Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

    April Week 2

    WWE Monday Night RAW

    Highlights

The Million Dollar Corporation was in the ring to open the show talking about how they had all of the titles in WWE except for one. Ted Dibiase said it would be unfair for him to challenge for the WWE Championship since he already was ½ of the Tag Team Champions and the self proclaimed “Million Dollar Champion”. His question to the audience was, does he allow one of the other two members to challenge or bring in a fourth member so that they have a complete monopoly over the WWE. At this point, WWE Champion Randy Savage makes his way to the ramp waving his finger no. In that distinct Macho Man tone he says, “OOHHHHH YEEEAAAHH Teddy!! You see Teddy, you can’t just come out here and start making challenges. You have to earn your spot at the top…not buy your way there. Vince McMahon has already announced that the number one contender’s match for tonight will be the Ultimate Warrior vs. the Undertaker so it looks like you’re on the outside looking in DIG IT!! I do have a proposition for you though ooooohhh yeeeaaaahhh!!! How about you and your other goons face me and two partners in a Six Man Tag Tonight!!” Dibiase laughs maniacally. “Who in their right mind would team with you??” At that moment, none other and Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard make their debuts in the WWE! Mr. Perfect grabs the mic and shouts, “WE ACCEPT!!”, as we go to commercial.

    Six Man Tag

Randy Savage and the Brainbusters d. the Million Dollar Corporation

The Hart Foundation vs. Shawn Michaels in a Handicap Match

The Hart’s put a beating on Shawn Michaels and took an easy victory. After the match, they attempted to decimate him with chairs and Marty Jannetty made yet another save. For RAW next week it will be The Hart Foundation vs…..THE ROCKERS!!

    Loser Leaves WWE match

    Vader vs. Razor Ramon

Vader had the early advantage in this match. Razor countered a Vader Bomb leaving the Mastodon reeling. Razor was then able to drop the big man with the Razor’s Edge for the 1..2…3. Vader waved goodbye to the WWE on his way up the ramp.

Number One Contender for the WWE Championship

    Ultimate Warrior vs. the Undertaker

The Undertaker wins in decisive fashion. Post match, Savage shows up on the ramp clapping and pointing to the Undertaker. It looks like it will be these two at ONE NIGHT ONLY for the title.

    Rumor Mill

Could Andre the Giant be headed towards retirement?? We haven’t heard too much from the enormous Frenchmen since his WrestleMania loss to Hulk Hogan. Some say he is nursing injuries while others say he is in the midst of a contract dispute. What ever the case may be, I hope to see Andre back in the ring sooner rather than later.

Speaking of the Hulkster, we haven’t seen him since Wrestlemania either. His contract is due to expire in August of this year, right after SummerSlam. Will Hulk resign with the WWE or could he be open to exploring his options elsewhere? Only time will tell.

Workaround.. I stopped using custom arenas.

      If it's not that, I don't know.
PS3 and using custom superstars but I think I got rid of the custom arenas awhile back. I'll go in and recheck, hopefully that's it and I forgot to ditch one or two. Thanks!

          RAW
Test d Steven Richards to become new European champion

All night Vince has been threatening the WWF superstars with suspensions if they accept Shane's offer of facing Vince at WrestleMania; he even threatened Crash Holly!
At the end of the night, Vince taunts Shane, saying no one will have the grapefruits to face him. Shane says there is one person who will stop at nothing to get his hands on Vince; that man is...Bret Hart! Bret appears on stage with Shane and Vince looks like he has just seen a ghost.

          Smackdown!
In a #1 Contender's match for the Tag Team titles, Hardy Boyz d Kaientai

          Week 2
          Raw
Vince stands in the ring and says since Bret has not appeared in a ring for a while, he needs to shake off the rust. The best way to do this is in a handicap match: Bret Hart vs Edge & Christian
Edge & Christian vs Bret Hart: Bret puts up a tough fight but 2 on 1 is just too much. Vince appears on stage after the match with a content look on his face

          Smackdown!
Triple H says he has beaten everyone in the WWF; Undertaker appears and says he hasn't beaten him; match between the two made at WrestleMania 17.

