Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

    RAW: May, Week 1

Brock Lesnar def Zack Ryder and Santino Marella in an Elimination Handicap Match
A squash match for the new WWE Champion to keep up the momentum going into Over the Limit as he will defend his title against John Cena.

    The Miz def Drew McIntyre
Miz returns to action with an emphatic victory of the 3MB member as he lets Wade Barrett know he's coming after the IC Title.

Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow def Kane and Daniel Bryan (c) to win the WWE Tag Team Titles
A tornado style tag match, great action with at the end Sandow catching Bryan with a knee to the head and a School Boy for the surprise pin.

    Ryback def CM Punk
Punk called out anybody to face in and with Ryback on the roster, that's usually a bad idea. Ryback finished off Punk with a Backpack Stunner and Shell Shock. Post match Dolph Ziggler walked by Ryback and attacked to former WWE Champion, and Ryback stopped the attack and turning Punk face in the process.

    Seth Rollins def Chris Jericho
Jericho's war with The Shield wasn't over by a long shot, but to a huge loss to Seth Rollins. Jericho did everything though as Rollins had taken a Codebreaker, Lionsault and somehow breaking out of the Liontamer. Rollins finished Jericho off with a Drive By Kick to stun the 1st Undisputed Champion.

    SMACKDOWN: May, Week 1

Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow (c) def Kane and Daniel Bryan to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles
Team Hell No's rematch for the titles. Daniel Bryan had no interest in the match and walked out as Damien Sandow hit the Terminus on Kane to allow The Rhodes Scholars to retain. Post match, Kane found Daniel Bryan backstage and Chokeslammed him on the concrete for partial payback.

Jack Swagger def Tensai, Justin Gabriel, Christian, Sin Cara and Heath Slater in a 6 Man Battle Royal to become #1 Contender to the United States Title
As Antonio Cesaro has yet to defend the US Title in some time, he will face the winner next week. The match came down to Swagger and Tensai and it looked as if Tensai had claimed victory with the Mist Claw STO for the pin, but Swagger kicked out and came back to lock in the Ankle Lock for the Submission.

    Big Show def Randy Orton
Orton's struggles are at an all time high as he was KO'ed early on and then took a Chokeslam to boot.

Antonio Cesaro def The Undertaker via CO
A victory over the returning Deadman would give Cesaro a World Title shot at Over the Limit against Alberto Del Rio. Cesaro never looked intimated against the Phenom and went toe-to-toe against him. Undertaker kicked out of the Neutralizer, but shockingly Cesaro kicked out of the Tombstone. With the two brawling on the outside, Cesaro hit the Swiss Death and got back in the ring as Undertaker was counted out, securing Cesaro his 1st World Title match.

    Over the Limit Card

WWE Title Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. John Cena
World Heavyweight Title Match: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Antonio Cesaro
"I Quit" Match: Chris Jericho vs. Dean Ambrose
    CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler
    Kane vs. Daniel Bryan

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

      RAW: May, Week 2

      The Miz def David Otunga
Miz continues to make his case for an IC Title shot against Wade Barrett with a quick victory over Otunga via the Skull Crushing Finale.

CM Punk def Big E. Langston
Big E's debut match didn't go the way he would have like. Punk taking on his OTL opponent's bodyguard in Langston. Langston early on had his way with Punk using his power to control. But Punk being the BITW, used Big E's inexperience against him. Punk finished him off with the GTS and Anaconda Vice.

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd def Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow
The Rhodes Scholars one week removed from becoming WWE Tag Team Champions issued an open challenge to any tag team and the team known as International Airstrike answered. While Gabriel took a lot of punishment from Rhodes and Sandow, Tyson was the savior for the team. At the end, a badly damaged Rhodes (thanks to Tyson's Hart Lock) threw Rhodes back into the ring and into a pin from Gabriel.

      Dean Ambrose def Kofi Kingston
This was the first official 1-on-1 match for Dean Ambrose, while Kofi gave him a helluva fight. Kofi matched him move for move, counter for counter. Kofi had the match won with the Trouble in Paradise, but Ambrose was too close to the ropes and escaped and came back in with a Knee Trembler for the pin.

John Cena and Ryback def Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler via DQ
Quick match as Lesnar had only one intention and that was weakening Cena at any cost. As Ryback and Ziggler were going at it in the ring, Brock hit Cena low and threw the Steel Steps into Cena's face for the DQ.

