Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
If you rate guys to be strong AND last long in matches, they won't be able to be stopped in the game. The 3 main attributes that affect how CPU and User players work are strike/grapple power and durability. So I really tried to only rate guys that are SUPERSTARS like Rock, Cena, Austin, Michaels, Taker, etc to be ELITE in those three ratings categories.
I tried to classify guys as a "striker" or "grappler", and have their ratings mirror that. Guys like Punk and Bryan who use a ton of kicks were labeled as strikers, along with guys like Lesnar and Taker who are big on wearing their opponents down with heavy punches. Grapplers were people like Mark Henry who used their grapple moves to their advantage. If a person was "neither" I just tried to give them equal ratings for both, or very close ratings for both.
So then the balancing act was taking the people by card position and rating them among each other and still letting the mid-to-lower card guys have a chance to beat upper card guys (slim chance in some cases), using all those principles in mind (minus all the other ratings that are a bit more obvious of course.)
Honestly there is little to no difference in the game.
That's another thing I didn't point out. To see the effects of the charisma rating happen in game, they had to be extremely spaced out. Thats why you'll see some guys with the charisma rating REALLY low.
Say I take Undertaker and put him against someone like Hunico. Hunico should take a bit longer to get his finisher IMO, because he is a low card guy. In order to do that from the findings of a few tests, he had to have like a 30 charisma rating.Last edited by UMhester04; 11-09-2012, 05:38 PM.Comment

Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
I ran a Special Referee Match so I had some involvement in the CPU vs CPU match and it was the most boring thing ever. Neither were aggressive. This was Stone Cold vs The Rock with Mankind as the Special Guest Referee.
I got about 10 minutes into it, the most boring match I've ever seen and just wanted it to end. So after calling the entire match down the middle, I hit my finisher on The Rock (he was the closest to me when I got sick of waiting for anything to happen) and quick counted for Austin.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

I had some good ones from last year, but not sure how they will work this year. I'm curious to find some good ones as well.Comment

Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
Used Funkdockta's (and the phenom) sliders and same old story.
I haven't played a wrestling game since SvR 2006. I just rented this from Redbox a couple hours ago and already with these sliders on hard difficulty, I'm able to dominate The Rock (AE) with Justin Gabriel twice. So I bumped the difficulty up to Legend, dominated Stone Cold (AE) with Ted DiBiase. CPU AI is just terrible. There were brief glimpses of momentum swings, but honestly DiBiase and Stone Cold were in role reversal.
I haven't tried the attribute edits because you need Accelerator. Would've bought it, but since the game looks terribad, I think THQ just lost out on my $62. I don't think they would make much difference either way as evenly matched opponents would still be easy wins. I wanted to buy WWE bad this year and get into everything, but what am I supposed to do? The CPU is **** offline, and everyone does the same thing online. I'm more of an offline gamer now anyways so I don't think playing the same 6 people from here over and over again everyday would be much fun.
Looks like THQ just invested my $60 in either Halo 4 or Black Ops II.Comment

Ah wow I must have missed the bossman and McIntyre and I dont usually use the divas. You can honestly just take a look at some of the ratings and gauge where they would rank at for each category (ex: what superstar is he similar with in different ratings categories) and just rate him yourself, but I am real busy with school stuff today and won't rate him till tomorrow probably."Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
Sure, I wanted to achieve two things: a more spread out ratings system (making players feel like they have advantages and disadvantages), and balance. In the case of Shaemus and Daniel Bryan, Shaemus' strike and grapple power are both higher than Bryans (by ten points each). Since a guy like Bryan is a main event player, he needs to have a chance to win against these bigger guys that are stronger than him. This is why you will see smaller guys that are quicker, and depending on where they sit on the card (main event, mid card, etc) their durability will be higher than normal.
If you rate guys to be strong AND last long in matches, they won't be able to be stopped in the game. Re: WWE 13 Slider Thread
To be completely honest I have never even seen a Drew McIntyre match before, so I wouldn't even know where to begin. I will do Bossman tonight for sure. Is there anyone else that I haven't listed that you need done?
I will be yeah. I haven't really touched the game lately because I am kinda waiting for them to patch the 1 count problem, but idk how much longer I can wait, im itching to get back to playing. I did download some CAWS last night that I will post in the Community Creations thread because some of them were really well done. Off the top of my head I downloaded Goldberg, Scott Hall, Mosh, Thrasher, Bob Holly, D-Lo Brown and a few others. These should be done probably tonight, but if not then I will get to them during the week.
Is there someone you wanted me to do? I can't guarantee I will know how to do that person (I don't really know many people from WCW or anything like that), but still if you throw out some names then I may know some of them.Comment

Just Bossman is missing from the ppl on the game. I don't download caps so I just roll with whomever is on the game. Thanks!"Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. Hate that, hate it with all your heart...

For whatever reason, I keep getting an error message when I try to open this file. Doesn't make any sense. Same thing happens when I try to save it and open it too. Sucks.Comment

Open the first file he posted. That one worked for me."Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. Hate that, hate it with all your heart...
