    June | Week 4

    PREVIEW
    CAPITOL PUNISHMENT

    WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
    Hell In A Cell Match
Stone Cold Steve Austin (C) v. Bret Hart
After Austin defeated Bret Hart in an I Quit Match at Over The Limit, the challenger wanted one more shot at Austin's title, this time in Hell In A Cell. Austin accepted the rematch with a Stone Cold Stunner, and Austin and Hart have been going at each other in recent weeks leading up to this brutal match. This match should settle this feud once and for all.

    Dolph Ziggler v. Kane
Ziggler decided to get himself involved in the internal matters of Team Hell No, and caught a Chokeslam for his troubles. Ziggler and Kane will be able to take out their aggressions on each other in this grudge match.

    Extreme Rules
    CM Punk v. Mankind
CM Punk has aligned himself with Brock Lesnar in an alliance of "Paul Heyman guys", and their first targets were The Rock and Mankind. With Brock Lesnar facing off for the WWE Championship later in the night, CM Punk gets his wish, a match against Mankind.

    WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
    Kharma (C) v. Lita
After winning the Divas Championship, Kharma replaced the Divas belt by bringing back the old Women's Championship, and sending the Divas Championship down to NXT. This will be the first title match of the new Women's Championship.

    WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
    Ladder Match
The Miz (C) v. Shawn Michaels
The past couple months, The Miz has been feuding with everyone in DX. With title defenses against Mike Tyson and X-Pac, The Miz moved on to the big dogs, calling out Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Shawn Michaels gets the call in this matchup, in a match that he made famous, the Ladder Match. Has The Miz finally met his match? Or will his recent streak carry him to another successful title defense?

The Corporation (Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon) v. Team Laurinaitis (John Laurinaitis, David Otunga, Eve)
The power struggle the past couple months between the McMahons and John Laurinaitis has resulted in Shane McMahon becoming the United States Champion after defeating David Otunga at Over The Limit. This feud comes to its conclusion at Capitol Punishment.

    WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
    Table Match
The Rock (C) v. Brock Lesnar
This feud has gotten very personal in recent weeks, with the alliance between Brock Lesnar and CM Punk making a point to target The Rock and Mankind. A normal title match wasn't enough for this rivalry's intensity, this feud can only be determined after bodies have been battered and destroyed.

Here I am thinking my rosters are too big! I was thinking about cutting them down (WCW - 56, RAW - 52)

I have 2 Majors (Nitro, Raw is War) and 4 Minors (NXT, Starrcade, Smackdwon, & Thunder)

Good to know someone else is having fun with the huge rosters!

Mine was going really good but i am thinking about restarting. I will take out guys like Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan, and other CAWs from the past, take out the Divas, and get a few more CAWs from NXT guys and start up a Raw (Now Guys), WCW (NXT), Smackdown! (AE guys). I think it'll be fun adding in the younger guys and see who goes on to be the big champs and stuff and get "called up" to the main TV shows.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

Had a lot of fun with my universe last night!

I know Im late to the party, but downloading WCW arenas really gives the feeling of 2 seperate rosters.

Mark Henry (current) WCW Champ, lost in a Hell in Cell match to Goldberg and now Im going to start a fued for the WCW championship between the two. The following week Ken Shamrock beat Mark Henry up so now I have 3 way fued for the WCW Belt

The Rock 99' is the current World Heavyweight Champ (overall champ of both rosters) and him and Stone Cold have been getting into lately! So at Hell in a Cell PPV (end of the week) I'll probably scheduel 1 on 1 for the belt.

CM Punk is the WWF Champ, I dont forsee him losing that title anytime soon (at the moment)

Road Warriors - Tag Team champs, but they have been getting into it with The Brothers of Destruction (Im going to add Vader to them as well) so on the next Raw is War Im going to have them do a Extreme Rules Tornado Tag match for the belts.

Azrael (CAW) - Womens Champion, but she just lost to Chyna on Starrcade last night (Chyna kicked her ) so her reign may be coming to an end!