      SMACKDOWN: May, Week 2

Antonio Cesaro (c) def Jack Swagger to retain the United States Title
As of right now, no one is on Antonio Cesaro's level. "The Real American" Jack Swagger had very little offense as Cesaro dominated him at every turn. Cesaro caught Swagger with the Swiss Death and finished him off with the Neutralizer.

Cody Rhodes w/Damien Sandow def Tyson Kidd w/Justin Gabriel
After Kidd and Gabriel's upset win over the new WWE Tag Team Champions, a 1-on-1 match was made for Rhodes and Kidd. Kidd came out like a ball of fire hitting Rhodes with high impact moves. But when Kidd gave Rhodes a chance to get back in the ring, Rhodes hit a Springboard Dropkick and the tide turned in a favor off the Tag Champion. Rhodes decimated him ending with Rhodes spearing Kidd through the barricade. Cody broke the ref's count at 7, tossed Kidd back in, but was caught in the Hart Lock. Rhodes managed to break free and went for a Springboard Dive on a prone Kidd, but he moved and seemingly had the pin, but Sandow made a timely distraction causing Kidd to go after him. With Kidd distracted, Rhodes came from behind and hit the Alabama Slam on the floor and rolled Kidd back in for the pin.

Randy Orton def Alberto Del Rio
Orton finally pulled out a win, but he did nothing to earn it. At the beginning of the match, Del Rio accidentally knocked the ref out. While Orton and Del Rio went at it, Antonio Cesaro made his way to ringside. Cesaro watched the match for about a minute with Del Rio having complete control, but Cesaro struck when Del Rio least expected it and hit him with the Neutralizer allowing Orton to steal the pin.

      Kane def Big Show
Kane still angry over Daniel Bryan's betrayal wanted a fight with someone as big and bad as him. He got that in the form of The Big Show. It was brawl with haymakers being thrown, but Kane caught Show with a Sidewalk Slam and finished him off with a Chokeslam.

      Daniel Bryan def The Undertaker
The biggest win of Daniel Bryan's career, bar none. Bryan after turning on his partner Kane, was forced to go 1-on-1 with Kane's brother, The Undertaker. Bryan at an obvious size disadvantage, had to strike fast and get out of dodge. It worked until the Deadman stopped him in his tracks with a Backbody Drop. The beating was on for Bryan, who persevered and came back with a Missile Dropkick and a top rope Elbow Drop. Bryan hit his kicks to Taker's chest and locked in the Guillotine Choke. But Bryan hadn't done enough damage to get the submission and Undertaker regained control. As Taker continued to break Bryan's body down, Bryan surprised him with his comeback sequence and once again locked in the Guillotine Choke, but again he couldn't submit the Phenom. Taker hit Bryan with a punch, but countered with an eye rake and rolled Taker up for the surprising pin.

No Changes to the Over the Limit Card.

Makes for a really interesting read in my opinion, what with all the new tag teams, gimmick flips (Brodus/Santino) and fresh NXT talent (even Sakamoto and Ricardo, haha). Seeing guys like Darren Young rising to the top tells me you have some crazy stuff going on, and I'm wondering whether you were in control of how that all came about.

Cheers man, I'm excited to see you get going with it.
Thanks. I've put in too much effort. Fortunately there are some SPECTACULAR CAW-creators out there that have done a bang-up job of creating pretty much everyone currently in NXT.

I actually watch most matches (CPU-CPU) unless I see a scenario where I HAVE to intervene to prevent someone just being annihilated in momentum (or becoming a momentum God). A lot of my time is spent balancing stats around this.

I'm definitely going to post cards soon.

To begin the night, WWE Champion The Rock and his long-time nemesis John Cena were set to do battle in a singles match. Cena debuted new music which seemed to match his new attitude, as he has been shunning the WWE Universe as of late. After the bell rang, The Rock inadvertently clotheslined the referee, and suddenly, Triple H ran to the ring and delivered a devestating Pedigree to the Great One. Cena took advantage and went for the pin, and picked up the win as Triple H looked on.

John Cena def. WWE Champion The Rock via pinfall

New fan-favorite Kurt Angle offered an open-challenge to any superstar in the back. To his dismay, he heard the heart-stopping words of the Shield's entrance music, and out came Roman Reigns. In a relatively back-and-forth match, Angle moved out of the way of a devestating spear and delivered a perfect Angle Slam, which picked him up the victory.

