World Heavyweight Championship: Randy Orton def Sheamus

In our opening contest of the night, the World Heavyweight Championship successfully defended his title against Sheamus.

United States Championship - Antonio Cesaro (c) VS Ryback - Hell In A Cell

Over the past weeks we have seen Antonio Cesaro and Chris Jericho team up on multiple occasions to take out Ryback. This time, Ryback got his shot at a 1 on 1 match vs Cesaro as the match took place inside the Hell In a Cell.

In a very physical brawl, we saw a new champion crowned as Ryback defeated Cesaro with the Shell Shock. This match was all over the mat, outside the ring, and saw both men bloodied and thrown against the cell. There of course were foreign objects involved as well. Ryback lost quit a few matches the past few weeks, but seemed to have won the war...at least for the time being

Intercontinental Title Match: Santino Marella (c) def David Otunga

Our third match of the evening came from the Smackdown brand as we saw the Intercontinental champion retain his belt as he beat Harvard alum David "A-list" Otunga.

Divas Championship: Beth Phoenix (c) def Lita

In another Smackdown title match, we once again saw the reigning champion successfully defend their title as Beth Phoenix picked up the victory over Lita.

Triple Threat Match: Undertaker vs John Cena vs Mark Henry

We take a break from title matches to bring our attention to a triple threat match that has picked up steam over the past few weeks on Smackdown. In a physical and grueling contest, we saw John Cena pick up the victory after hitting the Attitude Adjustment on Mark Henry.

WWE Tag Team Championship: The Rhodes Scholars (C) vs The Usos

After picking up many tag team victories over the past month, The Usos finally got their hands on The Rhodes Scholars and a shot at the tag team titles they so heavily covet. It did not however go their way as we saw The Rhodes Scholars retain their title. The champions looked very strong in this tag match and clearly showed why they are the tag team champions.

WWE Championship Match: CM Punk (c) vs Dolph Ziggler

Finally the match we have all been waiting for. CM Punk defends his WWE Title against The Showoff Dolph Ziggler. Everyone has been wondering just who, if anyone would come out to help Dolph Ziggler, and we can be positive that Vince McMahon will have his say in this match as he is having flashbacks of Stone Cold Steve Austin and DX as rebels who are taking over his company.

The match finally got under way and we saw much back and forth action. That was of course until Brock Lesnar showed up once again and hit Punk with 3 F-5s!! Dolph Ziggler quickly pinned Punk to become the NEW WWE champion. It is time for the Ziggler era to begin.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

Ok....never really posted my results before...but first time for everything....I wont bore you witht the 4 weeks leading up but here are the results from my first ppv...EXTREME RULES.....its a Raw only PPV

-Ted DiBiase, Wade Barrett & Antontio Cesaro d. Santino Marella, Yoshi Tatsu, & Brodus Clay.
No real backstory here. These 3 had been having singles feuds throughout the month, and it was more of a filler match. Decent back and fourth, but Barrett pins Santino for the win.

-The Usos d. Air Boom to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles in a ladder match.
This was suppose to be Kofi and R-Truth trying to regain their tag titles from The Usos. But durring the last Raw before the PPV, Truth turned his back on Kofi, which lead to The Usos winning the titles. Kofi found his old tag team partner Evan Bourne to help out, but they came up short. Jimmy Uso busted Kofi open on a ladder in this one as well.

-DX(HBK/HHH) d. Kevin Nash & Jack Swagger in a falls count anywhere match.
After Kevin Nash made his return agasint his old employer Shawn Michaels all hell broke loose. Backstage brawls, dq's, tables, ladders, chairs you name it. Of course HBK's tag team partner HHH was there by his side to fend off the monster. Jack Swagger came to the aide of Kevin Nash on Raw. Nash announced that Swagger was his new partner and that he would be froemding the nWo. After the beat down, which saw HBK open up both men, pinning Nash in the process, Big Sexy said that he would add more members and make the nWo even stronger.

-Zack Ryder d. The Miz to win the IC Championship.
Ryder and Miz had been battleing back and fourth on Raw. Ryder entered a 3 way dance against Swagger and DiBiase to determine the #1 contender. After a hard fought battle Ryder earned his chance at his heated rival, and his coveted title. At Extreme Rules, Miz and Ryder stole the show with a back and fourth match which ended with Ryder busting the Miz's head open and getting him the victory and the gold.

-AJ Lee d. Natalya for the Divas championship
The underdog, AJ Lee took it to Natalya in this one. No one expected her to beat down a member of the great Hart family like she did....but she did, earning her first title along the way.