          ----------Unofficial Belts----------

Booker T - US Champ, almost lost his belt to Lesnar on Nitro but reversed a F5 for the win

          Undertaker (oldschool) - IC champ

          Dude Love - Hardcore Champ

Chris Jericho (old school)- Cruiserweight Champ

Having a ball with this setup, a few cut scenes mixed with alot of imagination (about feuds and alliances).

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

Hey Fellas I have a question,

I want to change the title of the World Heavyweight Championship belt to The Undisputed (or Combined/Overall/etc) World Heavyweight Championship belt.

I know theres already a Undisputed belt but I dont like the look of that one, it looks kinda cheap and phony. Plus I wanted to change the Undisputed belt to the WWF Championship belt (no heavyweight or anything), Also change the name of WCW belt as well.

I know I could probably do this in Creat-a-Belt but I wanted to know for sure.

              June | Week 4
              Capitol Punishment

              WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
              Hell In A Cell Match
Stone Cold Steve Austin (C) def. Bret Hart
The match spilled to the outside of the ring immediately, with Austin and Hart using the cage as a weapon. Both men took the fight back into the ring, where they put on a bit of a technical display, until the match spilled outside the ring for a second time. After Austin hit Bret Hart with a Stunner outside the ring, he put the challenger back in the ring where the match continued. After the match spilled to the outside for a 3rd time, the majority of the match would remain out there, with Austin suplexing Hart through the cage wall. After fighting outside the cage, both men using the cell as a weapon against the other, Bret Hart began to climb the cage. Austin followed, at the 2 men fought at the top of the cell until Austin threw Bret Hart from the top of the cage to the floor below. Surprisingly, Bret Hart still had some fight left in him, and the 2 men would brawl their way back into the ring. Austin hit Bret Hart with a Stunner, but instead of going for the pin, he set up for a 2nd straight Stunner. Instead, Hart reversed it. Once Austin got the upper hand again, he would grab the steel steps from outside the ring, and set them up in the middle of the ring. Bret Hart continued to fight back, locking in the Sharpshooter on Austin, but Austin was able to break the hold. The fight continued, with Hart getting the Sharpshooter a second time, but once again, Austin was able to break the hold. He sent Bret Hart to the turnbuckle, and superplexed him off the top rope onto the steel steps that sat in the middle of the ring. As Hart slowly got back to his feet, Austin greeted him with another Stone Cold Stunner, this one finishing the match with a 3 count and Austin retaining the World Heavyweight Championship.

Dolph Ziggler def. Kane via count out
This match came about when Ziggler decided to get himself involved in the business of Team Hell No on Raw. A competitive match came to an end when Dolph Ziggler crashed Kane through the barricade outside the ring. Getting back into the ring, Ziggler showed why he's the Show Off, posing and taunting as the referee made the 10 count, giving the victory to Ziggler.

              Extreme Rules
              Mankind def. CM Punk
CM Punk went for the Anaconda Vice immediately to begin the match. Mankind broke the hold, but a tone was set that Punk was coming to inflict pain. If there's one thing Mick Foley is good at, it is absorbing punishment. He'd absorb a lot more, as the match spilled outside the ring, CM Punk immediately speared Mick Foley through the ringside barricade. The match continued outside the ring, with weapons finally coming out and into play. CM Punk would grab an audience member's crutch, as well as grab a mop from underneath the ring. Punk took the upper hand in the match after cracking the mop over Foley's skull. The violence continued in the ring, seeing CM Punk put Mankind through a table propped up against the turnbuckle. After getting back up, Mankind went outside the ring and pulled a 2nd table from under the ring, which he set up inside the ring and lit on fire. The 2 men battled back and forth around the burning table, until Mankind finally tossed Punk through the table as it burned. Mankind followed up with a Mandible Claw that would end the match.

              WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
              Kharma (C) def. Lita

              WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
              Ladder Match
The Miz (C) def. Shawn Michaels
The Heartbreak Kid started the match with Sweet Chin Music from the opening bell. Miz made a near comeback early in the match, climbing to the top of the ladder following a Skull Crushing Finale. With his hands on the belt, it appeared as though Miz was going to get an early victory, but Michaels was able to topple the ladder just before Miz could get the belt undone. As the match spilled outside the ring, a bloodied Michaels busted The Miz open with more Sweet Chin Music. Back in the ring, The Miz set up the ladder again underneath the belt, and leaned a second one against it. As Michaels climbed to the top, Miz ran up the 2nd ladder. Michaels lost his footing, falling to the floor, and Miz leaped off the top of the ladder, doing a running elbow drop from the top of the ladder onto Michaels below. After laying Michaels out with a snap DDT through the announce table, The Miz was able to climb the ladder and grab the belt, retaining the Intercontinental Championship.

              No Disqualification
The Corporation (Mr. McMahon & Shane McMahon) def. Team Laurinaitis (John Laurinaitis & David Otunga)
Shane McMahon and David Otunga started the match off with some sound technical wrestling. When Otunga tagged in John Laurinaitis, Shane-O-Mac tagged in papa McMahon. With Mr. McMahon and Laurinaitis in the ring, the match went from a pure wrestling clinic to chair shots. Mr. McMahon continued the assault on John Laurinaitis, busting him open in the process. The match was put back into the hands of Shane McMahon and David Otunga, but Otunga was too worried about going after Mr. McMahon, allowing Shane to take advantage and pick up the victory.

              WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Rock (C) def. Brock Lesnar
It seemed as though Rock's title reign was going to come to an abrupt end after facing off against Brock Lesnar. Lesnar maintained an advantage throughout the match, and seemed completely unfazed when The Rock hit the Most Electrifying Move in Sports Entertainment, kicking out of a People's Elbow after only a 1 count. Lesnar continued to give The Rock all he could take, and the match seemed over after Lesnar laid out The Rock with an F5. The Rock stayed alive, kicking out at 2 1/2. The Rock tried to put Lesnar away with a Rock Bottom, but Lesnar was able to get to the ropes, causing the rope break. The match continued, both men gaining momentum, not one guy having a clear advantage over the other. The Rock was able to lock in the Sharpshooter on Lesnar, and that would be it. Lesnar tried to crawl towards the ropes, but couldn't quite make it, being forced to tap out, allowing The Rock to retain.

Match 1: Justin Gabriel (c) vs. Tyson Kidd in a No DQ Match for the Cruiserweight Title

Gabriel won the newly reactivated title in a six-pack challenge by pinning his tag partner last. Kidd won a Fatal Four Way match to get the shot. Fast paced match between the two. Kidd gave it his all, but couldn't stop the rolling star. Gabriel won with the 450 Splash off the top of the ladder putting Kidd through a table for the pin.

                    Winner: Justin Gabriel

Match 2: Chris Jericho vs. Alberto Del Rio in a Submission Match

The feud between the two started when Del Rio attacked Jericho from behind prior to the IC Title match involving Christian and Dolph Ziggler. Del Rio got an easy win over a wounded Jericho in singles action, at further escalated to attacking Jericho with a lead pipe. The two battled back and forth with steel chairs, kendo sticks, the ring bell, ect. Towards the end, Jericho thought he had the victory with the Walls of Jericho locked in the middle of the ring, but Del Rio somehow was able to crawl to the ropes to break the hold. Del Rio got up to his feet and blasted Jericho square in the head with a chair and locked in the Cross-Arm Breaker and it was academic.

                    Winner: Alberto Del Rio

Match 3: Kane/Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Cody Rhodes/Damien Sandow in a No DQ Match for the WWE Tag Team Titles

The two teams feud intensified when Rhodes struck Bryan with a chair during a one-on-one match on SmackDown. The match was Tornado style. Somewhat quick match as Sandow countered Bryans attempt to hit a with the steel steps with the Terminus for the pin.

