Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

Eric Bischof- Last night on ECW. Paul Heyman made a match with my WWF superstars. He CANNOT do that unless I agree. But hes right. Kane, Big Show and Undertaker need to seatlle things out so i agree on the match. But it shall not be under a ECW Stipulation. Those guys could get injured, so with all the people in the royal rumble match, we would have way more than 30 men, so the triple threat match between taker, big show and kane will be a qualifying match into the royal rumble.

Match 1- Christian vs CM punk. highlights- last night these guys competed in the most hardcore guanlet mat in the ages. So tonights stipulation will just be a one on one because one of these guys could get injured. These guys exchanged punches to each other one by one. Christian got the upper hand once he revearsed a hurricaruna by punk. He dominated most of the match till the HARDCORE Champion Brodus Clay came out and distracted christian. CM Punk was about to hit the G.T.S on Christian till he revearsed it into a KillSwitch. Winner- Christian

Match 2- Legacy vs NMI (new mexican invasion(Eddie Guerro and Rey mysterio) just created them now) highlights- Eddie and Rey make their tag debut and wrestling debut in my universe mode, I thought I should creat a team with them in it because I didnt use them as much. Anyway these two had heaps of high flying moves. Awesome double team moves and heaps of cheating by eddie. The match ended by eddie knocking out the ref (purpose or accident), he went out and got a steel chair and knocked out cody. He went top rope then hit the 5 star frog splash. Rey backed him up by knocking Ted off the apron. 1..2..3 Winners- NMI cutscene chavo comes out and celebrates with the 2.

Match 3- Divas match, simulated and forgot who won.

Main Event- Shawn Michaels vs Alberto Del Rio. highlights- Basically Alberto Got smashed, his on a bad roll, hes not in any matches and the ones hes in he gets smashed. Winner- Shawn Michaels

    Royal Rumble Match Card
Shawn Michaels vs Kevin Nash IC Championship
Brodus Clay vs Christian Hardcore Championship street fight
Legacy vs ?????? WWF Unified tag team Titles
Big show vs Kane vs Undertaker Triple threat royal rumble qualifying match
    Sheamus vs Randy Orton
Triple H vs The Rock Hell In A Cell WWF Championship
    The Royal Rumble Match

That turned the whole match over. These 2 battled it out and got back in the ring on a 9 count. Shawn revearsed another move by Nash, than nash revearsed a move by shawn, then shawn revearsed a move by nash, then nash revearsed a move by shawn than, omg whats this, JACKNIFE POWERBOMB. 1..2.. NO shawn kicks out. Nash still has 1 more finisher, he tries using it again but shawn did a comeback. Laying nash on the floor he went to the top rope. Diving elbow. goes to the corner to tune up the band. 1..2....3....4...5..6 Shawn Kicked the head off Nash for the pin 1..2..3 WINNER-
      Spoiler

Match 2- Christian vs Brodus Clay Street fight Hardcore Championship highlights- Wasnt much of a street fight cause both men dont have street clothes, but it was more hardcore than a usuall one. Every weapon you could use in the game was. It wasnt too long beofr both men were busted open . At one point the announce table shattered by Christian as he jumped off the top rope and landed on a downed brodus. Brodus eventually came back as he smack a table over christians head. 1..2.. NO christian kicked out. Brodu kept pummeling down christian with a chair. He put christians leg through the chair and dived on it OUCH. . 1..2.. NO christian kicked out again. Brodus wenmt out to get a guitar. he swung but christian revearsed. grabbed the guitar off him and started bashing him with it. All his rage from what brodus did to him earlier in the match. throws him in the corner and does hid signature. then connected with the KILL SWITCH. 1..2.. NO kicked out again to kick out of a killswitch with blood dripping down your head and a guitar smashed repeatedly. Christian goes top rope and for some reason brodus has a finisher. ( has that happened, you get powned but when you kick out you have a finisher???) Christian goes top rope, DIVING HEADBUTT but brodus rolls out the way. Diving cross body ( changed that to his finisher cause off the funkasourus) 1..2...3 WINNER-
      Spoiler

