Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Heah guys, i wanted to jump back in a big way tonight, now that I had some time to play a few matches...enjoy...LOOSE ty for the tricks!!!.peace
Ladies and Gentleman I'm Micheal Cole and my along side is my partner HOF Jerry Lawler.
We are 1 week away from the CLASH OF CHAMPIONS. Things are heating up and the locker room is like a cage animal ready to break out of the cage. Speaking of cages, we have a special MAIN Event for you tonight to get you the WWE Universe excited for sunday. Let get this show rolling.
The first Match of the night is going to be a a singles match, Miz VS. Santino
The Miz is all fried up over last weeks loss to Sheamus. So he is deciding to take out his aggresion on Santino, the GM assistant. The match gets off and Miz going for the colar tie up. Hip toss to the mat. Jerry, Miz's ring attics have improved alot of this last year. Cole, that guy is a good but he needs to focus on match. The awesome one picks Marella off the mat and prepares for a stand drop kick but Tino counters with a clothesline knocking Miz down. This a pretty good battle we have here tonight cole. We know the miz is just AWESOME. The action spills to the outside of the ring. Fist are flying. Miz counters with a knee to the guy and he rolls Tino back in the ring. Gaining mementum Miz goes for the Face Buster, and plants Tino to the mat. rolls over and goes for the pin. The ref counts a 1,2,3 and the wineer. THE MIZ..............(cutscene) Miz looks at the defeated Tino on the mat, hops out the ring and pulls chair under the ring. Cole I think he about to take out Marella but just then you hear....
Spoiler
He's Back and ready to take out the Miz!!!
We are back from commerical - We see John Lourninatis is on the phone like always...who is he talking too?
We will out find next.....?????????????
Spoiler
Are you kinding me.....There's back too, but what for. We know that DX won the Tag titles from TNA Invasion last week...so that could only mean one thing.
HEAH YOOOOOOO...We want what is ours. You all know what we are talking about. We are the most dominating team in Wrestling History and we want a shot this sunday. Heah Big Kev you have anything to say about this. HHH I told you I was coming back and I was bringing the band. Well here we are and coming for you.
So since we are here we need to get some ring rust off. Send us out an oppenent. Out comes THE USO's...Nash and Hall did not take long to figure out there tag team experience was still in great shape. Within 1:30 they destroyed them. Jerry it looks like he have a big problem on our hands.
We back from break and Sheamus in the ring....talking about his championships he would like to get back very soon. Migill makes his way to ring. Cole, the Miz did not have such a good nite after his match lets see what his MIZFITS can do. I guess Wade has had enough of the irish man, he slides in the ring breaks up the match and lands 2 wastelands on The Celtic Warrior. Cole, what is the heck is going on around here....we shall find more out this sunday.
We are here for the Main Event of the nite - CM Punk the WWE Champion and World Champion has taken another nite off to gear up for his big nite, He strolls to the ramp, tilts his head and says ITS CLOBBERING TIME...we got a very special guest tonight Jerry , move over so the BEST COMMENTRY MAN in the world can call this match.
You know what guys, I have that big surprise in store for sunday, it will turn the WWE upside down...you will have fight for everybreath to take the titles from me.
Now lets get this Main Event CAGE MATCH rockin...We have a Kane VS Orton
These two have been tearing eachother up for weeks and I guess Big Johnny has decided to let them settle this in a Cage.
Kane has one the last 2 of 3 matches they match been in over the last 3 weeks, So Cole this should be a good one...The music hits and the fire comes blazing out...Kane is in mood tonight and you can see it on his face.....The Apex predator slithers to the ring...inspects the cage and door and gets inside slamming the gate shut. The bell rings and the go at it. Kane lifts his boot to the face of orton. Randy lying there motionless. Cole, this might be the quickest Cage match in WWE history...Lifts him to his feet..the black glove reaches for his thoat and back to the mat Ortons head slams. Kane evil has struck in a big way tonight., orton had no chance in this match, this was a mass of destruction.