                    Winners: Team Rhodes Scholars

Match 4: John Cena vs. Big Show in a Tables Match

Show cost Cena a shot at the World Heavyweight Title in frustration for losing to the champ. Cena came back at him with a pre-match attack prior to Show's match with Sin Cara. During the match, Cena accidentally put himself through a table as he missed a his legdrop from the top rope. Cena late in the match hit the AA, but missed the table. Big Show hit his comeback, but Cena fought back, but Show countered with a back-body drop and Cena went crashing through the table.

                    Winner: Big Show

Match 5: CM Punk vs. Sheamus vs. Mark Henry in a Steel Cage Match

Winner of this match gets an opportunity at a shot at the WWE Title. Both Punk and Sheamus had their shot at the title, but failed the capture the title. Henry was embarrassed when he faced Brock Lesnar and was beating to a bloody pulp, so he took out his frustrations on the two. On to the match, escape rules only. Sheamus took the fight to Punk and Henry, but they also gave him a beating as well. Punk busted Sheamus open with an elbow to the head. The end saw Sheamus drive Henry down to the canvas from the top of the cage and delivery a Brogue Kick to Punk and escape the cage.

                    Winner: Sheamus

Match 6: The Rock (c) vs. Randy Orton in a 2 out of 3 Falls Extreme Rules Match for the World Heavyweight Title

Rock won the title in a Fatal Four Way match featuring Orton, Cena and Big Show by pinning Show. Orton became #1 contender after Show knocked Cena out. Rock layed Orton out on SmackDown to intensify their rivalry. Rock took the first fall after countering an RKO into a Rock Bottom. Orton tied it up with an RKO. The Rock hit a spinebuster, but instead of going for the People's Elbow, he started pounding the mat like he was Orton. Orton got up, turned around into an RKO and Rock retained his title.

                    Winner: The Rock

Match 7: Triple H (c) vs. Brock Lesnar in an Extreme Rules Match for the WWE Title

Triple H won the title by pinning Lesnar in a Fatal Four Way match. Lesnar in anger took out Triple H during his match with Christian and then became #1 contender when he beat Mark Henry, only for Triple H to attack him after the match. It was main event time and the fight was on. Lesnar and The Game beat each other half to death with what ever they could get their hands on. Lesnar brought it to a whole new level when introduced a sledgehammer into the match. Lesnar thought he had it won with an F5, but Triple H just wouldn't stay down. Triple H busted Lesnar open with the sledgehammer, but Lesnar, the beast that he is, would not be denied the title that eluded him. Lesnar finished Triple H off with a Shooting Star Press putting Triple H through a table and a sledgehammer shot to win.

                    Winner: Brock Lesnar

I'm planning on starting up my new Universe tonight when I get home. I'm going to download all the DLC because I want EVERYTHING to be included within my universe. I'm probably going to keep it at just a simple format and have RAW on Mondays and Smackdown on Thursdays. Maybe have one show on the weekend and then a PPV at the end of each month.

Can anyone tell me what's going on with the cutscenes/storylines? Last I heard people weren't getting any storylines, or atleast very few. Is their a solution to the problem yet? Thanks!

The thing that is difficult with cutscenes is to know if you're getting enough...I mean that's more a reflection of the individual consumer's expectations as opposed to if the game is working as intended. I get cutscenes on every show... but not every match. I haven't had any branching yet... should I have? I certainly wish I had - but maybe my stories haven't had an opportunity to play out yet b/c I'm so early in the year? I think everyone is just guessing right now. No consensus, and this is just what I've read and pieced together so please don't think I'm posting because I KNOW... but I think if you try to stay out of the booking for the most part, you'll get cutscenes. And simming doesn't help b/c the computer will just book that match over again because it WANTS to do a cutscene. I see guys complaining that they sim and the same matches are always booked - I think that's because the AI wants to do a cutscene. So you have to play it out. I do a lot of matches in that quick mode and if there's someone on my roster who I don't want to see, I move him somewhere else so I'm not fighting with the AI.

Two cents. Just my anecdotal evidence so far.