Match 3- Legacy vs ???? WWF Tag titles. highlights. As Ted Dibia$e and Cody Rhodes walk into the ring, they wait to see who their opponents will be. VIVA LA RAZA. well if it isnt the guys who defeated Legacy this past week NMI. Lots of tag team moves and high flying. Match ended when Dibia$e hit the dream streak on Rey while Cody hit Cross Rhodes on Eddie. 1..2..3 WINNER
      Spoiler
      Spoiler

Match 4- Sheamus vs Randy Orton highlights- just like RoYal Rumble 2010 but without the wwe title on the line. Sheamus started off dominating Randy, randy came back with back breakers and drop kicks. Match ended by Sheamus going for the Brogue kick but randy revearsed it. Sheamus turned around and RKO by randy, looked like it was on TV but in slow motion. 1..2..3 WINNER-
      Spoiler

Match 5- Big Show vs Taker vs Kane royal rumble qualifying match
highlights- Big Show left the ring right when the bell rang and let Taker and Kane finish each other. For the whole match big show was just taunting and walking around. Kane knocked undertaker down and thats when show entered the match. kane went for the chokeslam but show revearsed it. W.M.D. but taker takes his pin. BIG SHOW LET HIM. 1..2..3 WINNER-
      Spoiler
cutscene- Big Show celebrates with Taker. And taker looks like a little B**** with the smile hes got.

Match 6- Triple H vs The Rock WWF championship Hell In A Cell
highlights- OMG, what a match these guys pulled off. Most extreme hell in a cell match ive seen on TV and Xbox. Triple H busted Rock right open by scrapping his head on the cell. Irish whipping him in the cell and also hitting him across the head with a steel chair. But HHH wasnt the only one to go extreme. Rock suplexed HHH on steel steps, threw him in the still and DDT him on a chair. He also powerbombed HHH through the cell making the match go outside. HHH climbed the cell to get away from rock making the match ON TOP OF THE CELL. it looked like Triple H was gonna throw rock of the cage but rock revearsed and did a suplex on the cage. the 2 battled it out with close calls. Triple H hits the spine buster on Rock. Then FInally PEDIGREE, THE CAGE BROKE LOLOL. both men feel through the roof of the cage. triple h went for the pin. 1..2.. Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

Eric Bischoff- Last night, WWF Champion Triple H defeated The peoples champ the rock. Now theres no one else for him to compete against. So tonight were gonna have a 6 man battle royal to be the #1 contender. You will all find out who the contenders be TONGIHT!

Match 1- (old) edge and christian vs NMI (sin cara and chavo) I added sin cara and chavo to NWI because they werent getting anywhere in my universe so why not give them some TV time tonight. highlights- Edge and Christian constantly tagging in and out and using double team moves to defeat the new members of NWI. Winners- Edge and Christian.

Match 2- DIVAS MATCH, simulated it

Match 3- Shawn Michaels vs Kevin Nash steel cage IC TITLE. Look I didnt book this Eric Bischof did i just added the IC title to it so, nice work Eric. highlights- The steel Cage was used multiple of times. Shawn Michaels dominated the first part of the match with him springing of the ropes with cross bodys. I guess it worked out good because Kevin Nash towers over him . Shawn looked like he was gonna climb the cage to get the escape but Kevin Nash got him and threw him on the ground. This is where Nash took controll. Power Bombs, Suplexes and irish whips to the steel cage. Nash whipped Shawn into the corner and did a super suplex. And the door goes flying open. Nash is crawling, but shawn is right behind him. Nash is out the door, his body, his legs. OMG NASH DID IT. HE DID IT IN HIS RE-MATCH. WINNER AND NEEEEEWWWWWWWWW IC CHAMPION KEVIN NASH. what a match and great booking by eric bischof.