Jerry, is that Kane looking at Punk with a grin on his face as he opens the door and steps out to the floor....what is this all about....we are out of time and shall see on on sunday PPV.Last edited by Grumpykore; 03-17-2012, 02:51 AM.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Hot off the heels of Summer Slam, the heat rolls on when John Laurinaitus issues Nash a mystery opponent tonight on RAW Super Show!!!
Let's just say the champ doesn't appear too happy!!!
R-Truth & Kane vs. Orton & Punk (Sons of Anarchy). Cutscene: SOA attacks Kane & Truth from behind! After the Big Red Monster kicked out after the GTS, he did not kick out of an RKO. Winners: SOA. For whatever wild reason, Kane's music played instead of SOA's! And it had nothing to do with this... Cutscene: SOA returned the favor with a battering of chairs, proving their newfound attitudes are by all means necessary!
Interview with Sheamus, the new Intercontinental Champion!
*cue Cody's music*
After The Great White stole the title in the Intercontinental Scramble @ 'Slam, Rhodes demanded a rematch -- and blamed The Big Show in the process! Remember both wrestlers represent the nWo. Is there trouble brewing? Sheamus accepts and is forced to wrestle in his suit!
Non-title: Rhodes vs. Sheamus (I.C. Champ). Sheamus gets the clean victory and finishes off Rhodes with the Celtic Slam! Winner: Sheamus.
Triple H vs. Joker. With Triple H finally getting over the hump by putting Undertaker away... Joker announced that the nWo wasn't done with Triple H. Well, I had Shawn Michaels run-in and do what only Shawn does best: Sweet Chin Music! Right on the Prankster for the 1-2-3. Winner: HHH. D-X Celebrates, and Shawn claims after, in the locker room, post-matchup: "We invented these rules--having NO Rules. And New World Order, be it, Nash, Hall, Bret Hart, ol' pal oh buddy oh' mine. Degeneration X sets the bar around here. And don't you forget IT!!!!!"
Main Event - Tables Match (Non-Title): ??? vs. Kevin Nash (WWE Champ). Wow! And now this is a shocker!!!Spoiler....and this is what makes the Universe A.I. in WWE 12 so brilliant! Even my booking prowess wouldn't have come up with this!!!We have not see Henry on RAW in some time, particularly when he suffered an injury at the hands of Jericho...and seeing how he was left off the Summer Slam card, the World's Strongest Man wasn't too happy. Laurinaitus told him his time would come and we would have thought it'd be the next night? At one point, Henry planted Nash on a table but Nash rolled off just before the big man would splash on him, spilling into the table in the process! The thing exploded into a gazillion pieces. Following, Nash even laid out Henry with a Jacknife and a deadly table shot! But another table would explode when Henry just avoided a top-rope elbow smash from the champ! Henry would then punish the nWo leader with continuous table shots before receiving some on his own. Nash will not stop! Henry would not be contained however, when he slipped Nash on a table and belly-splashed on top of him for the HUGE win! Winner: Henry. What does this mean for Cena who won the #1 Contender's match?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
With Heyman on the shelf --after his backstage brawl with McMahon @ Summer Slam-- Teddy Long's in control of tonight's ECW, playa playa!!!...What we have for you tonight, playas, are 3 championship bouts...and we bout to get EXTREEMMMEEE on dat azz y'all!!!
