Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

@ feedmemore: Nice update man. I really liked the simple layout and how you gave more detail just for the main event. It makes it a lot easier to update like that, I may just use a similar type format for mine. Nice work!

    Question for all of you...

    1) After playing a full year, does Universe mode keep going or does it just conclude after one year?

    2) Can I add superstars to the roster after i've already started my Universe? Example, if I unlock/download another superstar, can I add him/her to a Universe i've already started or would I need to completely start over? Same question for a created superstar....if I create a superstar can I add him/her to an already started Universe? Thanks!

      1. Keeps going
      2. You can add, delete and adjust your roster anyway you want at anytime

This does not apply to changing rankings and rivals only match cards it a stupid idea I think that it does this.
The feuds have still continued a lot of times for me but I'm talking about PPVs cause you were talking about PPVs. So you don't change the matches on the PPV?

Ok i misunderstood I change some PPv matches (as some put in seem so Pointless) Like a tag match not being put in because there a match with two stars who have no feuds... but I never have add another brand manually into a ppv hosted by 2 brands. Maybe this is ok as you said you get feuds still I just thought it might mess it up.

Also I guess everyone doing different things with their universe so it not absolute you must not change matches. Just from my experience changing cards too much messes up feud they get cancelled.

                Breakdown WCW/Raw is War PPV

The Rock is not happy about not being included in the main event and says there will be hell to pay and everyone has forgotten about the great one and he will not leave the stage. The Gm enters and tells the Rock to leave or be fired The Rock reluctantly leaves. Y2J looks worried about having to not only face Taker but 3 other competitors to keep his belt. DDP is more then happy to take on the challenge but will his confidence be his downfall?.

                (C)Gangrel vs Brian Pillman

The crowed are not pleased with the result.

Winner and Still WCW United States Champion Gangrel

World Tag Team Championship Tornado Tag Match

(C)New Age Outlaws vs The Acolytes
Really good match from two of the most finest tag teams it seemed there really was bad blood between these two teams.
                Lasted 25mins

Winners and New Tag team Champs of the world The Alcolytes

                Womens Championship

                Championship Scramble Raw is War

Undertaker vs (C) Y2J (held title for 3 months) vs HBK vs Mankind vs Big Boss Man
An Epic match Y2J and HBK start the match when Mankind enters looks like Y2J is trying to stay outside and let the other fight. He does this till HBK turns his attention to him. Then Takers comes in to fight with Mankind then the Boss Man fights with HBK and Y2J again starts being a coward avoiding any conflict as possible. Then he tries to put mankind through the table only to be reversed and put through. But the time has run out and Y2J Retains yet again. Looks like his coward tactics have worked out again.

                Winner and still champion Y2J

Y2J Then says there's nothing that can stop me nothing! and walks off boasting how good he is and this is what a real champ does.

What will be the repercussions on the next show and can anybody really beat YJ2 at his own game?

                WCW World Heavyweight Championship Scramble

Kevin Nash vs (C) DDP ( held for a month) vs Booker T vs Jeff Hardy vs Stone Cold
DDP and Stone Cold start looks like Stone Cold has been waiting for this moment to face him again. Then the First WCW Champion Booker T enters Stone Cold looks like he wants a piece of everyone and attacks Booker. Later it turns into a Handicap match till Kevin Nash enters and attempts to pin DDP. Booker Grabs a Sledgehammer and hits Kevin. While this is Happening Stone Cold pins DDP to become New Champ then Jeff Hardy comes into the fray. Seems after the Nwo took his tag titles he after Nash but so is someone else Stone Cold stunners Nash. Nash is all bloodied and Booker almost becomes new champ but is broken on two count. Same happens with Jeff and time runs out. Stone Cold Claims his Title back again!

Winner and New WCW Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

We have some debuting Superstars making their first WWE appearance and some extra action here on the first Heat of June.

Ryder/Riley Revolution (Zack Ryder/Alex Riley) def. Prime Time Players (Young/O'Neil): Decent tag action here. A new pairing in Alex Riley and Zack Ryder joined forces and both them and the Prime Time Players were aiming to make an impression in the tag division. It was a Rough Ryder mid-match on Titus by Long Island Iced Z that lead to a pin by his partner Alex Riley later on.