-Ryback d. Brock Lesner in a Tables match.
After injected themselves in the Cena/Punk feud, Ryback and Lesner went at eachother on Raw. It culminated in a tables match at Extreme Rules. The finish came when Ryback dropped Lesner through a table in the middle of the ring, busting him open in the process.

-John Cena d. C.M. Punk in an Extreme Rules match for the WWE Title
This one was fast and furious. Everything these 2 men could get their hands on...they did. Chairs, tables, trash cans, title belts, kendo sticks, steel steps, you name it. They fought more outside the ring than in it. The finish came when Punk went for the GTS on Cena, but he countered it and hit the AA to once again become the WWE champ.
        Let's Go Mets!!!

          Pre-Match Promo

Hunico comes out to the ring on the back of a bicycle being peddled by an unknown figure. Hunico states he is tired of having to face debuting superstars week in and week out lately here on NXT and has decided to turn the tide...in his favor. Hunico stated "This week, its MY turn to debut a superstar. This is Camacho." Hunico and Camacho wait in the ring for their opponents to hit the ring. What Hunico did not know, is this week he will be facing two debuting superstars.

Match 1: Bray Wyatt & Bo Dallas defeat Hunico & Camacho

Well this didn't turn out to be the night that Hunico envisioned. We also didn't even get to see what Camacho could do in the ring as he never got to enter as Wyatt and Dallas dominated Hunico throughout the match. The crowd really seemed to get behind Bray Wyatt in his NXT debut. The WWE Tag Team division now has another strong team in its stable. The Rhodes Scholars need to keep a close eye on this duo.

Match 2: Tyson Kidd def Justin Gabriel

This was a very technical match which saw plenty of counters and chain wrestling. Tyson Kidd picks up his first win on NXT and his first win since returning from injury. After the match the two respected each other with a hand shake and have announced the formation of a new tag team.

          Pre-Match Promo:

Mick Foley has come out to address the crowd and WWE Universe about the future of the company and the young work horses currently participating and debuting on NXT. This promo did not last long however as The Shield approached the ring and challenged Mick to a 1 on 1 match.

Match 3: Roman Reigns def Cactus Jack

Roman Reigns looked very strong in this 1 on 1 encounter against a newly announced WWE Hall of Famer. The Shield continue to impress as they went 2-0 this week (Ambrose on Raw) with Seth Rollins having the week off.

Match 4: Daniel Bryan def Cody Rhodes

In a recent feud that has escalated in the tag team ranks, we saw solo competition as Daniel Bryan (Team Hell No) battled Cody Rhodes (The Rhodes Scholars) in a long and tough grueling contest. This match, similar to the Kidd and Gabriel battle saw many counters and chain wrestling. The ending of the match came from a backslide pin by Daniel Bryan after countering a Cody Rhodes pin attempt.

Match 5: Alberto Del Rio, Brodus Clay & Ryback (United States Champion) def Antonio Cesaro, Tensai, & Kassius Ohno

Earlier in the day the Main Event was announced of superstars being teamed together to face their current rival (Cesaro vs Ryback, ADR vs Tensai). A war of words happened backstage between Antonio Cesar and Brodus Clay as Clay was practicing dancing. The Very European superstar mocked Brodus Clay and his American style of dancing. Brodus Clay challenged Cesaro to a match but was informed by Cesaro he was already in action. The match was then changed with Brodus Clay added to the team of Ryback and Del Rio. Being a man short, Cesaro turned to his former tag team partner from ROH Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) to once again join forces in the WWE. This match however was not in their favor as Ryback hit the shellshock on Tensai to pick up the victory for his team.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

Ok so I'm changing my universe and now making NXT a "Major" brand with its own roster. I will still use it though for a lot of Tag Team and Cruiserweight matches as well. The cruiserweight title has been deemed a "Minor" title on the show.

<center><font size=4>BREAKING NEWS: NXT TO GET ITS OWN TITLE</font size></center>

<center>Breaking Down the Top Candidates for the NXT Title

Bray Wyatt: Bray Wyatt made his debut alongside tag team partner Bo Dallas. We have also seen Erick Rowan and Luke Harper accompany Bray Wyatt around. With the Wyatt family supporting him, Wyatt has all the tools to become the first NXT champion.

Roman Reigns: Reigns, like Wyatt also has a stable of guys around him in Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Reigns, the powerhouse of The Shield also has the size and strength to bring home the first NXT title.

