Choppiness during gameplay...PS3 version

Anybody noticing any slowdown while playing this years game? The game seems to slow down at certain times during a match. Now I had the 360 version last year but my Xbox broke and I don't remember seeing any slowdown like this during last years version. Any fellow Xbox users care to chime in and let us know if there's any noticeable slowdown?

I have it for the PS3, and I don't notice any slowdown that isn't intentional.

Unless you're talking about online, then that's expected with connections.

Yeah I notice it sometimes but it doesn't take too much away from gameplay for me.

I think you're confusing it with the intentional slowdowns during moves. It adds to weight immerson to me but I did think the same thing at first but now its appearant it is intentional.

No there are some instances where it really is slowdown. I know this because it happened during a Ziggler vs Jericho match. It really only happens once a match MAYBE which is why it really isn't a big deal.

The only slowdown I've experienced is during the camera cuts for bigger moves. Never from the standard camera. Doesn't bother me since it's during cuts (thus an animation is playing out) - but I'd be pretty annoyed if it happened during moments where I needed instant control.

Are others having it during the standard cam, or is everyone having it on camera cuts only? If it bothers you, the easy fix is to disable camera cuts until they (hopefully) address it.

Not that this is related, but my friend was having issues with Madden 13 where after snapping the ball there was a slight 1-2 second freeze. This was happening on the old 60gb PS3. Not sure if some of these newer games are now having issues with the older hardware or not.

I dont have any problems with any other games, mine is even refurbished...but still the slowdowns don't bother me much.

My Dear Friend, the freezing came on the old 60gig launch unit with a non stock hard drive. I'm using a 500gig 5400rpm drive.

So the question to those with slowdown, are you using a non-stock hard drive?
