Found this forum and everyone here seems to have a solid grasp on this game. I bought it on release day but didn't touch it much until after this patch.
My friends and I have been playing this in the living room since the 2006 game. We use all original CAW's and have our own little federation.
We're big Wrestling fans but hate the modern current era in Wrestling so we really don't want guys like Cena or anyone else showing up in our Universe. It's really frustrating because, not to toot our own horn, we're pretty creative and have a lot of really high quality original CAWs. Seeing Miz vrs Cena or CAW vrs Mysterio every week on RAW is starting to get irritating.
Smackdown and Super Stars is working according to plan, nothing but CAWs. RAW, though, keeps trying to force a WWE wrestler angle despite me putting all of them on a throw away brand. I've deleted all their allies and rivals. I'm about to make them all babyfaces to see if that helps.
Beyond that, has anyone found any tricks to force the game into keeping these people off the shows? The all CAW Universe was the big draw for us for this game. This is really annoying me.
Two weeks ago (In Universe) I decided to just watch Cena vrs Miz to see if it would stop booking them after since it was relentless in that match but instead it had the opposite effect, opening the door for R-Truth and Zack Ryder to sneak on to the show....
Should I continue running these angles in hoping they'll end? How will I know when they end? Is there anything else I can do? I also tried editing those remarkable matches for a month in Universe but it just wouldn't let it go.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