Main Event- 6 man battle royal. hihglights- Entrant #1 is non other than the man who won last nights tripel threat, THE UNDERTAKER, entrant #2 THE ROYAL RUMBLE WINNER, BATISTAAAA. entrant #3 the last competitor in the roayl rumble John Cena, #4 The man who defeated sheamus last night RANDY ORTON. Entrant #5 IF YA SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING and the final entrant. Non other than the former IC Champion Shawn Michaels. Undertaker eliminating the first person Batista, he didnt last long. Then Right after that The Rock eliminating Undertaker. Randy orton and john cena battle it out while Rock and Shawn do. Looks like Randys gonna get eliminated, but rock breaaks it up for whatever reason. Rock goes to eliminate Randy but Shawn eliminates him. LOL thats funy Rock went mad hitting the mat while walking out. John Cena chucks both randy orton and shawn but he goes for randy. Shawn breaks it up again for whatever reason then eliminates john. The final two stare each other down till Randy made the first move then shawn with the second. and it kept going. Randy goes for the irish whip chucking Shawn right over. He goes for the elimination but shawn revearses it then DDT Randy on the ground. Goes top rope. AND CONNECTS WITH THE DIVING ELBOW. he goes in the corner to tune up the band. 1..2...3...4..5..6.7. BUt randy revearsed it. RKO. Randy goes for the elimination. But Shanw gets out of it. Chucks Randy over. He pushes. OMG SHAWN LOSES IC CHAMPION JUST TO BECOME #1 CONTENDER. winner- SHAWN MICHAELS. Shawn shall go one on one with his best friend and tag partner Triple H at World War 3 only 4 weeks away for the WWF Championship. what will happen with triple h and Shanw. but mainly where is this Kevin Nash IC Title reign gonna lead us. found out by reading my replys.

Nick, good write ups, but one question, how do you get brands to share titles?

When I've looked into it, it seems like main titles have to be brand specific. I'd love to have just one roster and one world title.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

Never mind, I see how you can share a title between two brands, it's the Raw and Smackdown rosters that you can't combine. Which sucks as well.

Anyways, I am really wanting to start a WWE Universe, I made a post a few pages back asking for any kind of tips in terms of how to book it. I guess it seems like everything that happens will be totally based off of one's imagination, since feuds don't actually build and develop like they did in the old GM Mode.

I've made some roster tweaks, I've downloaded some guys, and I did some slight roster updating. It is not 100% accurate to current WWE rosters, but it's divided up in a way that I think I like.

            Undertaker
            Wade Barrett
            William Regal
            Yoshi Tatsu

            * = WWE Women's Championship replaces WWE Divas Championship

When thinking about it, I don't know if I should combine the titles. After all, I have a pretty deep main event scene consisting of The Rock, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, CM Punk, Undertaker, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, Batista, Mick Foley, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, and Daniel Bryan... although given my rankings at the moment, Daniel Bryan isn't the main event scene.

I may look into it. I'll see how the shows go.

Re: Official: How's your WWE 12 Universe going?

                Week 1

The first Raw since the brand split begins with the return of a legend...

                Spoiler

Yes! Glass shatters, and out comes the wrestling world's favorite beer-drinking anti-hero to a huge pop.

Stone Cold has returned and the new Raw and Smackdown GM, Teddy Long, has placed him in a match with the Miz.

Stone Cold gets the victory in which he showed he still has it. Perhaps this was just preparation for something more?

For our second match of the night, Eve takes on Michelle McCool for a shot at the Women's title.
The first to get the 3 count will face Beth Phoenix on the next Raw for the championship.

Eve picks up a victory in short time after her signature moonsault. She'll take on the Glamazon on Monday night.

Up next is a Number #1 Contender's Match for the World Tag Titles, with the winners facing R-Truth and Kofi Kingston for the titles on the next Raw.

It pits the Colons, Epico and Primo, against the team of ZigSwag, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. It is announced as a table match, elimination-style.

The two teams battle back and forth until one of the Colons slams Ziggler through a table. The Colons have the advantage and quickly put Swagger through a table in what was a convincing victory.