          Week 3
          Raw
Vince says he will give Bret another chance against E & C; but to further sharpen Bret's skills, he includes the Big Show against Bret. Vince says no one will dare to team with Bret; Hardy Boyz appear and say they will partner with Bret.
Bret & Hardyz vs Edge, Christian, & Big Show: Vince's interference is nullified when Shane shows up and takes out Vince. Bret & the Hardyz pick up the win.

          Week 4
          Raw
It is announced the Bret/Vince match will be No DQ

In a preview of WrestleMania 17, The Rock & HHH d Undertaker & Stone Cold.

          Smackdown!

          Singles
          Undertaker d HHH
          No DQ Match
          Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon
Bret, as expected, dominated the majority of the match. Bret put Vince in the Sharpshooter and Vince was ready to tap when a masked man attacked Bret. The man hit a piledriver on Bret, allowing Vince to get the pin. The man took off his mask and it was...
          Owen Hart!
          Hardcore Title
Big Show d Kane & Steve Blackman (c)
          WWF Championship
Stone Cold d The Rock (c)
The match and the result played out the same as what happened in real life (Stone Cold aligns himself with Vince)

I know this is t the thread to ask, but I don't want to make a thread.

Is '14 look like a good game? What additions have they made since '12? '12 was the last game I played and I loved the story mode and universe mode. I want to play universe mode on '14 and share my universe with you all. I had a great realistic universe in '12. When somebody got released/wasn't in WWE anymore, I would repackage them into huge title contenders. Like in WWE '14 I would probably make Ted DiBiase a huge main eventer.

I was hoping to get back into a '13 universe, might have posted it here. But I might end up just waiting for 2K14. I think this time around I'll have a mix of retro and current guys, should be fun.

The match lasted 15mins both men put up a good match till Randy wins after RKOing Sandow and then escaping the cage door. Was a good match very close.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

I've been on a bit of a hiatus because I was out of town for a few weeks due to work. I'm back and I have a long weekend so it's time to get back to the Universe. My long-term intention is to get to an appropriate point (I have an overall story in mind) where I can easily transition into 2K14, which I have now pre-ordered. This Universe exists in an alternate reality comprised of some of the best of all ages. While I have utilized some wrestlers from the past (Hogan, Flair, Savage, etc.), I intend to utilize more of them more frequently. This will consequently result in a likely decreased usage of some of the newer modern characters. I don't follow WWF/E anymore so I don't really know who anyone is. I've only picked up on their gimmicks and idiosyncrasies from the game and the internet. I'm currently working over how I will make it go. Any way... it's time to preview King of the Ring.

                      Intercontinental Championship

                      King of the Ring Semi-Finals

                      Tag-Team Championship

                      King of the Ring Semi-Finals

                      Diva's Championship

                      United States Championship

                      World Heavyweight Championship

                      I-Quit Grudge Match

                      King of the Ring Finals
                      Jeff Hardy/Sycho Sid v. Bret Hart/Daniel Bryan

                      WWE Championship

                      Results to be posted tomorrow.
The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.

WWE Presents: No Way Out 2008

Six Man Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship: Ric Flair (c) vs. Santino Marella vs. Chuck Palumbo vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Carlito.

In an arguably thrown together match, Ric Flair defended his Intercontinental Championship for the first time, against five other superstars. Ric Flair eliminated his rival Santino Marella as Shawn Michaels superkicked Chuck Palumbo over the top rope. Flair and Michaels worked together to eliminate Jeff Hardy, and then Flair clotheslined Carlito over the top rope.

With Carlito's elimination, the match came down to the champion, Flair, and Shawn Michaels. The two former WWE Champions went back and forth, with several near eliminations. The end of the match came when Ric Flair ducked a Sweet Chin Music, and clotheslined Michaels over the top rope. In a controversial call, both Flair and Michaels went over the top rope. The referee ruled that Michaels' feet hit the floor first, but Flair's feet also contacted the floor. Michaels was visibly frustrated, but shook Flair's hand and walked away. Ric Flair retains Intercontinental Championship.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Hardcore Rhodes (Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly) (c) vs. Rekking Cryme (Tyler Reks and JTG, with Shad)

Rhodes and Holly have fended off competition for months, defeating all challengers for their championships. Tyler Reks and JTG recently formed this new stable, which has been unstoppable. Later in the night, Cody Rhodes would have to defend his United States Championship against Ted Dibiase.

