Am i doing something wrong ?

Hey all, please forgive me if this has been asked. I have set up my brands (Raw & Nitro) i put all the superstars i dont want to use on Smackdown since i dont use that brand. So far, everything is good right ?

So heres my issue, I go to edit Raw's titles and change the main title from the WWE Championship to the Unified Championship, but every time i save it, when i look at the rankings, It reverts back to the WWE Championship.

Is this a known issue ?

Is there a work around ?

I love this game, i just want to keep loving it.

Have you tried hitting accept after you change the belts?

lol, yeah. Its so weird.

Like i said, i love the game but it baffles me that the creators of the game didnt see half of the roster having some sort of championship belt as an issue. Especially when you just cant set it up in a simple manner. I change it in the title settings in the options menu but i guess thats only for exhibition because none of the changes i make there have any effect on my universe.

If this issue can be fixed then the game, in my opinion would be perfect.

Go to schedule press X (xbox 360) on the brand you want then there is an option to change the title.

That's what you are forgetting to do. I just did it on mine. You change the belt, you hit accept under the belts, THEN you save.

And you can't eliminate the Smackdown brand as that what it sounds like you are trying to do in your OP. The show Smackdown must have the Smackdown brand.

And to add to what he said, you can change the name of the SD brand to Nitro under edit brand and then change the show name to Nitro by pressing X on the schedule.

So should i add the wrestlers i want to be on Nitro to the smackdown rosters then change the name of the smackdown brand to Nitro ?

It sounds better than what im doing.

Im setting up a showdown between Demolition and The Road Warriors at Wrestlemania.

I also found it annoying that nearly everyone on the roster had some sort of belt.

My workaround was to take a guy that wasn't going to be in my Universe (I think I used Husky Harris) and I gave him all of the belts that I didn't want to use, and then moved him into NXT (with all of the other guys I didn't want in my universe). So he now has like 10 belts or whatever, but at least that way guys like Yoshi Tatsu don't have belts.

What I'm doing about the extra titles is I created 2 plain CAWs and just put masks on them and gave them all the titles and moved them to WCW. If they're ever in matches I'll just edit them out. If they ever are involved with a run-in or cutscene, I figure I can make it into an angle of who were the masked guys that just attacked Cena or something.

WHy when i want to change the Superstars Weds show to ECW does it continue to call it Superstars, is there any way around this? How do you remove shows?

That has to be one of the best ideas i've read.

It's not entirely foolproof though. Just had a remarkable match between HBK & Kofi. Kofi got jumped before the match by one of the masked CAWs and now the match is HBK versus the Masked guy.

I'm actually kind of happy about it though. If the masked CAW wins though I may have to start planning who is under the mask. Maybe Jericho?