                New #1 Contenders:
                Spoiler

Finally, in the main event, there is yet another #1 Contender's Match, this time for a shot at the WWE Championship.
The winner is set to face WWE Champion C.M. Punk in the near future, likely on the next Raw.
And it's a special one, because six men will square off in a Ladder Match.
Six of the top stars on Raw will battle it out, and the first one to climb the ladder and grab the briefcase will be named the #1 Contender.

First out is the Game, Triple H, with a determined look on his face. Next is Chris Jericho, followed by the returning Edge, then this man..

Michael Cole tells those watching at home that he hears from the back that Stone Cold's earlier match was a test to see if he was ready for a main event matchup such as this. His win gave Teddy the comfort to put him in the match, and he makes his way down to cheers from all over the arena once again.

Finally, John Cena's music hits, and he walks down, only to be attacked by Brock Lesnar! Lesnar is revealed to be the final participant as he runs into the ring, leaving Cena down and hurt. Cena gets back up later and the brawl begins.

It's a brutal battle that lasts a while, ladders all around, lots of weapons used and bodies flying everywhere. Everyone is battered by the time it nears the end. The end comes when some finishers are hit and all participants are groggy except one. They watch as he makes his way up the ladder and snags the briefcase that holds #1 contendership inside.

                  Week 1

We continue the road to Royal Rumble with the first edition of Heat, making its return!

The Divas Title and Intercontinental Title as well as the United States title are without a #1 contender. Each will have one by the end of the night, however. Stay tuned, here comes Heat!

We start off the show with a match between 4 Divas, all from the blue brand, with the winner taking on Layla for the Divas title on Smackdown. It is announced as an over-the-top-rope battle royal.

Out comes Alicia Fox, then the returning Maryse, and next Natalya. Finally, A.J. Lee arrives.
It turns out to be a fairly quick match, with the Divas teaming up on one another to try and pick up eliminations. First, A.J. is eliminated by Alicia Fox and Maryse. Next, Maryse is eliminated. This leaves Fox and Natalya to battle it out. Moments later, Natalya is tossed over the top rope and Alicia Fox gains a decisive victory. She has quite the momentum after a dominant showing going into Friday night.

                  New #1 Contender: Alicia Fox

Now it's time for Raw to show off its talent. For its first match of the night, a #1 contender to the Intercontinental Title will be crowned. Four men are set to duke it out in an Extreme Rules match, in which the winner is determined when three men are eliminated.

Coming out first, making his WWE television debut..

                  Spoiler

It's the crazy Dean Ambrose! He's making his debut tonight on Heat after making his mark on FCW. It would be huge for the rookie if he could pick up a win and get a title shot. He's definitely someone who could use this type of matchup to his advantage. He's the kind of guy that'll brutalize his opponent with anything possible to get the win. I would guess he's in a comfort zone tonight.

                  But who are his opponents?

The lights go down, and music begins to play.

We all know that music! Out comes the Charismatic Enigma, Jeff Hardy, the crowd vocal with its support for the highflyer.

He has made his return, but not only him. Matt Striker, on commentary tonight, tells us there's another man in this match returning.

                  Spoiler

It's Rob..Van..Dam! Here he is, making his way down to the ring, with "One Of A Kind" blaring behind him. He climbs the turnbuckles and does his signature RVD poses. It seems the fans are behind him too.

Last but not least, AJ Styles comes out, looking pumped to make his WWE debut. The smarter fans are aware of The Phenomenal One's talent and are excited. Others are unfamiliar with him. As he walks down he stares at his TNA counterparts.

Finally this match begins. It's what you'd expect from an Extreme Rules match, tons of weapons and lots of brawling. At one point, A.J. Styles is eliminated. Later, Rob Van Dam is pinned. Now it's only rookie and veteran. Ambrose, the less experienced, still seems in his element, as does Hardy.
Ambrose does the unthinkable and hits the Midnight Special on Hardy to get the 3. The fans are in awe. It was quite a showing from Ambrose, and he's set to face Christian for the IC title in the near future.