This match was an instant classic, full of great tag team wrestling. The shocking end came when Tyler Reks hit the Burning Hammer on Cody Rhodes for the win. Tyler Reks and JTG win the WWE Tag Team Championship. After the match, Hardcore Holly walked out on his partner Rhodes.

World Tag Team Championship: World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) vs. Mercury and Nitro

In another thrown together match, the World's Greatest Tag Team defended their championship against Mercury and Nitro. This match was even better than the last, with several finishers and near falls. The end came when Benjamin hit Paydirt on Mercury, but Nitro hit the Moonlight Drive on Charlie Haas for the win. Mercury and Nitro win the World Tag Team Championship.

World Heavyweight Championship Special Referee Extreme Rules: Rey Mysterio (c) vs. The Big Show; referee Edge

In the first main event of the evening, Rey Mysterio defended his World Heavyweight Championship against the man he defeated for it, the Big Show. Mysterio cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Big Show at the Royal Rumble after Edge attacked Big Show, after Big Show defeated Edge to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. The former "bad guy or heel" Edge has been a hero the past few weeks, saving Rey from attacks from Big Show and Mark Henry.

This match was an extreme rules match, and both competitors capitalized. Big Show suplexed Rey Mysterio onto a kendo stick in a sickening moment. Big Show punished Rey all match long, beating Rey with a crutch and repeatedly throwing Mysterio into the steel stairs. Rey used the "the bigger they are, the harder they fall" mindset, hitting a hurricanrana on Big Show through a trash can. As if that was not enough, Rey hit a DDT on the Big Show, on the steel stairs. Big Show was not down and out, though, hitting a Knockout Punch outside the ring. If he had hit the move in the ring, the match would have been over. Yet Big Show took too long to get Rey back in the ring and pin him, as Rey kicked out.

Edge was being a fair referee, calling the match down the middle. Big Show clearly wanted to punish and destroy Mysterio, attacking the champion with steel stairs. Always resilient, Rey Myserio fought on. Rey angered and disrespected Big Show, throwing a soda in the giant's face. A drop kick sent Big Show into the barricade, and Rey hit a Bronco Buster on the outside. The end of the match came when Rey Mysterio counted a Chokeslam into a 619. Rey had the match won, as he went for the springboard splash. However, in a heinous and shocking display, the referee Edge speared Rey Mysterio in mid air in a sicking spot. Big Show covered Rey Mysterio, and Edge counted the pin, 1-2-3. Big Show regains/wins the World Heavyweight Championship.

After the match, to prove he was on no one's side, Edge dropped the new World Heavyweight Champion Big Show with a Spear. To add insult to injury, Edge hit the Con-Chair-To on Rey. Edge cost Rey the World Heavyweight Championship.

Last Chance United States Championship Falls Count Anywhere: Cody Rhodes(c) vs. Ted Dibiase

Rhodes and Dibiase have been feuding since January over the United States Championship. Rhodes just barely defeated Dibiase at the Royal Rumble to retain the championship, but Ted Dibiase has earned a rematch in a falls count anywhere stipulation. It was announced that if Dibiase lost, he would not have another chance at the United States Championship for as long as Rhodes is champion. Earlier in the night, Rhodes lost his Tag Team Championship to Tyler Reks and JTG.

As expected, the two young stars put on an amazing, five star match. The two went toe-to-toe, with several near pin falls. In a cool spot, Dibiase hit a snake eyes into his signature spine-buster. Rhodes escaped the Million Dollar Dream submission, the hold that nearly cost him the championship at the Rumble. Rhodes dodged a top-rope fist drop, and hit the Cross Rhodes. Dibiase rolled out of the ring, but (as the match was a falls count anywhere match) Rhodes attempted the pin. Dibiase kicked out, and the match continued.