Hardcore Championship - Extreme Rules: Bully Ray (Champ) vs. Chris Benoit. After Bully bumrushed Anderson during an interview last week and sent the ol' man careening through a table, the Wolverine is unleashed!!! Benoit hasn't been seen in singles action--actually EVER--in my universe, so tonight makes his solo debut of sorts. And what the hell!!!?? About 28 seconds into this match, Chris Benoit already catches the Bully in the Crippler Crossface! There's nowhere to go! A new record time for ECW!!! Oh my!! Winner:
ECW Tag Team Championship: The Dudley Boyz (Champs) vs. Primo & Epico. Tonight marks the debut of ECW's latest acquisition, Primo & Epico! Bully Ray is still a little distraught, if not a little neck-strained over his record loss to The Crippler! D-Von told his disgruntled brother, "Toughen up, Bubba. Teddy Two Times brought deez cats from the ol' Smackdown days...and you need your head in this. ARE YOU IN THIS!?" While his brother agreed, this could be trouble for the Extreme Tag Champs! Highlights: I've never seen the double-team insigori before! Primo just nailed Bully with it! Despite the impressive Universe debut, the vets proved too tough and Bully's bionic elbows got the job done on Primo while brother D-Von knocked down Primo. Winners: Dudleyz.
United States Championship: Alberto Del Rio (Champ) vs. Santino Marella. Are you kidding me? 36 seconds in and Santino makes the newly crowned champ tap to a... FULL NELSON? No way. Make that TWO new champions tonight in record time!! A historical evening for Extreme Championship Wrestling!! Winner:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Next, on the Impact Zone...Icon's in the house!!!
M. Hardy & Daniels vs. AJ & ???. Last week, AJ had a mystery partner, and it was former WWE Superstar John Morrison. While the team went on to be victorious AJ said this week he isn't done messing with Daniels' mind for all the grief he put him through with Hardy. So, AJ's got another mystery partner tonight. And it's... MISSSTERRRRRRRRRRR ANDERRRSONNNNNNNNNN!!!! Yes, he's back!!! And ready to rock the ring with The Angels of Death. Great match once again, with plenty of double team moves....but it's Mister Anderson who gets the decision with the Mic Check on Hardy for the win! Winners: Styles & Anderson.
X-Div (Non-Title): Morrison vs. Aires (Champ). The CPU did a terrific job booking matches this week, and this is no exception. After the impressive TNA debut of John last week, it was no surprise Sting would already push the man into X-Division contention. He actually faces the champ tonight, despite the title not being on the line. Highlights: Despite the fact that Morrison rocked it for most of the match with an array of trademark maneuvers, Aires still found a way to pull it off...and cleanly! Winner: Aires.
J. Hardy vs. Sabin. Referee waves this one out when Alex Shelley ran in and got revenge on Sabin before the bell!
Main Event – 6-Man Tag: Shane Douglas, Kurt Angle & Bobby Roode vs. Sting, James Storm, and Hulk Hogan. Cutscene: Sting and Hogan give each other a high five before the bout…which I always thought was a terribly stupid cutscene until now. If you’re keeping track at home, folks, you know that both Icons Sting & Hogan have been screwed out of opportunities with Roode, especially last week when “The Franchise” debuted on Impact and sided with the Heavyweight Champ. What was cool about this match is how each rivalry was played out..Shane/Hogan...Angle/Storm...Sting/Roode. This also turned into a donny-brook, with Shane DDTing Hogan outside on the concrete, but it was Sting who nailed the Scorpion Deathdrop on The Franchise to end the epic match-up. Winners: Storm, Hogan, & Sting!
See you next week!Last edited by LOOSECANNON; 03-21-2012, 02:58 AM.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Singles Match
Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Kidd
In his first match since returning to the WWE, Chris Jericho is set to fight Tyson Kidd. Jericho is getting his shot to qualify for the Royal Rumble which is only a few days away.
Jericho, made it known that he is looking to recapture the Undisputed WWE Title when he made his debut a few nights ago on monday night raw. However tonight he would make his in ring debut. Jericho would dominate Kidd from the first ding of the bell. Then make Kidd tap out to the Walls of Jericho.
Divas Battle Royal - Divas Championship
Kharma vs. Trish Stratus vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix
Looks like a new Divas Champion will be crowned tonight. As COO Triple H decided that the best way to decide a champ would be just throw a bunch of them in the ring and let them fight it out.