Steen Challenge: Kevin Steen def. Davey Richards: Once again, the IC champ issued a challenge to anyone in the back. Next to accept the challenge was American Wolf Davey Richards, a rival of Steen's in the recent past. Two former Ring of Honor World Champions clashed in this somewhat lengthy match. Steen ultimately won after powerbombing a bloodied Richards. He continues to look impressive for his upcoming title defense against El Generico.

Rocky Maivia def. James Storm: The young Maivia was doing well down in developmental before receiving this match on Heat. He made a good impression in his debut, beating the former TNA Heavyweight Champion with his finishing moves - the Shoulderbreaker and flying crossbody. Whether the blue-chipper from Miami will be an impact player on one of the main brands remains to be seen, but so far, he's off to a nice start.

Fatal Four-Way, Tag Team Turmoil Series
Joe Hennig (Hennig/Dallas) def. Jey Uso (The Usos), Edge (Edge & Christian), and Ted DiBiase (Evolution): Ted DiBiase was the only newcomer to the series on behalf of Evolution, but he wasn't the winner. Instead, it was Joe Hennig who got the second point and the lead with the second straight win for his team after losing on his first try earlier on.

                    Tag Turmoil Standings
                    Hennig/Dallas - 2
                    Mucha Lucha - 1
                    New Age Outlaws - 1
                    others tied - 0

"The Phenom" Mark Calaway def. Alberto Del Rio: The nXt World Champion could not be stopped in the minors and so he received a call-up to the bigs tonight. Dubbed "the Phenom", Mark Calaway reminds many of the Undertaker with his impressive size and unflinching resistance to pain. Del Rio fought to the end and nearly defeated the rookie but fell victim to a Chokeslam.

Hi guys just finished Week 2 of Universe mode on wwe 12. really excited waiting for wwe 13. here are the results

                            Raw-W2:

#1: Yoshi Tatsu vs Dean Ambrose/Dean Ambrose
#2-Today's Remarkable Match: CM Punk & Brad Maddox vs Triple H & Deadmau5 (CAW)/After a great Lariat signature, Punk gets blasted with a World's Strongest Slam Finisher but escapes after interference by Brad Maddox. But a move from the top rope wins it for HHH and Deadmau5.
                            #3: Eve vs Naomi/Eve
#4-Main Event: Mr.McMahon vs Vader/But before the match even starts Mr.McMahon knocks over the ref. But the ref gets back up and rings the bell. Mr.McMahon hits his Lou Thesz Press Signature before a Mr.McMahon stunner connects but only a 2 and Vader kicks out. Brock Lesnar comes down to interfere on behalf off Vader. Vader tries for a pin but can only get 1. Vader gets another 1 count. But Brock Lesnar leaves the ring and does not cause any trouble. I wonder what could happen there. But hopefully another McMahon Stunner can win it for the boss, 1, 2 & 3, Mr.McMahon wins.
(After the match Mr.McMahon goes to check on Vader but Vader delivers a Low Blow)

                            Superstars:

#1: Heath Slater vs Vladimir Kozlov/Vladimir Kozlov
                            #2: Layla vs Natalya/Natalya
#3-Main Event: Santino Marella vs Kevin Nash vs Chavo Guerrero vs Hugh Hart (CAW)/Hugh Hart delivers Santino a signature Cross Rhodes before he finishes him off with a 450 splash. But only gets 2 after Nash breaks it up. Now Chavo gets a Cross Rhodes but Nash intercepts and Jacknife's Hugh Hart. But somehow Hart pulled off an amazing reversal to send Nash to the mat before Nash taps out to a STF from Hart. Hugh Hart wins after a grueling 5.59 minute match. (After the match Santino's Co-Bro partner Zack Ryder checks on an injured Santino lying on the mat)

                            SmackDown!:

#1: Big Show vs Sin Cara/Big Show
#2: Dan Silva-Lopez (CAW) vs King Esperito (CAW)/King Esperito
                            #3: Booker T vs Big E Langston/Booker T
#4-Main Event: Alberto Del Rio vs Jacob Cass vs ??? (Special Guest)/The special guest is the returning Goldust, wonder what he has on offer. But the stipulation has been changed to a Falls Count Anywhere Match. After a 2:32 minute match Jacob Cass wins by his signature LeBell Lock.