Rhodes hit a Silver Spoon DDT on the floor, busting Ted open. Rhodes went for a springboard kick, but Ted threw the referee into harm's way. Rhodes inadvertently kicked the referee, who fell unconscious. A double clothesline put both men down. Hardcore Holly, Rhodes' partner that walked out on him after Rhodes was pinned in their title defense, came to the ring. Holly grabbed a chair, and looked like he was aiming to take out Dibiase as both Ted and Cody make it back to their feet. Instead, Hardcore Holly laid out his partner with a sickening chair shot to the head. Holly turned on his partner, hitting an Alabama Slam on Rhodes onto a steel chair. Ted went for the pin as Holly woke up the referee. The groggy referee counted the pin, 1-2-3. Ted Dibiase won the United States Championship, due to Hardcore Holly stabbing his partner Cody Rhodes in the back.

#1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 24 Elimination Chamber: Domino vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Bobby Lashley vs. JBL vs. Mark Henry vs. Undertaker

Domino was been on fire, defeating then-World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio in Smackdown a few weeks ago, and sporting a new look, ditching his 70's greaser look for a more modern greaser attire, and actually wears ring trunks now. Domino started the match with Mr. Kennedy, as the two went back and forth. After Lashley and JBL entered the match, the Elimination Chamber broke into two mini-matches: Domino vs. Kennedy and Lashley vs. JBL. Mark Henry entered the match, and all five competitors went to war in a free for all. Undertaker entered the match last, and went on a tear. The Dead Man hit a Tombstone on Kennedy, eliminating the loud mouth.

Domino gave it his all, reversing a Tombstone and a World's Strongest Slam. Two Tombstones from Undertaker eliminated Bobby Lashley. Two more Tombstones eliminated Mark Henry, giving Undertaker his third elimination. The match came down to JBL, Undertaker and shockingly Domino. Domino countered another Tombstone, and then JBL kicked out of a Tombstone from Undertaker. JBL somehow power-bombed Undertaker, but the phenom kicked out. Undertaker chokeslammed JBL, who also kicked out. A Clothesline From Hell shockingly eliminated the Undertaker. The match came down to JBL and somehow Domino, who had mostly been avoiding action in the match. JBL, the former WWE Champion, quickly dispatched Domino with a Clothesline From Hell. A bloody mess, JBL won the Elimnation Chmaber and the right to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 24.

WWE Championship Elimination Chamber: Chris Masters vs. Umaga vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. John Cena (c) vs. Kane

Masters and Umaga were riding a lot of momentum and started the match. Once Jericho and Orton entered, the match became a four man brawl. Orton escaped the Walls of Jericho, but was hit with a Codebreaker and eliminated. The champion Cena fought Jericho while Masters and Umaga exchanged power moves. Finshers were scored all around, but no man was eliminated aside from Orton. Kane entered the match last, and immediately targeted the champion Cena. Cena kicked out of a Chokeslam, and was hit with another Chokeslam after Kane countered the FU. Somehow, the WWE Champion Cena kicked out. Jericho finished the job, hitting a Codebreaker on Cena, eliminating the champion. We would have a new WWE champion.

Shockingly, Chris Masters made Umaga submit to the Masterlock. The match was down to Jericho, Masters and Kane, and the winner would become the new WWE champion.Appallingly, Masters rolled up Jericho and eliminated the former WWE champion. The match was down to Kane and Chris Masters. Could Masters shock the world and win the WWE Championship? The answer was no; Kane hit the Tombstone, paying homage to his brother the Undertaker, on Masters for the win. Kane wins the WWE Championship.

Two Walls of Jericho's were not enough to make Ziggler submit. Out of desperation, Jericho struck Ziggler with a chair. Winner, by disqualification, Dolph Ziggler.

Chaos. Madness. These two monsters of the ring collided and it was a slugfest. Goldberg has never had such a serious contender for his title before. Ryback brought everything to the ring, but Goldberg absorbed attack after attack. THREE Shellshocks later, and we have a new champion. Winner, by pinfall, and NEW United States Champion, Ryback.

The CPU involved these two in a feud all on its own and it has culminated in this. It was a slugfest, but HHH dominated large portions of it. He finished it off with a Pedigree outside, multiple chair shots, and an OMG moment through the guard barrier. Winner, by "I Quit"," Triple H.

The biggest upset in the Universe’s history. The Undertaker had the match well in hand until Rhodes mounted a comeback, complete with a DDT through the announcer’s table. He hit his finisher, scored the pin, and became the new champion much to the shock of pretty much everyone. After the match ended, Rhodes celebrated, only to get jumped by Kevin Nash. Nash hit him with the title and left the ring. Winner, by pinfall, and NEW World Heavyweight Champion, Cody Rhodes.

