Re: WWE 13 Community Creations Thread
I really wish people would either just cop to not creating a moveset in their descriptions or just take the time to at least fill in the major moves.
I had downloaded a "surfer" Sting awhile back and couldn't figure out why he never went for his sharpshooter finisher. Of course, it turned out his moveset was completely generic. I should have checked this earlier but how is it someone goes through all the trouble of creating the details in the appearance but then can't be bothered to put in at least his signature moves?Comment

Re: WWE 13 Community Creations Thread
The creators may be good at making a great CAW, but know little about the moves.
Maybe what you say is true but it makes no sense to me if it is. Not to mention that a quick internet search will solve that anyway. Maybe it's just me, but I think of a CAW as both the moves AND appearance...
I don't mind putting in the time to input the moves, just give me the head's up on what's what."It's all in the reflexes." - Jack BurtonComment

Re: WWE 13 Community Creations Thread
Once I figured it out, sure. Like I said, it would have helped if the creator had simply said they hadn't put in a moveset.
Again, if the creator had simply said, "no moveset" in the description, fine.

Soon as I get home from work Im going to give The Hulk a better move set!
I understand why people wouldnt though, the moveset takes the most amount of time out of creating the whole CAW (atleast IMO).
Everytime I think Im leaving noobville, something like this happens lol.Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment

Re: WWE 13 Community Creations Thread
You end up 'saving' the move-set over top of your wrestler. It will look like a screen similar to the wrestler DL (which shows your 50 slots on 5 different pages). Except this will allow you to use bumper buttons to select CAWS, Downloaded Superstars (DDP, rikishi, etc), or Superstars (out-of-box ingame wrestlers).
Just save the moveset over top of the wrestler. You can't really 'stock up' on move-sets, since there's no way to save them without applying to an existing wrestler. You COULD also save to an default SS, temporarily, since you can always set a Default SS back to his/her Default moveset. This way you can preserve a moveset - by giving it to a SS you don't use. Then you could copy that moveset to another SS (within the game, NOT manually).
Tip o' the day: (Pending THQ Server stability...of course)...if you view the CAW, it will show the Finishers names. Get your red flag ready when you see DDT as both Finishers. You can't see the whole move-set, but you can see if they added Finishers. Chances are, unless you are downloading Jake the Snake, that guy is likely NOT a DDT master (Finishers as DDT). If it has a cool name as a finisher...then that's a bonus...that means they used a CAF...so they 'may' be more apt to have all the features of a CAW.
After a while downloading, and visiting some CAW sites, you'll figure out the creators you can bank on.
Hope that helps some.
***oh one more thing....last year something was happening to the Servers and it was stripping movesets from CAWS uploaded. It reverted them back to the DDT finishers. So, it 'may' not be something the uploader can control. I haven't heard of that happening with wwe13 tho.Last edited by BLA7E; 12-03-2012, 07:33 PM.Comment