Kharma would first eliminate Trish. Kharma would then help Kelly Kelly eliminate Beth Phoenix, then Kharma would immediately eliminate Kelly Kelly to win the Divas Championship title.
Second Round of United States Championship Tournament
Big Show vs. Booker T
In the final deciding match for who fights in the finals of the Championship Tournaments Big Show and Booker T face off in the main event. The winner going to the Royal Rumble to face Dolph Ziggler.
Big Show and Booker would go back and forth. But right when Big Show was about to go for the Choke Slam, Booker T reversed it and hit the book end. Big Show would narrowly kick out before the three count then get booker T in the corner where he hit him with several rights and lefts. Then hit the big choke slam to get the win.
(Cutscene) Mark Henry would come out lead pipe in hand and destroy the Big Show. What will Shows condition be like for the Royal Rumble this sunday.Last edited by Chicago Made; 03-22-2012, 04:30 PM.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
**All CPU Booked Show Triple H COO took the night off preparing for his match with CM Punk**
Today's Remarkable Match
Zack Ryder vs. Tyson Kidd
For the second straight week Zack Ryder and Tyson Kidd would open up Smackdown. This rivalry is beginning to catch some steam.
(cutscene) Tyson Kidd would put on some brass knocks then hit Ryder square in the jaw.
Kidd would go for the pin but Ryder would kick out at the count of two.
(cutscene) Tyson Kidd would throw the ref across the ring out of frustration.
Kidd would then grab Ryder and hit him with a chair while the ref was out. When the ref came back too Kidd rolled Ryder up for the pin and the win.
(Cutscene) As Ryder was leaving Kidd grabbed him and threw him against the ring post. Then strategically placed Ryder head on the post and lined him up and kicked him in the head with Ryders head still against the post.
This rivalry has been cranked up an extra notch.
Todays Remarkable Match
Mark Henry & Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk & ??
In a shocker the mystery partner for CM Punk was Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Crowd exploded, (hell even I marked out a lil).
(Cutscene) Jericho extends his hand out to Punk then cheap shots Punk to get the upper hand.
Jericho and Henry would do a number on CM Punk but then Stone Cold would come in on fire then hit Henry with a Stunner to pick up the win.
Singles Match
Bill Goldberg vs. The Undertaker
Goldberg would dominate The Undertaker. However, it would take two Jackhammers to put the deadman away Goldberg did manage to get the victory.
Singles Match
R-Truth vs. The Miz
Smash would come down to interfere in the match and take after Truth accidentally knocked out the referee. Smash would then hit Truth with a DDT on a chair then the Miz would cover to get the win after Smash woke up the referee.
With Truth & Kofi taking on Demolition at the Royal Rumble this could turn into an interesting bout.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Divas Battle Royal - Divas Championship
Kharma vs. Trish Stratus vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix
As much as I liked the DIVA and my Knockouts in my "u"..I decided the other night to just put both titles to rest. It was just eating up all my weekly matches and PPV. I have all the Girls except Beth and Nataya were on FA, that demolished the women's division. THE EYE CANDY is gone, I just want to play WWE12. - dont have all the time in the world anymore.
There is good reason for this, 1st and foremost is you get more smarter matches once you free up your "u" with talent. 2nd and the best of all is you get to have your all you superstar talent used in "u" by CPU bookings.
To each is own, I will bring back Diva's if a storyline developes but for now the 86Xed.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Tag Team Championship Match
Demolition vs. KofiTruth
Demolition would use their experience to dominate the tag team of Kofi Truth isolating each to their advantage until Smash would pick up the pin. As the new tag team champions of the WWE is Demolition.
United States Championship Match
Dolph Ziggler vs. Big Show
Dolph Ziggler brought his Epic A+ game tonight as he managed to win the US Championship title over the Big Show. Although it would take 5 Zig Zags Ziggler was able to walk out with the championship.
