Had it and traded in ... worth getting again?

I had WWE 12 a few months ago but traded it in b/c with all the other games in my library at the time, I wasn't really playing it much.

Now that I've gotten rid of a few games, I'm thinking of picking this game back up. Are you guys still enjoying the game? With a good set of sliders, are the USER-CPU matches still competitive and do you lose matches? Is Universe Mode still enjoyable?

DJ, I've been playing Universe mode, and I can safely say its the only game mode (since the Shows association) where I have played this far in after the games release. Maybe you've seen my Guide to Universe thread, but I think they're a lot of things you can do to add to the gameplay. As far as difficulty, I've imposed a couple house rules that really don't feel forced, its basically to just not cheese the reversal button.

I'm really enjoying this years game, and IMO, its been one of my favorite sports titles released all of last year.

I'd say the game is a keeper simply for Universe mode. I go through phases with WWE 12. To spice up the game I turned Smackdown into ECW and just used CAWs. I shelved the game and played other things and now I've picked it back up and am actually having some great fueds and matches with the Default guys.

I will have to check that thread out.

It's funny, I have pretty much stopped watching WWE, so I'm not too into the current roster, but I think that is a good thing when it comes to the videogame.

I don't think it's worth picking up again. I admit, I'm only a casual wrestling fan, but this game is pretty boring now. It isn't a bad game overall, but the bad A.I., lack of control, repetitive cut scenes, no talking in universe mode, etc. all add up to this game becoming stale after a few months.

Thank you for being honest. Those are a few of the reasons why I traded the game in originally. I think I'll resist the temptation and hold out for the baseball games on Mar. 6.

I got rid of it and repicked up WWE All Stars. SO SO much better than wwe 12 in the ring. Wish I could get wwe 12 modes with wwe all stars gameplay.

OK, I think I'm going to pick this back up.

I won't have to re-purchase all of the DLC for the game again? I believe that stuff is tied to your profile, correct?
