continues!

Main Event: Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan. Oh why not? It's this forthcoming Smackdown's Main Event and the CPU booking makes no sense once again. Cutscene: Oh, love cutscenes when I cutomize freely--sometimes they're even better!!!--Daniel Bryan attacked Orton before the match with a Thesz press before the bell, and although the Viper battled back, it wasn't enough to overcome the beatdown. While RKO just barely escaped the Labell Lock, he failed to kick out of a great North Lights bridge!!! Major upset on Smackdown! Winner: Bryan. Cutscene: After the match Bryan beat down Orton with a chair. HEATED Rivalry and me likes!!!!

                                - TNA/Impact -

Abyss vs. The nWo: Joker, Michael McGillicutty, and Scott Hall. The saga continues... Once again, we're in the UK for this edition of TNA Impact and it looks to be one hell of a card, following that ECW Invasion of Smackdown!! Who is the Joker? Will we ever find out? Highlights: WOWW...it took 4 straight Razor's Edges to defeat Abyss. He kicked out of the first 3 and for whatever reason -- glitch, maybe??? -- Hall kept earning more finishers. Finally, on the 4th, it went away and so did Abyss. Winners: nWo. No cutscene. Will this rivalry between the Monster and Evil Prankster be gone?

AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels. It's the return of the Fallen Angel, with this rivalry spanning back several years now. Their matches were some of the very best this federation has ever witnessed, with now with former Styles' pal Matt Hardy seemingly foot on the wrong side of the tracks (he'll play my Kazarian for now), Daniels steps in to make matters worse. Cutscene: Matt Hardy runs down the ring, forcing AJ to chase Daniels around the ring towards Matt and just as that happens, another... Cutscene: Chris Sabin hops in from the crowd to attack Matt Hardy and level off the interference!!!! As both X-Division combatants leave the match, AJ applies more signature moves before escaping a dangerous leap from Daniels, finishing off his arch-rival with a bridged suplex for the victory! Winner: AJ. Now, THAT was awesome.

Drew McIntyre vs. Taz. Now why can't the CPU book my RAW like my TNA? I've heard other complaints about this as well. I just feel like when you have an all-CAW universe they do a great job. Last week I decided to push Mac over to TNA and get him some London-love. He upset Austin Aires last week non-title before given a pipe-lashing by ECW legend Taz. Cutscene: Oh, this is greatttttt!!!! Taz waves on Raven and now McIntyre has no choice but to battle it out with the seemingly new leader of the Extreme team! Highlights: Wow, after a steady back n forth by the opponents..Raven sinks in the Dragon Sleeper for the Submission! Winner: Raven. Cutscene: After the match, TAZ raises up Raven's arm only to clothesline him after the match to the UK's approval! Appears like Taz will have no part of this ECW invasion despite the brutal beatdown of Mac last week. Crazy!!!

Main Event: James Storm & Sting vs. Bully Ray & Bobby Roode. Went with Thursday's Main Event despite the CPU booking 2 intriguing choices. At least I'll know I'll have a good M.E. again for next week. So far this show has been gold, let's see what happens when I flip everything right upside its head. Highlights: Wish there was a way for "The Icon" to have a baseball bat prop during his entrance. After failing to secure the pinfall on Bully via Scorpion Deathdrop, Sting went after Roode outside the ring and punished him hard..and lost track of the count. Winners by Countout: Bully & Bobby.

And today, on WWE.COM, Interim GM John Laurinaitis' Press Conference for the April PPV "Extreme Rules" was steringly interrupted by none other than Paul Heymen!!! The ECW GM grabbed the microphone from Johnny Ace, proudly announcing that a deal with Vince McMahon had been struck for a crossbrand deal for the PPV instead! Thus, in 2 more weeks...WWE's "Extreme Rules" will certainly still be that, but under the new moniker....delivered by Extreme Championship Wrestling....for..... "Hardcore Heaven 2K12"!!!