(Cutscene) The EMT would come out to wheel The Big Show back to the locker room it looks as if he may be on the shelf for a while.
Last Man Standing Match
Zack Ryder vs. Tyson Kidd
Zack Ryder would get revenge for what Kidd did to him on Smackdown on Friday but putting him through tables and slapping a chair around his ankle then coming down on it from the top rope. Ryder also connected on 3 Rough Ryders before getting Kidd down for the 10 count.
Intercontinental Championship Match
R-Truth vs. Drew McIntyre
R-Truth would defeat Drew McIntyre after hitting Lil Jimmy's finale on Drew. Truth battled McIntyre from start to finish hitting big move after big move. Truth scored the pin and celebrated his title win, with partner Kofi Kingston.
Undisputed Championship Title Match
CM Punk vs. Triple H
This match was the best on the card thus far, and with so many people clamoring about Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk, CM Punk managed to overlook Triple H whom layed the whipping of a lifetime on Punk. Triple H would nail the Pedigree on Punk to get the pinfall and become the Undisputed Champion.
(cutscene) HBK comes out to celebrate with Triple H

29. Cody Rhodes - 28th eliminated by Sting
30. David Otunga - 27th eliminated by Sting
CM Punk entered the Royal Rumble after losing the his chance to win the title earlier that night to Triple H. The biggest surprise came after Punk when the Hulkster came out to enter the Royal Rumbe.
The next shocker was Sting coming out.
The Final four was Sting, Rhodes, Otunga, and The Rock. Sting took out Otunga quickly. Then Sting took out Rhodes for it to be just The Rock and Sting left the winner going to Wrestlemania. After quite a bit of back and forth Sting would take out The Rock to win the Royal Rumble and main event Wrestlemania.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
**Monday Night Raw is brought to you by "The Den"
"No Chance.... No Chance in Hell...." Vince Mcmahons music hits, and the Raw crowd greets him with mixed emotions. As the chairman of the WWE makes his way ringside.
Vince McMahon: Well, lets get right down to business here tonight. First off I would like to give a round of applause to all the WWE superstars for putting on a great pay per view last night at the Royal Rumble. Id like to congratulate my son-in-law Triple H on winning the Undisputed Championship.
But speaking of Triple H, I need you to come out here so that I can relay a bit of information to you.
~Triple H music hits and he makes his way down to the ring.
Vince McMahon: You see Hunter, I have to relieve you of your duties of running Raw, that will now be in the hands of me myself. You see I have to retake control of the company my daddy built, because you Triple H allowed an outsider to come in and win the Royal Rumble granting him a spot in the main event at Wrestlmania.
So consider your self a full time competitor until you get your priorities straight.
~Vince leaves the ring with Triple H standing there speechless.**
Today's Remarkable Match (CPU Booked)
John Cena vs. The Rock w/ Kevin Nash
(Cutscene) As Cena is coming down to the ring Scott Hall attacks Cena again for the second week in a row.
The Rock immediately goes out to beat on Cena some more then tosses him in the ring Rock Bottoms him then gets the pinfall.
(Cutscene) Scott Hall comes out and the Rock, Nash, and Hall all begin an assault on Cena with Chairs.
**OMG is this what I think it is?
***The Rock has officially turned Heel
Tag Match
Road Warriors vs. SanYoshi
In what may a shocker to most SanYoshi would surprise the team of the Road Warriors as they hope to get a title match against Demolition in 3 weeks at the Elimination Chamber. Yoshi Tatsu would connect on a huge kick and get the pinfall as SanYoshi pulled off the upset.
Singles Match
Triple H vs. Tyson Kidd
Tyson Kidd has been seemingly getting a high amount of praise in the WWE Locker room as many of the stars have him in the Undisputed Championship hunt. Tonight was his chance to prove that he belongs in that spotlight as he battled Triple H in a non-title match.