My experience is similar to the above.

There are certain pre-booked matches that are "storyline" matches. You can determine this by highlighting the match. If you don't get the option to interfere, then it is a storyline match. If you do have the option to interfere, then it is not a storyline match, and you can do whatever you want.

So basically it's like last year's "Tonight's Highlight Match", only they aren't marked.

So if you want the cutscenes, just take a look at those matches and see if they are storylines that you want to have play out.

                            July | Week 1

                            Monday Night Raw

The Miz came to the ring to celebrate his victory over Shawn Michaels at Capitol Punishment. Triple H's music hit, and The Game came to the ring, attacking the Intercontinental Champion. Grabbing the sledgehammer, Triple H put a beating on The Miz before giving him a Pedigree on the ramp.

Edge & Christian def. Team Laurinaitus (David Otunga & Big Show) via count out
Edge & Christian made their return to tag team action against Team Laurinaitis, and showed up in dominating fashion. The Tag Team legends had the upper hand all throughout the match, and finally picked up a count out victory after Edge hit an Edgecution DDT on David Otunga on the ramp.

                            Chris Jericho def. Shawn Michaels
Jericho took an early upper hand of the match, but was unable to finish it off, as Shawn Michaels got to the ropes to break a Walls of Jericho. Y2J followed up with a Codebreaker, but again, HBK was able to get to the ropes to break the count. Shawn Michaels began to build some momentum, but was stopped short as Jericho again locked Michaels in the Walls of Jericho. A 2nd Codebreaker finished the match, giving Jericho the victory.

                            Dolph Ziggler def. X-Pac
The match started off with a lot of back and forth, but soon came under the control of Dolph Ziggler who finished the match with a Zig Zag.

                            The Rock def. CM Punk
Brock Lesnar sat at the commentary table for this match, but even with his presence, The Rock was still able to pick up the victory over the Straight Edge Superstar. Lesnar left as The Rock celebrated his victory.

                              Good reads fellas!

Ive given up on storylines & just started using my imagination

After Ryback won the Hardcore Championship, Chyna met him at the ring they walked off holding hands so I made them a couple. Chyna has fued goin with Azrael (my female CAW, also the ****** Champ), so naturally now Ryback & Kang the Gangster (half of the Tag Team Champs The Crew) have a beef now too because Azrael & Kang are a couple.

Next PPV (TLC) itll be Ryback vs Kang for the Hardcore belt

Also Hollywood Hogan STOLE the World Heavyweight Championship from The Rock 99'. I recreated the NWO (Hogan, Nash, Hall, Sting) and Sting distracted the ref and Nash came OUTTA no where & hit Rock with a sledgehammer, Hogan did the leg drop and STOLE the belt! Now theres a fued between The Nation ( Rock 99, Mark Henry 99, Godfather, D-Lo, Paul Wight who was an addition from helpin Godfather from getting jumped) and the NWO.

Theres also a fued between Hunico, Mysterio, Sin Cara, Eddie Guerrera for the Cruiserweight Belt. Its bounced between the 4 of them but Im gonna have Benoit spoile the parade at TLC and try to snatch the title from Eddie!

All these came from a cutscence that I just built on..its been alot of fun
Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..

Using your imagination is fun! But I'm an actor / writer as well, so that kind of stuff is in my nature

For stories, here's what I do... before every show, I look through the match card. Look for matches that don't offer the "Interference" option. If you can't interfere, then it's a storyline match. Just decide if the match going on is a storyline you want to follow through on or not.

Some of my Universe has been based on these stories. Some of it hasn't been. I got a few going right now, but I don't wanna reveal them... I think it's funner for the reader if they don't know 1.) which wrestlers I control in each match / feud (I do play every match, but I don't reveal who I use. Many of my matches don't go the way I planned on booking them ) 2.) which feuds and storylines are WWE Universe Mode feuds, and which ones are Franchise408 imagination feuds

Bout to go play my Smackdown for the week now, should have my results up soon
