King of the Ring, Live from Montreal
    British Bulldog vs. Road Dogg
The European champion Bulldog shoud be excited tonight, as he's close to home in Montreal. Last week, after defeating Godfather, the two shook hands, possibly forming an alliance. Road Dogg is one half of the New Age Outlaws but wants to climb the ranks in singles competition. The two clearly don't like each other. In a back and forth match, the fight spilled outside. Bulldog suplexed Road Dogg onto the steel stairs. Bulldog then suplexed Road Dogg through the announce table! Road Dogg was busted open by a knee to the face yet continued to persevere. A DDT busted Bulldog open, but the champ hit a running powerslam for a victory. Road Dogg after the match raised Bulldog's hand.

Mankind and Rock vs. Ken Shamrock and Bossman
Last week Mankind was decimated by Bossman on the orders of Vince McMahon. Tonight, in a bizarre tag team match, the Corporate champion Rock teamed with Mankind to face Vince's goons. As Mankind walked out to the ring, it appears Rock and Vince conspired to screw mankind again. Rock no-showed the match, turning the match into a handicap match. Mankind shocked everyone but taking the fight to the Corporation. He punished Shamrock on the outside and went toe to toe with Boss Man. The numbers game caught up with Mankind as Bossman and Shamrock doubled him on multiple occasions. Mankind kept the fight outside of the ring most of the match and busted Shamrock open. Mankind escaped the sleeper-body scissors and continued to fight. Shamrock resorted to a rollup pin to defeat Mankind in a very close match most expected to be a dominant victory. After the match, Shamrock and Mankind were getting set to attack Mankind yet the Rock ran out, punched Shamrock out of the ring, and saved Mankind, betraying the Corporation.

Eddie Guerrero and Paul Wight vs. Billy Gunn and Chris Jericho
Last week Wight defeated Guerrero but tonight they team together. Guerrero and Wight argued before the match, showing their rivalry is still active. Early in the match, Guerrero attempted a tag, but Wight walked out of the match, leaving Guerrero to fend for himself. Gunn and Jericho worked well as a team, and a leg drop bull dog from Gunn put Guerrero away.

    Shawn Michaels vs. Animal
The Road warriors and DX have been feuding. Before this match, triple H attacked Animal. Last week, Hawk beat Michaels, and HBK wants revenge. One Sweet Chin Music didn't put Animal away and the match continued. The momentum shifted to Animal, but Michaels fought back and hit a second Sweet Chin Music to win. After the match, Michaels attacked Animal with a steel chair to put an exclamation point on the win.

    Steve Austin vs. Kane
These two have been rivaling for a few weeks, and this is an unofficial number one contender match for Rock's title. Kane attacked Austin before the match began, giving himself the advantage. Austin fought on, and hit a stunner but Kane wanted to win and face the Rock, and kicked out of the pin. Austin hit a Lou Thez press, and a second stunner to put the Red Monster away. Austin has officially earned the right to face the Rock in a rematch for the WWE Brahma Bull championship.

    Over the Limit match card:
WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho
World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus (c) vs. Daniel Bryan; anything goes Iron Man match
United States and Intercontiental Championship match: Santino Marella (c) vs. Miz(c)
Tag Team Championship: Kofi Kingston and R Truth(c) vs. Primo and Epico

Duplicates go on inactive and the 2 of the 3 Micks get used on separate brands.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

Hello again all. As I was getting to with my first post, i decided to do something i dont think many others have done and gave the women (HATE the term diva) their very own Brand. As the brands have to have their own major title, i just slapped the AWA belt on Shane O' Mac, who's the CEO of the brand but an inactive wrestler, and forget it even exist. I track the womens title, its the big championship on the brand, and created a pair of silver tag belts from the womens belt baseplate, once i figured out you can create and track tag belts for women, so most of the ladies are in tag teams to keep things interesting. Natty and Beth and the Bella's of course, then Trish and K2, Eve and Lita, AJ and Layla, My girl Velvet Sky and Angelina Love, and i created a set of three sisters, the Carter Girls that take turns making up a tag team and the other one going after the singles belt.

I use the womens belt matches and/or the womens tag belts as card fillers on the WWE and WCW ppv's, basically as special attractions, so the belts get defended about every two weeks. Its working well so far actually, im getting more and better cut scenes on the Womens brand than anywhere else! Sorry for that long winded paragraph but i wanted to see what you all thought of that idea.

