THQ never resolved the 1 count glitch. I doubt we see a fix for it seeing the game came out in November and the one patch Ive seen was just for issues with community creations in Universe. Now that 2K has the franchise I doubt they will work on a patch for the game. Sadly we are stuck with the 1 count glitch until 2K14. As for the Excel spreadsheet its the latest version that I am aware of and it does make the game a lot better than the default attributes given to us by THQ.

Maybe, just maybe something is in the works. 2K Aubrey at the 2K site(obviously) has strongly hinted at a patch forthcoming. Plus with 2K now rebranding the game and putting their name on it, it would be good business to do the right thing. I put the shot at about 70% in favor of a patch.Currently Playing:

strike 60
grapple 60
submission 60
speed 70
agility 70
jump 70
All others at 1.
difficulty on legend reverse and adrenaline off blood and weight on
under general everything at 0
damage both at max
AI everything at 10 but finisher and object at 20
This lets the finisher finish the match at around the 10 minute mark give or take a few minutes. I have been having great matches with these settings. It could be different for you as everyone plays differently but this works for me.Comment

Are these for the attributes? If you do it this way, you'll get no separation between wrestlers then, right? If each wrestler has the same attributes, they'll be equal. I'm sure you'll have great matches because of the equality of the wrestlers, but even the Santino's will put up fights in a non-realistic way.
It looks like there will be a patch I hope it fixes the 1 count bug. It is implied on the 2k board. I hope we see the patch soon so we can have a fixed game for a solid 6 months before WWE 14.Last edited by dafilthymofo; 04-10-2013, 09:55 AM.Comment

Ok so I got around to all the attribute edits. R9nald9, I could only do a few of those guys cause I really didn't watch many of them enough to give an accurate representation, sorry about that.
BTW if a superstars attributes are different (ex: say Shaemus has a different strike power in the "ALL" section compared to the "By Category" section, go with the "ALL" section's attributes.Comment

Well i went through all the pages here. Hester i applied your sliders. I edited attributes for Mark Henry and Justin Gabriel. I did a match on legend of course with all settings you use. I was Justin Gabriel. Umm well I totally dominated Mark Henry. I used house rule of only trying to reverse 1 time per grapple. It didnt matter. I demolished him. So i guess im confused? Why would you have Mark Henry only be rated in the 60's ? Not understanding. Could you explain what i need to do or if i did something wrong?
Obviously in my mind this was supposed to be hard to do, but THQ made the game so damn easy that my vision didn't totally work out as I planned. You really have to try not to reverse the "middle" grapple (the one in between the initial grab and the actual move).
All in all, the game is just too easy.Comment

I am still doing cpu v cpu and for the most part getting good matches. The one thing that is driving me crazy is how in every match there is a point where someone jumps out of the ring and pulls out the monitors to put the other guy through the table. Does anyone have any ideas how to keep this from happening every single match? Thanks!Comment

I turned off the RING COUNT and it seemed to alleviate a lot of that outside stuff (announcer table, barriers..). The CPU seems to do those things to always win by countout. So if you turn off the ring count, the CPU has to readjust it's strategy.

So by doing that you still get outside action, just keeps them from trying to hit the move that sends them through the barrier. Gets very old watching them whip each other into the barrier over and over. Also really takes away from a great match when out of nowhere a wrestler decides to jump out of the ring to pull out the monitors, then go back in. Who does that lol?Comment
