Re: Hell in a Cell 10/28/12
Him chasing Punk and doing that on the top of the cell was the icing on this **** cake for me. Like oh this is HIAC so um yeah here take this pointless finisher on the top of the cage... The WWE couldnt be more transparent.Comment

Sounds like the E knew they couldn't compete against SNF and the WS, so they just milked the PPV...
They really ought to reconsider their scheduling....Comment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/28/12
Miz vs. Kofi, Diva's Match, and Orton vs. Del Rio all were predictable as hell. RKO out of nowhere, TIP out of nowhere, and sneak the win after Kaitlyn does all the work.
Then they added two bonus matches with no real point and where nothing of note happened.
The non-finish of the tag title match was completely ridiculous for a PPV.
The ref screwjob was about the worst possible ending they could have thought up for the WWE title match (though to their credit the right man walked out with the belt and Ryback blew the roof off the place at the end of the night).
And yeah, I may be biased about Show-Sheamus as I think Sheamus has become my least favorite wrestler in all of wrestling (so I was happy to see him lose). But even that match had a major letdown in the fact that Dolph who said he was going to cash-in didn't even give us a botched attempt. I did love both of Show's KO punches though. I Lol'ed when he grabbed Sheamus' boot, stared at him, and popped him in the face. The side-step right hand was cool as hell too.
Other than those two spots, this PPV was sad as hell.Last edited by Streets; 10-28-2012, 10:10 PM.Comment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/28/12
I didn't mind the finish. It honestly reminded me of some kind of shady crap Hogan and the nWo would have pulled in their prime. My problem was with the match itself. Ryback showed me absolutely nothing to have faith in him being a top bill guy. At least Goldberg tried to do some different stuff. I'm not sure I've even seen Ryback throw a punch, he's all power moves and that's it.
Overall I thought the PPV was average. I enjoyed Miz and Kofi. I actually didn't mind the heavy weight title match. Pretty happy for Big Show to get a real title win and enjoyed the finish to that match. Obviously I hope Show doesn't hold the belt any longer than beating Sheamus in his rematch. Although I really can't think of who they would give that belt to at the moment.
Cesaro needs some kind of direction I'm finding him pretty boring lately.
WWE feels kind of in a lull right now. Can't think of too much I'm excited for. Really feels like they're just treading water until they can get into the Survior Series storylines and then get into Rock and Royal Rumble stuffComment

How did the Punk/The Ryback match end?Comment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/28/12
By the way, I loved him hulking up (he was more Banner than Hogan, angrier he got, deadlier he got). Also appreciated every time he snatched a weapon from Punk, he'd toss it and pound him with his bare hands.
I was marking for THE Ryback tonight.Comment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/28/12
- Meathook clothesline by Ryback
- Ryback hoists Punk up for Shellshock
- As he's marching the ref stops him and starts waving his arms
- Ryback looks confused
- The ref low blows Ryback, who in turn drops Punk
- Punk rolls up Ryback
- The ref fast counts (and actually assists the pin by draping himself across Ryback's legs).
Post-Match:
- Punk and the ref flee and are begging for the door to be opened
- Ryback is on the hunt
- Punk tosses the ref to Ryback
- Ryback destroys the ref while Heyman drags Punk out of the cell
- Ryback sees Punk crawling away, comes out and steps on his back (Heyman books it to the back)
- Ryback destroys Punk some more
- Punk tries to climb the cell to escape Ryback
- Ryback follows and hits Shellshock on top of the cell to a huge ovation
- Ryback stands tall on the cell to close the showComment

Re: Hell in a Cell 10/28/12
Ryback had Punk up for the Shellshock, Brad Maddox stops him, low blows him, does a fast cout WHILE giving a pin assist as well, Punk wins.
After, Ryback kills Maddox and stops Punk from escaping, Punk climbs the cell and takes a Shellshock on the roof.
It's the best possible way they could have ended it since they paint themselves into a corner because of the PPV concept.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

Disagree here. He's a future World Champion for sure.