Hit the RR last night, and:

D-X retained the tag belts over Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, despite Shawn getting demolished for most of the match. The Show Stoppa hit his comeback sequence and then elbow on Reigns, bringing in lesnar who got sweet chin music for his troubles.

Lita Defeated Trish to once again capture the womens championship, in what was honestly one of the hardest fought matches ive played in this game, i played as Trish and should have lost about 6 times before coming back only to get hit with the twist of fate as Trish dove from the top rope. Didnt even try to kick out of that, it was just too beautiful.

Billy Gunn fell to Jack Swagger and lost the IC belt he fought so hard for. Swagger attacked him before the bell and he never really recovered.

Brittany and Sophia Carter defeated Layla and AJ in a ladder match to continue their incredible run with the womens tag belts, their reign reaching 17 weeks at this point.

Dean Ambrose defeated R-Truth to win the European Championship for the Shield's first taste of WWF gold. This was a pretty good last man standing match, which saw three of the four corners of the barricade destroyed, before Ambrose hit a big suplex and then a snap DDT both on the steel steps in the center of the ring.

WWF Title: UGGHHHHH..... I had it all worked out. Ziggler held this belt for months, then Cody Rhodes took it off him in december, and i anticipated a big rematch at the RR. John Cena, who will not stay heel no matter how many times i switch him, worked his way into a triple threat match, which i allowed. It was a Cage match, and after Ziggler hits the zig zag on Cody, Cena hits an FU on Dolph and escapes the cage to win another title. Hurray.

Royal Rumble: 30 man match, try not to use too many people i really dont want to win, and my plan is always to play as the guy i want to push, with a random draw. I wanted to push Billy Gunn, since he got screwed out of his king of the ring title shot all those years ago (he still is owed a title shot). Came in at 8 and lasted until 23, then got taken out by Vincent K himself. Allowed it play out and it came down to Edge, Taker, and Christian. Im building towards a match between taker and his son, Minion at mania, so i started to get nervous. Edge and Christian took him out though, before Christian ultimately eliminated his old friend and moves on to Wrestlemania.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

I was under the impression that editing matches removed cutscenes, but I just experienced the opposite.

I was just editing the card on my Over The Limit brand and the original main event was Randy Orton vs Shane McMahon, it included a cut scene. I added some superstars to the brand and the match was switch to Orton & Ryback vs Golddust & Shane and still included a cut scene.

I didn't like that option and edited the match to Orton vs Chris Benoit and the cut scene was removed, however when the match was played out between the CPU, a cut scene was shown with Sheamus attacking Orton after the match & Benoit making the save.

Just wondering, has anyone even gotten any of the branching universe cutscenes? You know the ones that you get to chose the outcomes. I wasn't getting any of them so I played a full year of Attitude era Universe and did not get one! I'm starting to think this was a bold faced lie on THQs part. That was Create A Story, not universe.

I did once in one of my previous runs at Universe. I had a match with Tyson Kidd (CAW) vs. Bradshaw. Bradshaw won the match and there was an option to "shake" or "slap away" Bradshaw's hand. I chose "shake" and it led to Tyson Kidd joining the APA stable. Pretty odd.

Last week we received the announcement that NXT has officially become its own brand instead of a secondary RAW show. With that announcement was the news that NXT will be getting its very own General Manager.

This weeks show wasted no time as the new General Manager kicked off the show. The crowd was restless as the arena lights went dark and purple lights flickered and lit up the arena......HEEELLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO LLLLLAAAAAAAAAADDDDIIIIEEEEEEESSSSSSSS. Out came Val Venis as he has been named the first ever General Manger of NXT. Venis cut a short promo and stated tonight Seth Rollins would main event the show defending his Cruiserweight Title against a mystery opponent.

Sometimes editing matches removes storylines, sometimes editing adds storylines/cutscenes, there's no way to truly beat the system and always get cutscenes.

He is now one of Savages rivals. I originally set my Universe up so allies and rivalries did not cross brands and I wanted to keep my three brands completely separate for at least through the first Wrestlemania "a year from now" and then start having an "Invasion". I don't know if it should I delete The Sandman from Savage's Rivals and continue my original plan or see where this angle leads to.