                  New #1 Contender:
                  Spoiler

Now, we are at the main event. A shot at U.S. Champion Santino Marella is on the line. Six men are going for it, in a battle royal. No over-the-top-rope here, the last man standing is the winner.

Cody Rhodes, a two-time IC champion, is out first. Following are the Enlightener of the Masses, Damien Sandow, the masked luchador Sin Cara, Smackdown rookie and former rugby player Antonio Cesaro, and Matt Hardy as well as John Morrison, both of whom are back in the WWE after an absence.

All of the participants are going after each other, until they separate into one-on-one battles. After a while, Morrison begins to dominate, and he eliminates Sandow as well as Rhodes. Sin Cara then is out, and Matt Hardy next. Lastly are Morrison and Cesaro. Morrison defeats Cesaro and picks up the win.

                  New #1 Contender:
                  Spoiler

Heat ends as Morrison celebrates the victory.
It looks like Cesaro may shake his hand in respect, but instead he attacks him. Cesaro is obviously not only angry that Morrison ended his impressive winning streak, but jealous of his victory.
Maybe a feud will begin between these two?

That's all we have for you on Heat.
Stay tuned, as Dean Ambrose will face Christian and JoMo will take on Santino, for the Intercontinental and United States championships, respectively, in the coming week.

                  Final Card:
Alicia Fox def. Maryse, AJ, and Natalya to become #1 Contender
Dean Ambrose def. RVD, Jeff Hardy, and AJ Styles to become #1 Contender
John Morrison def. Antonio Cesaro, Matt Hardy, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, and Sin Cara to become #1 Contender

                    Week 1

Welcome to the first Friday Night Smackdown!

Raw has each of its champions prepared to defend their titles, but Smackdown does not. Tonight the title pictures will become more clear. Who will be contenders for the tag titles? The World Heavyweight Title? We shall find out.
The road to Royal Rumble continues..

We kick off the show with a Divas Title match.
Alicia Fox has momentum on her side, but Layla, the champion, is fresh and prepared. The match is a singles match but inside of an elimination chamber.

Throughout the match, Fox is doing as well as she was the day before. She pins Layla quickly after an Axe Kick to win the championship.

                    New Divas Champion:
                    Alicia Fox

Now there is an announcement by Teddy Long. To make a #1 contender for the WWE Tag Team Championship, there is to be a tournament over the next few weeks, with matches taking place on Heat and Smackdown. The winners will face the default champions, selected by Teddy himself, Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel, at the Royal Rumble.

The two teams to begin are the Primetime Players, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil, versus the monster pairing of Vladimir Kozlov and Ryback in a No-DQ match.

Over the course of the match, the strength of Kozlov and Ryback prove to be too much for the team of Young and O'Neil. Kozlov lays out Young and the monsters win it. They advance to face the winner of the Usos vs. Sin Cara
                    and Yoshi Tatsu.

Up next we have the Intercontinental Championship match.
It will be the last IC Title match on Smackdown, as the title is moving to Monday nights.

Dean Ambrose takes on yet another vet, the champion Christian.
The younger Ambrose must beat Christian at his own game, the TLC match.
It would be a great accomplishment if the 26 year-old could win the gold in only his second match, especially one that his opponent knows very well.

The match is hellacious. Ambrose and Christian knock each other off of ladders back and forth and destroy each other with tables and chairs. In the end, Ambrose hits the Knee Trembler on the elder Christian's bloody face and practically knocks him out. By the time he rises back up, Ambrose is climbing up the ladder. Ambrose snags the title and falls down to the mat.

Ambrose has surprised the world and made his mark on the WWE!
In just two matches he has gained gold, defeated veterans, and tonight he beat Christian in a type of match which Christian has won in many times in the past! Will anyone be able to stop the rookie? Who will be his next challenger?

                    New Intercontinental Champion:
                    Dean Ambrose

After the match, the newly-formed faction of United Kingdom, consisting of William Regal and his protege, Drew McIntyre, congratulated Ambrose on his victory. Perhaps they are courting the upstart rookie to join them?