Kassius Ohno: Ohno has burst onto the NXT scene as well displaying ferocious elbows and heavy strikes. We also were able to see what Ohno could do against top flight RAW performers as he held his own against Alberto Del Rio, Ryback and Brodus Clay. Ohno is definitely more battle tested then the others so far.

Seth Rollins: Rollins is another member of The Shield. He brings a more high flying/technical aspect to the ring as well as speed that the other 3 do not. The problem here would be what would happen if any of The Shield members have to face one another?</center>

Hey guys i was gonna start a Wcw/nWo universe after i have it all set up how i want. Do you let the computer set the matches for you each week, do they tend to be the same?

I was just going to do WCW Nitro and Raw is War, with just the older guys.
              Suggestions?

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

So last night, while only 2 months into my Universe, I decided to scrap the whole thing are start over. My main reason was that the rosters were to large (about 40 wrestlers per roster) and there were times where I didn't use ANY of my wrestlers between two shows (Curt Henning comes to mind) and constantly used others I didn't want to (Shane/Vince/Mike Tyson, etc).

Also, the last two weeks I played, the cards for Raw and Nitro were virtually the same and that irked me as well. This is even with playing every match on every card (Raw/Heat Nitro/Starrcade).

So I decided that it was time to trim the rosters down, get rid of the "New Era" PPV rings/setups and keep it as old school as possible. I also decided to scrap the Divas because I feel they're useless. Each show will have 1 Diva on their roster as the champion. Here's my new setup:

                [Orange denotes Champion]

                WCW/ECW
Major Show: WCW Monday Nitro [Monday Night]
Minor Show: ECW Hardcore [Wednesday Night]
Championships: Major: WCW World Championship (91-93)
                Minor: WCW United States Championship
                Tag: WCW Tag Team Championship
                Divas: Diva's championship
                Roster
                "Major"/Main Event
                Goldberg
                Hollywood Hogan
                Sting
                Kevin Nash
                Robb Pizzuto
                Ric Flair
                Jeff Jarrett

*In reality, guys like LOD and the New Age Outlaws won't compete for the IC title, they'll remain strictly for tag team work.

Tag Teams/Stables (first two names in stable designate tag partners):
                Edge and Christian
                Legion of Doom

                Degeneration X [HBK/HHH/X-Pac]
                The Brothers of Destruction
                Hart Foundation [Hitman/Bulldog]
                New Age Outlaws
                The TPB [Tafts/Hie/Gursky/Duke]

*I may put the Rock and Sock Connection together, but not right now*

I added WCW PPVs and changed all of the WWE PPVs to WWF-style arenas to give it the Attitude Era feel. I didn't like my crowd wearing current shirts and see WWE ATTITUDE on mini-trons during PPVs.

WCW PPVs are the 3rd Sunday of the month and WWF are the 4th. There will be 3 shared PPVs [Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble and Over the Edge [which is basically Money In The Bank].

First of all, thank you all for sharing the details of your Universe. WWE should certainly hire some of you guys as writers.

A little about my Universe (but not much) I put all the attitude guys on Smackdown and kept the regular roster for Raw. Then the only other show I have is Superstars, which I haven't made any changes to, but seems to incorporate the lesser guys in both brands.

I play most of the matches except for what appear to be really random ones. For the PPV I let the computer play all the matches. So imagine my surprise when...

Kane defeated CM Punk at Extreme Rules for the WWE Championship in a HIAC match. They had fought each other all four weeks on RAW, splitting the matches, so I was hoping this was the end of their feud. However...

The next night on Raw it's CM Punk vs. Cena in the main event and Kane attacked Cena before the match and Punk after his win vs. Cena.

This is by far the coolest thing going in my universe right now.

I haven't beating Attitude Era yet, or added any CAW's, except mine, so I look forward to introducing them as time goes on. I only have 20ish guys in each brand, which works for me because I had about double that last year in each brand and it was way too much to keep track of. My goal this year is if I add a guy to maybe drop a guy, and not let the rosters get too out of hand.

So I got to the Royal Rumble in my Universe and it was set to be a 20 man rumble so I changed it to a 30 man and picked what superstars were in it.
Cena won it but he isn't acknowledge as the rumble winner. Am I not allowed to change the participants or anything about the rumble they set up? I don't want inactive wrestlers in my rumble.
"Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. Hate that, hate it with all your heart...
...and hate that I'm loved for the exact same reasons."

I don't know the answer to this, but you can either just put him in the title match at Wrestlemania, and I think you can change the rankings to make Cena the number one contender. I know it's not the ideal answer (or any answer) you are looking for, and hopefully someone can give the answer because I'm curious too.