This was speed vs. technical mastery, and The Hitman's in-ring experience and skill proved to be too much for Jeff Hard to come up against. After Hardy botched an air attack, Hart hit the Sharpshooter and forced him to submit. Winner, by pinfall, and the new King of the Ring, Bret "The Hitman" Hart.

Edge and Punk's mini-battles over the past month have been fantastic, but it was bound to come to a head at KotR. The format didn't lend itself to either superstar's advantage necessarily, considering Edge's history with TLC matches and Punk's with MITB. In the end, CM Punk managed to plant the GTS on Edge and secure his title for the retain. Winner, by title recovery, and STILL WWE Champion, CM Punk!

                                April Week 3

                                WWE Monday Night RAW

                                Highlights

“Hello and welcome to Monday Night RAW!! We are here live in Los Angeles, California! I’m Jim Ross alongside Jerry the King Lawler and tonight promises to be a star studded affair.” Just then, Hulk Hogan’s ‘Real American’ theme blasts throughout the arena and the crowd is on their feet. This is the first time we’ve seen the Hulkster since WrestleMania 3 weeks ago. “It’s great to be back in a WWE ring BROTHER! You’re all probably wondering where I have been for the past 3 weeks. To be quite honest dudes, the Hulkster just needed some rest. When you go against someone that is the size of Andre the Giant, it takes a lot out of you brother. I am nursing some injuries at the moment and I haven’t been cleared to compete just yet, but don’t worry Hulkamaniacs, I will continue to say my prayers, drink my milk, and eat my vitamins!! The whole locker room better be on lookout because soon, Hulkamania will be running wild on youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!” Commercial.

                                Yokozuna d. Razor Ramon

Nothing of major note with this match other than it appears that Intercontinental Champion, Mr. Perfect, has taken notice of these two competitors.

The Rockers d. The Hart Foundation

The Rockers are once again a tag team in the WWE! After a tumultuous year last year which saw Marty Jannetty leave the WWE and Shawn Michaels behind, he has since returned to aid his former best friend in this war with Bret and Owen Hart. The Rockers didn’t miss a beat quickly scoring on some classic double team maneuvers. Things got out of hand a few times with the referee almost completing a 5 count on each team. The Rockers pulled away with a clean victory after a double superkick on Owen. After the match, the crowd was in a frenzy as the Rockers celebrated on the turnbuckles.

The Million Dollar Corporation d. The Brainbusters

Ted Dibiase and IRS pick up a sneaky victory after a distraction by Mr. Perfect. Tired of their shenanigans, WWE Commissioner Vince McMahon said that Dibiase and IRS will be defending the Tag Team Championships against the Brianbusters at the One Night Only PPV!!

                                Grudge Match

#1 Contender The Undertaker vs. The Ultimate Warrior

WWE Champion Randy Savage decided to take this one in at ringside. The two combatants went back and forth for a bit with the action spilling to the outside of the ring. The Undertaker got in the champ’s face briefly before Savage walked away. This gave the Warrior a brief comeback before the Undertaker dropped him with the Tombstone Piledriver. Following the match the Undertaker simply had this to say, “ Come One Night Only, Randy Savage will REST…..IN…..PEACE!!!

                                Rumor Mill

Vader gone from WWE. After last weeks ‘Loser leaves WWE match”, it would appear that Vader is in fact gone from the WWE. Sources have confirmed that he will indeed be signing with World Championship Wrestling and possibly be debuting at a WCW live event this weekend.

WCW Nitro?? This rumor is about 95% confirmed that come July, WCW will begin airing ‘WCW Tuesday Nitro’ on the TNT network at 9pm. This is a huge move for the fledgling promotion as this could end up being an alternative to WWE. Stay tuned!

Is Hulk Hogan REALLY injured?? Many seem to think that Hulk Hogan is not really as injured as he appeared to be on RAW Monday Night. It’s possible that WWE put him on TV to quiet the rumors that his contract expires in August but no one could be sure. I have it on good authority that Hogan could be involved in a MAJOR storyline as soon as the RAW following One Night Only. Take this one with a grain of salt.