For the final match of the night, Smackdown follows suite to Raw's idea. There is to be a 6 man ladder match to name a #1 contender to Sheamus's World Heavyweight Championship.

The first man out is former champ Daniel Bryan, screaming "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!" and the fans join in. Next is the another former champion, the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry. After them are a multi-time champ, Randy Orton. Next, are three men who are making their return.

First, a gong sounds. It's that eerie music and the lights are down. The Undertaker is back for his first match since Wrestlemania! He saunters down to the ring as we await the next participant.

"YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Batista's theme is heard throughout the arena and The Animal bursts onto the stage. He is fired up as he walks down the ramp.
He climbs the stairs and enters the ring.

Each man stares each other down as we wait for the last man to come out.

IT'S THE ROCK! THE GREAT ONE! He hasn't been on Smackdown for over a decade! He's here on his show and in the ring for the first time since encountering John Cena! He's here to layeth the smacketh down!

What a group of talent in this match. Who will challenge Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Title?

The match turns out to be similar to the Raw #1 Contender's match. It is just as barbaric as the previous one, but lasts longer. A toll is taken on everyone in the match, some bloodied, others just battered. There never seems to be a time in the match where one person has the advantage. It's an all-out fight to the end. Every men gave it their all. But there can only be one winner.

Finally, all men in the match tired, only one remains. He ascends the ladder groggily and as the others arise, he seizes the briefcase.

He will challenge Sheamus at the Royal Rumble for the World Heavyweight Title.

                    New #1 Contender:
                    Spoiler

We have now established new champions and determined a #1 contender to the blue brand's highest honor: the big gold belt.

Things are picking up here on Friday nights. Keep it here for Smackdown as we head into the first PPV of the year, Royal Rumble.

                    Final Card:
Alicia Fox def. Layla to become Divas Champion
Vladimir Kozlov and Ryback def. Primetime Players (Titus O'Neil/Darren Young) to advance

                        January - Week 1

                        MONDAY NIGHT RAW
                        (Los Angeles, CA)

                        *** MATCH 1 - Kofi Kingston v. Shawn Michaels ***
We start the New Year off with a BOOM! The first match of the year pits Kofi Kingston against the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels. However, the match hardly had anytime to get underway before Kofi's partner, and the 2nd half of the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions, R-Truth, makes his way to the ring. HBK looks at both men, ready for the double team, but before he has a chance to react, R-Truth strikes, attacking his own partner Kofi Kingston and laying him out. Kofi would become easy pickings for Shawn Michaels who would pick up an easy victory in his return to the WWE. But what's in store going forward for the Tag Team Champions?

                        *** MATCH 2 - The Rock v. Vladimir Koslov ***
The People's Champion made his way down the entrance ramp to step into the People's Ring, when from underneath the ring comes Mick Foley! The hardcore legend then assaulted his former partner and friend, leaving The Rock at an unfair advantage against Koslov. Koslov would pick up an easy victory following Mick Foley's shocking return to WWE.

                        *** MATCH 3 - The Miz v. CM Punk ***
The Miz wanted a match against the WWE Champion, and he was granted that match under the condition that it was non-title. The Most Must See Superstar would eventually get the pin on the Straight Edge Champion following some rather cheating tactics and a Skull Crushing Finale. However, that would not be the end for The Miz. As he began to leave the ring, a familiar theme song began playing, and Brock Lesnar appeared on the stage. He rushed down the ramp, attacking The Miz, and leaving him beaten and battered at ringside.

                        *** MATCH 4 - ??? v. Zack Ryder ***
Zack Ryder was given a match tonight against a mystery opponent. That opponent would turn out to be Franchise408 (CAW) making his WWE debut. Franchise would make quick work of Zack Ryder in a very impressive debut. After getting the victory, Franchise would leave the ring, grab a steel chair, and continue his beatdown of Long Island Iced Z.

                          THURSDAY NIGHT BATTLEZONE

Tonight, WWE debuts a brand new show, entitled WWE Battlezone!