                            Fueds/Allies:

                            JTG and Vladimir Kozlov (Fued)

We're on the road to No Way Out here on the second RAW of the month.

                              WWE Title #1C Tourney, Semi-Finals
Shawn Michaels def. Kevin Steen and Ryback: This interesting mish-mash of personalities resulted in a brawl which saw HBK and the Anti-Christ mostly team up on the monster Ryback. This came back on Steen as Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music on Ryback and stole the pinfall. HBK escaped with the win but Steen has other things on his mind that are more important. Meanwhile, the Heartbreak Kid has a duel set for the near future against Evolution members Triple H or Ric Flair, with the winner heading on to No Way Out to face WWE Champion C.M. Punk.

                              WWE Title #1C Tourney, Semi-Finals
Triple H (w/ Drew McIntyre) def. Ric Flair (w/Batista): After the RAW/Smackdown GM granted Triple H entry into the World title opportunity voting, he was made to fight his Evolution partner Ric Flair in what is the near closing to this tournament. Shockingly, these two were actually willing to fight each other and put on a good match. Triple H rebounded from his loss to Randy Orton on Friday night and he moves on. I'm sure Naitch had no problem losing to his student.

All that's left in this tournament is past DX teammates HHH and HBK facing off for the chance to get a WWE title shot at No Way Out.

El Generico def. Bully Ray: With Steen participating in the WWE title #1 contendership tourney, he chose a competitor for his No Way Out opponent to square off against.

Generico gave the fans a show with his high-flying maneuvers, soaring all over the ring with his attacks on Bully. The crowd ate it up, especially a Brainbuster onto the announce table and a Bully Cutter onto Generico who springboarded out of the ring. Generico overcame the multiple-time Tag Team champion in a match I'm sure our IC champion was surely paying attention to.

                              Fatal Four-Way, Tag Turmoil Series
Bobby Roode (Evolution) def. Rey Mysterio (Mucha Lucha), Bo Dallas (Dallas/Hennig), and The Miz (ShowMiz): Roode and the other members of Evolution were allowed to be in a second consecutive match because they have just made their way into the series.

After some exciting four-way action, Bobby Roode got Evolution on the board by forcing rookie Bo Dallas to tap out to the arm-trap crossface, therefore ending Hennig & Dallas' two-match win streak.

                              Tag Turmoil Standings
                              Hennig/Dallas - 2
                              Mucha Lucha - 1
                              New Age Outlaws - 1
                              Evolution - 1
                              others tied - 0

                              WWE Championship
C.M. Punk (c) and "The Phenom" Mark Calaway fought to a no contest: The winner of the latest season of nXt as well as the nXt Championship is cashing in his contracted title shot that comes with those accomplishments. Punk must pay for the screwjobs in his title defenses recently. One has to wonder if Punk's Nexus cronies or an outsider will have some hand in this bout due to the shoddiness of the champ's matches as of late.

As expected, the Nexus made their presence felt in the match. It was immediately thrown out and drawn up as having no winner. The youngster Calaway held his own against Punk and Co. and with nothing to lose he tried to fight them off. They got the better of him until..

IT'S THE GREAT ONE! THE PEOPLE'S CHAMPION IS HERE ON RAW! THE BRAHMA BULL! THE JABRONI-BEATING, PIE-EATING, TRAILBLAZING, EYEBROW-RAISING, HEART-STOPPIN, ELBOW-DROPPIN, DEATH-DEFYING, ELECTRIFYING, HAVE NO FEAR, CRYSTAL-CLEAR, FIGHTING FAST, WHOOPIN CANDY ***, PEOPLE'S CHAMP, THE ROCK!

Rocky slides in in grand fashion and he decides to layeth the smacketh down upon the Shield and Punk. The crowd is going insane for their favorite as he puts the Nexus in their place. Even Calaway, though you couldn't tell from his expression (or lack thereof), was probably stunned.

The Rock sends Nexus out of the People's Ring, making a huge statement in the process. He's arrived on Raw, he's had enough of their crap and if there's anyone to stop their onslaught it's the People's Champion.

What will come of this situation next? We hope to get a word with the Rock on next week's RAW.