And prove he didn't belong is what Triple H did as he dominated Kidd from the beginning to the end forcing Kidd to tap.
Triple Threat
The Miz vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Alberto Del Rio
Tyson Kidd was pushed into a match right after being destroyed by Triple H by the Chairman Vince McMahon. This match being a number one contender match. Much speculation is going through the arena as to wonder why exactly Tyson Kidd is in a match for the number one contendership.
The Miz would pick up the win as he pinned Tyson Kidd whom for the second straight match proved that he just isn't main event material just yet.
As the Miz is now the Number 1 Contender for the Undisputed championship.Comment

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
You guys are doing a great job with these posts. I've been following along, but wanted to thank you guys for the detailed updates.
With it being WM weekend, I've got the itch to pick this game back up again. Do you guys play most of the matches, or have it set up to be CPU vs. CPU and sit back and watch? If you do play the matches, can you recommend some sliders to use? Do you edit the cards each week, or just for the PPVs, if you feel changes need to be made?Currently Playing:

Will be looking to get back into my Universe pretty soon. I haven't really touched WWE '12 since the NBA trade deadline, as I've been playing out my Association in 2K12.
I put the game in the other day, to change Cena's music to "Basic Thuganomics" & CM Punk's music to his old theme (can't remember the name).
I've been keeping up with all of your Universes, and hope you guys enjoy my upcoming posts.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
Hi guys, I'm looking to get into the Universe mode proper. I'm curious as to how you guys get the best results for your storylines and such. Do you micro-manage everything like rivals and allies (especially allies)? I have a few storylines in mind but I did it kind of haphazardly my first time out and am looking to see how I can improve results with things like cutscenes etc.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?
I've had the game for a bit, but I haven't really played it yet, let alone really gotten deep into a Universe Mode, but (thanks partially to Wrestlemania) I've kinda been in a mood to play lately, so I've been checking it out a bit. Also did some reading up on this year's Universe Mode to see all the improvements they've made, so I'm thinking of starting one up.
I've started the setup - here's what I've done so far:
Downloaded The Rock and Shawn Michaels; Replaced Superstars with a custom show called Battlezone; Replaced the Diva's Championship with the Women's Championship; done some slight roster swapping, most notably moving Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Evan Bourne, and Drew McIntyre from Raw to SmackDown!
Outside of that, I've left everything untouched and stock, I'm not particularly updating things to follow current WWE - although I am debating possibly making Daniel Bryan heel.
Current champions are all stock, except for the Women's Championship which is being held by Layla, replacing the Diva's Championship held by Kelly Kelly.
My current main event scenes:
Raw: The Rock, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Alberto Del Rio (champion), CM Punk, John Cena, The Miz
SmackDown!: Undertaker, Randy Orton (champion), Rey Mysterio, Sheamus
So does anyone have any nice tips or suggestions on how to run my Universe Mode going forward? Maybe different ways that they run theirs?
Last year, I pretty much just started early by setting up matches that I wanted to play, using wrestlers that I wanted to play with, and then let cutscenes and events throughout Universe Mode dictate booking going forward.
Although, I do know that this year, despite there being #1 Contender's matches, you can set up title matches whenever you want this time around. Do people ignore #1 Contender's matches and just make their own title matches? Use strictly the #1 Contender's matches as set up by the AI? A little bit of both perhaps? At what point do you all draw that line? How do you book feuds? What do you use Superstars for? In SvR2011, I used Superstars to give extra matches for DLC guys that were at the bottom of the rankings despite being Legends, that way I could try to get guys like Rock and Austin into the main event. Do you guys use Superstars as it works in real life and use it to build younger talent before putting them on big time Raw and SmackDown! TV? I've seen suggestions that people use Raw and SmackDown! for the major / minor titles, and use Superstars for the Tag and Diva feuds.
Obviously, there's no "one" right way to play the game, I'm just looking to see how other people play to maybe get some ideas.Comment
