I've been having good results. Even wrestlers like Big Show are getting their SPD raised significantly. Yes, he has a high striker and grapple power, but the issue is him being able to connect with it. Plus, the separation in DUR between wrestlers is not big this year, so you have to "adjust" for it.
If we were able to give wrestlers HP below 500, the game would be more sim like. I would still be able to put Big Show with speed of 40 and not worry, because the Santinos would probably have HP (DUR) of 300 or less. Which means after a few hits, they are done.
However, because of this DUR issue, things have to be adjusted. In 10 matches I've had, the "better" wrestler has beaten the "Santino" type wrestler in all 10."Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. Hate that, hate it with all your heart...

Basically, I've approached it as Superstars will be ranked higher in ALL attributes then mid carders. Mid-carders ranked higher in ALL attributes than the "jobbers". This includes increasing the SPD (which I think is very important to getting accurate results). Even though Big Show is "slow" walking, the SPD attribute relevancy is not for his walking, but his MOVES speed...how quick he can strike.
As I've stated previously, the DUR attribute has no affect below 60. Any wrestler below 60 still has HP of 500, even if their DUR was 20. Therefore, you have to "adjust" or "overrate" certain areas to get accurate results. The quicker a wrestler attacks, the faster the damage he applies. This "theory" has been working for me, and I don't see Big Show darting around the ring. I just see him dominating those he should.
For the ratings, I've been using what was posted a few posts up, but I'm using AI reversals at 1-1-1-1.Comment

Ok, I am in on this theory based on Bret Hart finally beating Cesaro and looking like Bret Hart. I ran the match with reversals at 1-1-1-1 and went back to default attributes for both. I the dropped all the attributes we have been talking about, speed included by 10 for Hart and 20 for Cesaro. That would be sp, grp, std, grd, spd, rec, and dur. I left submission where they were and I had a great match ending with the sharp shooter. I think will run some more matches using same theory but it looks good to me.Comment

I am running with default attributes for guys in the game already then lowering the attribute I listed above for superstars but keeping speed up around 80 or higher depending on where they are rated on the game. A.I. Reversal sliders at 1. The human sliders are listed a couple pages back that I use but I only watch CPU v CPU so I don't know that it mattersComment

Don't drop the others too low. But definitely keep the SPD attribute up. Remember, it is not meant for how fast the wrestlers run / walk, but how fast they deliver the moves. And with the DUR issue (anything below 60 is still 500 hp so the separation between wrestlers is very little), you have to adjust for that. So the quicker the attack, the quicker the HP is lowered, etc. And each attack, delivers a high hit point attack depending on the wrestler.Comment

Today, I had a couple of matches where I saw 2-count pinfalls. I didn't do anything special. In the first one, I did my finisher with Big E Langston on Batista, and tried the pin inmediatly. In the second one, the same thing with Lesnar and Ryback.
The funny thing is I tried to pin them again in both matches, and both Batista and Ryback kicked out at 1...Comment

Here is what I have been doing after a ton of testing and I am getting great matches still.
I am re-rating from default rosters. I drop stp, grp, sub, spd rcv, and dur all by 20 points. I drop std and grd by 10 points. I also raised the finisher strength to 10 which is default and have foreign object at 8.
The A.I. Reversals are set to 1-1-1-1 and the last two are maxed out. I set the momentum bar charge speed to slow and either have normal or epic matches. I have been getting really great matches doing this. This is for CPU v CPU.Comment