Women's Champion Trish Stratus, who made her shocking return to the WWE last year, was set to face off against rising Diva AJ Lee. AJ attacked Trish with multiple hurricanranas, and dominated the match all-throughout. After only getting a one-count after a vicious roundhouse kick, AJ hit a beautiful reverse DDT to shock the Women's Champion.

AJ Lee def. Women's Champion Trish Stratus via pinfall

Former WWE Champion and self-proclaimed Best In The World CM Punk challenged the legendary Ric Flair to a one-on-one match last week, and he got his wish granted tonight. Punk came out as determined as ever to his old entrance music, This Fire. After Flair's entrance, John Cena made his way to the ring and sat near the announce table. However, Punk was largely undistracted and dominated the Nature Boy from the get-go. However, Naitch countered Punk's signature knee in the corner and hit a vicious clothesline. This just seemed to enrage Punk even further, as he relentlessly assaulted Flair, targeting his spine. At one point, Punk put Flair in the classic Camel Clutch, but the Nature Boy was barely able to reach the ropes. Afterwards, Punk kept on targeting the back of Flair, perhaps with the intention to seriously injure the Dirtiest Player in the Game. The plan backfired, as the Nature Boy rolled up Punk in a small package and stole the victory. Afterwards, Flair offered Punk a handshake, which Punk reluctantly accepted, as Cena looked on.

The main event for tonight is a number 1 contender's match for the Dudleys' Tag Team titles between Team Hell No! and The Shield (Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose).

            To be continued...

              I like it, ty.

My Universe will resume some time this week (I've just gotten WWE All-Stars, lots of fun), and it will pick up a lot next week because I'm off Tuesday and have half-days on Wed/Thurs.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

                  Raw is War

                  4 Weeks till Survivor Series

Well we had some great matches at Unforgiven new champs were crowned and the Main event was one of the best in history.
Speaking of Champions what a shock to see Mankind take the title of Chris Jericho I am surprised the former Champ is not here to make excuses yet especially considering how Mankind won. Scotty 2 Hotty makes his return tonight after injury tonight who before had made a apparent alliance with Chris Benoit who is facing Shane tonight.
Well to add for tonight we have The World Tag team Championship on the line. Also a number one contenders match for the Intercontinental Championship involving the former champion Paul White, HHH and 'The Worlds Most Dangerous Man' Ken Shamrock. Also New Intercontinental Champion Owen harts gets a chance of some revenge against Kane tonight in the Main Event who has attacked him on multiple occasions in the past month". Now wait don't tell me, looks who's here it the Champ!.

Mankinds Music plays....the Crowd Cheer he enters and says "well isn't this great to be finally holding this title I have waited years for this and finally I have it". "I have had dreams about this and what a better way to take it from the resident bigmouth Chris Jericho". Then Undertakers Music plays and he stands at the ramp he says " How about tonight we see how worthy you are of that belt in fact if I am not mistaken you cheated me out of the title" Undertakers looking pissed of as ever he says "you screwed me everyone knows you had your feet on the ropes, Reply is shown on screen I was the one supposed to be champion". Mankind says "OK! how about this you and me in a match now Taker! and I will beat you here as well!". The Undertaker walks slowly to the ring.

                  Non Title Match

                  (C)Mankind vs Undertaker

Former Champion Chris Jericho interferes Liontames Mankind and also puts Undertaker in the Walls of Jericho causing DQ

Y2J slides out of the ring and "says nobody! will be getting the title before me Nobody!" and walks off.

                  Normal Tag

                  (C) The Acolytes (Bradshaw and Farooq) vs New Age Outlaws (Billy and Road Dogg)
Awesome tag action in this rematch from Breakdown (Where NAO last lost their titles) the victors ends up being The New Age Outlaws taking their gold back.

Winners and New World Tag Team Champions New Age Outlaws!

                  #1 Contenders Match
                  Triple Threat

HHH vs Paul White vs Ken Shamrock
Looks like for whatever reason HHH and Bigshow have deal going on since HHH returned last week once again double teaming this time Ken Shamrock. Then Bigshow turns on HHH and Chokeslams him for a kick out on the pin attempt. HHH looks less then pleased with this action but then Ken and Bigshow start double teaming him. Then Ken pins HHH and before Bigshow can break the pin he wins.