                          *** MATCH 1 - Alex Riley v. Franchise408 ***
The rookie Franchise408 would face against Alex Riley in his first announced match in the WWE. The Future, as he's also known, would pick up the victory against Riley.

*** MATCH 2 - WWE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
                          Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger (w/ Vickie Guerrero) v. R-Truth & Kofi Kingston ***
Despite their conflict on Monday, the champs seemed in sync in this matchup. The champs would end up retaining when Dolph Ziggler was caught by the referee using a chair against R-Truth.

                          *** MATCH 3 - Kharma v. Kelly Kelly ***
Despite being attacked by Natalya before the match began, Kelly Kelly would put up a good fight against Kharma, but eventually would fall short.

                            FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN

                            *** MATCH 1 - Christian v. Wade Barrett ***
Christian and Wade Barrett started off this match, but quickly the ref was knocked out. Daniel Bryan made his way to the ring attacking both competitors, placing them both in the Labell Lock. Once the referee came to, he would throw the match out for a no contest.

                            *** MATCH 2 - Edge v. Mark Henry ***
Decent back and forth in this match, however Sheamus would eventually come to ring side, causing a distraction to Mark Henry that Edge was able to capitalize on. Edge would get the pin after hitting Henry with the Spear.

                            *** MATCH 3 - Alberto Del Rio v. Sheamus ***
Sheamus walked out of the match early, and it appeared as though Del Rio would get a countout victory. However, Ricardo Rodriguez, thinking he was helping, would throw Sheamus back into the ring. Del Rio and Rodriguez would try to scheme and cheat through the entire match, but finally, after Rodriguez was ejected from ringside, the World Heavyweight Champion was able to get the win after hitting Del Rio with a Brogue Kick.

                            *** MATCH 4 - ??? v. Randy Orton ***
Randy Orton had been hearing all night long about a mystery opponent. When Randy Orton finally came out for his match, he found out that his opponent for the evening was none other than Goldust. Orton was still able to pick up the victory, pinning Goldust after an RKO.

                              Week 2

Yet another pit stop as we reach closer to Royal Rumble.
It's the second Raw, and titles could very well change hands tonight. Every title is on the line except for the most prestigious one on Raw, the WWE Championship, held by C.M. Punk.

We are still waiting on an announcement for a match between Stone Cold and the champion, which is scheduled to happen sometime soon, or perhaps at Royal Rumble. No word has come out yet as to when these two will face off.

That's just one of many things to look forward to on the second edition of Raw!

The Women's Title match starts us off. Eve won a title shot last week and faces Beth Phoenix, the default champion.

The Glamazon was obviously prepared for her first title defense. She prevails easily over Eve. Who will step up and defeat the Glamazon?

Afterwards we have the United States Championship match. John Morrison, the challenger, takes on reigning champion Santino Marella. It is an Extreme Rules match, and the last one on Raw as it is moving back to Smackdown. Not too many weapons used in this one, and Morrison claimed gold once more in a quick victory, albeit a good one.

                              New U.S. Champion:
                              John Morrison

Up next we have the World Tag Team Championship match. Jimmy Boom, the champs, face #1 contenders Primo and Epico, who gained the shot by defeating ZigSwag next week. It is in No-DQ fashion.

This was a quick-paced match filled with action. Both teams traded opponents, Kofi vs Primo then Kofi vs Epico and so on. At first the Colons were ahead when they attacked Jimmy Boom with weapons. Kofi then made a comeback and Jimmy Boom now was in front. R-Truth hit Truth Or Consequences followed by the "Little Jimmy" on Epico. Kofi took down Primo as R-Truth secured the 3-count.

It was a good win by the champions, who proved they were certainly worthy of holding the belts. For now they await more opponents.

Since there was not a main event announced, and nothing new towards a WWE Title match, the fans didn't know what to expect next.

And so GM Teddy Long decided to address this subject.
He announces that there will be a tournament to decide an opponent for Stone Cold to decide a #1 contender. He says this is because the other main-eventers on the roster didn't get a shot at the title like those in the ladder match.

