Getting those knees fixed up in time for Wrestlemania, right?

Thanks for posting Austin's blog. And I thank Austin as well for clearing the air.
Still, I can't help but wonder just how E-P-I-C it would've been to see him answer Slater's challenge!

I hope Austin doesn't come back to fight, whether it's Punk or anyone.

I like the stars of the show to participate in feuds that actually exist WITHIN the show.

Those who are not fully immersed in the product week-in, week-out should not have such a high spot at Wrestlemania.

It's all about business, though. If they feel Austin v (Punk?) is gonna make the most money, that's what they'll do.

Normally I'd agree, but I honestly don't think they have the star power on the active roster right now to put on a worthwhile Wrestlemania without going to the legends well that they went to with The Rock last year.

They have to do things like this. They don't have a choice. And I know you can say "well just build up the guys you have", but it's not that easy. We all love Dolph Ziggler, for example, but he's never going to register on a mainstream level no matter what you do with him. He just isn't.

Especially when Ziggler doesnt get any significant mic time. And when he does he gets insta killed by an irrelevant Jericho the night after he wins the Damn money in the bank. Prior to that, he was on a brogue kick finish spree of like 8 matches involving Sheamus. Its like they were trying to test how bad they can squish Ziggler to see if the Internet Warriors would still be behind him.

That promo he had with Jericho was fantastic. But I bet he doesnt talk on the mic for another 4 (probably more)weeks which is a shame. WWE just hasnt found ways to promote their own guys without destroying them in the process.

I wouldn't be so fast to discount Dolph as a future main event level talent. Most thought Bryan had no chance to reach the top, let alone remain there and cement himself into a top 5 talent in the company.

The Dolph chants have grown larger over the last couple months. There is a reason WWE have brought him along slowly. I'm not saying he will be in one of the main events this year. Come WrestleMania next year, is a completely different story.

Oh, I think Ziggler can and will main event. He can be a star within WWE and the people that watch it religiously.

I just don't think he'll register with the casuals and the more mainstream people that WWE tries to cater to with Wrestlemania. He'll never be Austin, Rock, Cena, Undertaker, HBK, those kinds of megastars.

I think this is the problem with fans who grew up during the Attitude Era. They refuse to let the past go.

Daniel Bryan is slated to face Charlie Sheen at the moment. I hope they have a plan for that man. He spent 3 months putting CM Punk over.

I was very disappointed in how Lesnar was handled last night. At this point, why bring him back as it hasn't amounted to much and he keeps being made to look so weak.

He's not? I don't know. Why not? He's got literally everything. The look, the ability, the charisma, the mic skills, the historical appreciation, etc. At the very least, continue to build the IC title back up again. Make it worth a damn and have these guys carry it on their way to the main event.

I think there's more than enough talent to put on a damn good show without having to overload legends.

I've been back watching Raw for months, but I never watch Smackdown. Is there anything I'm really missing ? I could Always DVR it. Are superstars still relative to certain shows or is it one big product again ?

Doesn't hurt to DVR it. Sometimes you go a long while without anything worth a damn happening, other times it's a decent show.

A bit too much filler, but nothing a fast forward button can't fix.

They did throw in a little sneaky nugget about Rick Rude during their segment. You should watch again when Sandow comes out.
