Will this work in universe mode?

Ok, I'm totally clueless about modern wrestling. I just got the game and DLed a bunch of old school wrestlers. I placed all of them in the legends brand and left everybody else in their default brand. Now, I put one guy in the WCW brand alone and gave him every belt (with the exception of tag team belts and three others). My thinking was to have 1 title for each brand. I put all the unlockable wrestlers in the free agent pool.

My question is, will the guy I assigned all the titles to and placed in WCW ever get placed on a card? I don't want him or all the titles to ever come into play. Also, will my legends brand have it's own weekly show? And, do the brands ever interact (I was thinking they did on the PPV cards)?

Sorry for my ignorance. I haven't watched wrestling since the 80's

He nor the title should never come into play, they haven't for me and I did the same thing.

Legends brand does not have it's own weekly show, only Raw and Smackdown can. And yes they interact on PPV's and the occasional regular show.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll just rename the smackdown brand and put all my legends in that and then combine all my default SD wrestlers with RAW.

Then why did Marcus who's been posting over at Caws.ws say that every brand is coded into universe to have random wrestlers show up so no matter where you put a wrestler. That they show up at some point. He also mentioned that it wouldn't be something they could fix in a patch.

I was just speaking from personal experience. I've in March now and I've never had a person from a dead brand show up on my shows.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you have Demolition in free agents. I think we should put the definition of free agent at the top of this forum or remind people of "free agents" from the past in WWE's brand split era.

If it's true that my guy is going to come into play, then I'm screwed. He holds every title but 3. I don't want to start my universe without knowing whether it'll be safe to have him holding all those titles.

I gave Cole all the belts. He's in my divas brand. I never see him. I think the problem is most people started their universe, then moved everyone around and too late! They might already be put into a storyline.

I have a bunch of people in WCW, and they haven't showed up yet. I am about 6 months in.