There will be 8 such main-eventers in this tournament, with the winner facing Steve Austin and then the winner of that match will face C.M. Punk at Royal Rumble.

The first of these matches begins tonight.

It is between Ric Flair and Chris Benoit, both returning to the WWE!

Jerry Lawler informs us it will be not only a submission match, made especially for the two excellent technical wrestlers, but also Extreme Rules style.

The match went back and forth until Benoit went for his signature submission, the Crippler Crossface. He missed and Flair capitalized. He got the advantage until Benoit locked in the Crossface out of nowhere. Flair had no choice but to tap out. It was a shorter match than expected but was a decent one.

Benoit moves on. He will go up against either Goldberg or The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels.

On this second edition of Monday Night Raw, some champions proved themselves worthy of holding their gold, while a new champion looks to do the same. Meanwhile, another champion waits for his chance to show why he is the "best in the world".

Who will challenge Stone Cold for #1 contendership? And between Austin and his opponent, who will advance to face C.M. Punk for the WWE Championship?

Find out next time on Raw as the WWE Title Tourney continues..

                              Final Card:
                              Beth Phoenix def. Eve
                              Jimmy Boom def. The Colons
John Morrison def. Santino to win the U.S. Championship
Chris Benoit def. Ric Flair to advance

UP NEXT: Week 2 - Heat

                                MONDAY NIGHT RAW
                                (Dallas, TX)

Tonight in Dallas sees a night of retribution!

                                *** MATCH 1 - Kofi Kingston v. Shawn Michaels ***
In one of 2 rematches from last week, Kofi Kingston and Shawn Michaels square off against each other to redeem last week's match that was ruined by outside interference from Kofi's partner, R-Truth. Shawn Michaels would pick up the victory, but it wasn't without cost. Following the match, R-Truth would come to the ring, accompanied by Jack Swagger, and the duo would proceed to lay out Shawn Michaels and beat him down. Have R-Truth and Jack Swagger formed an alliance together? What does this mean for the tag teams of Kofi Kingston & R-Truth, and Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler?

*** MATCH 2 - FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE / NO DQ
Vladimir Koslov v. Mick Foley ***
Koslov was unhappy about his victory over The Rock last week being tarnished by Foley's interference, and so tonight's contest was made. David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty would make their way ringside before the match would begin, and Koslov would take them out with a flying cross body. However, that wouldn't be enough, as Mick Foley would gain a quick advantage, taking the fight outside the ring. Attacking Koslov with the steel steps, and steel chairs, Foley would finally finish Koslov off with a Double Arm DDT on the outside. After the match, Otunga, McGillicutty, and Foley would all continue the assault on Koslov.

                                *** MATCH 3 - The Miz v. Brock Lesnar ***
Brock Lesnar made his return to the WWE last week in a big way, attacking The Miz after his victory over CM Punk. That would set up tonight's match, which seemed to interest Smackdown's Randy Orton, who made his way to the commentary table and joined Jerry "The King" Lawler and Michael Cole. The Miz would get the win over Lesnar, and is currently on a roll in a big way with back to back victories over the WWE Champion CM Punk as well as a returning Brock Lesnar. Randy Orton wasn't out to just watch, apparently, and after the match he would attack both The Miz and Brock Lesnar.

                                *** MATCH 4 - Franchise408 v. Zack Ryder ***
Officially added to the Raw roster, Franchise408 would take on Zack Ryder in the second rematch from last week, and it would go just as bad for Zack Ryder as it did last week. While greeting fans as he made his way to the ring, Ryder was attacked by Evan Bourne who was hiding out in the crowd. Franchise would continue to pick apart the remains, even attacking Ryder with a chair while the referee was knocked out. After picking up the victory, Evan Bourne would join Franchise408 in the ring. Tossing Ryder to the floor outside, Franchise408 and Evan Bourne would celebrate together. Do we have a new alliance here amongst the ranks of Monday Night Raw? Why has Evan Bourne turned his back on the fans?