Winner and New Number one Contender Ken Shamrock

Shane McMahon Vs Chris Benoit w/Scotty 2 Hotty

While Kane walks down the ramp Owen runs out of the ring to attack him.
They fight outside for awhile before going back in the ring. They perform multiple DDTs on each other. Kanes foot stomps Owen then throws him out of the ring to put him through the barricade. Then enters the ring hoping to win by countout but Owen recovers by 7 count and enters back in. They carry on fighting till Owen super kicks Kane for him to break the pin then piledrives Kane to Win.

                  Winner Owen Hart

Team Hell No was poised to defeat the Shield to earn Number 1 Contendership for the tag titles, but apparently, Daniel Bryan was a little less than committed. Midway through the match, Kane reached to tag in the No Man, but Bryan walked out and went to the back! Kane then went on to suffer a vicious beating by the Shield as the Reclaimers of Justice earned their right to face the Dudleys for the Tag Titles.

Starting a universe beginning on January 1, 1998. All wrestlers used were in their respective companies at the time; only exception is Brian Pillman, who I retained despite him dying in real life in 1997. I have three companies- WWF, WCW, and ECW. WWF has Raw is War (Tues) and Saturday Night Shotgun, WCW - Monday Night Nitro and Thunder (Thursday), and ECW is on Wednesdays.

                        Championships
WWF- WWF Title, Intercontinental, European, Light heavyweight, Tag Team
WCW - World Heavyweight, United States, TV, Cruiserweight, Tag Team
ECW - ECW Title, TV, Tag Team

Updates will be given on the Pay Per Views; if an interactive scene occurs or tag teams break up/form, this will be noted.

                              nxt.png

The NXT roster is preparing for the first Pay-Per-View of the season in Vengeance. NXT Champion Jack Swagger is off for the night as the main event finds a Number 1 Contender for his Championship on Sunday.

Opening the night was a great, fast-paced triple threat match between Damien Sandow, David Otunga, and Jinder Mahal. Sandow popped in-and-out of the ring while Otunga and Mahal beat the hell out of each other, and he took advantage. Once both Otunga and Mahal were winded, Sandow finally began attacking and hit both of them with his patented Terminus, as he easily picked up the victory with the pin on Jinder.

Damien Sandow def. David Otunga and Jinder Mahal (Triple Threat) via pinfall

The second match of the night featured the debut of a Monster and successful TNA wrestler, Abyss. Abyss squared off against one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, Jey Uso, and Jey was hardly able to even get any offense against the Monster. Following a devastating powerbomb, Abyss hit Uso with the unforgiving Black Hole Slam to pick up the 3-count. A very impressive debut from the Monster Abyss.

Abyss def. Jey Uso via pinfall

While the NXT Tag Team Champions had a bit of an off night, the other 2 top teams of NXT had a great tag team match. High-flyer Justin Gabriel and the savvy Brad Maddox decided to form a team a few months ago and they've never turned back. In the other corner, the 3-Man Band was without Jinder Mahal, who competed in the triple threat match to begin the show. In a back-and-forth tag team match that saw Justin Gabriel drive Drew McIntyre through the ringside barricade, the Misfits picked up the victory following a skull-crushing DDT by Brad Maddox to Heath Slater. The Misfits gain momentum leading into their championship match against the Usos on Sunday.

The Misfits def. 3MB via pinfall

Rising star Antonio Cesaro was set to square off against Jimmy Uso when suddenly, Hunico made his NXT debut and attacked both men, leaving them battered in the ring with the match ending in a no-contest. Jimmy seems to have his hands full with the Misfits, so will Cesaro meet Hunico at Vengeance? Time will tell.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Jimmy Uso (No Contest)

The final match of the night featured 3 of the best that NXT had to offer, so it was fitting that the match would decide who would meet Jack Swagger at Vengeance in a battle for the NXT World Title. Val Venis, already the European Champion, seemingly made an alliance with the hulking Brodus Clay, as they set their sights on the mighty Ryback. The only time Venis and Clay attacked each other was when the other was attempting a pin on Ryback. However, Ryback was able to get the advantage as he hit both men across the skull with a steel chair. Ryback then followed this up with a Meat Hook Clothesline to Clay, and a Shell Shock to the European Champion. Venis kicked out after 2, though, as Clay was able to make the save. This opened up the opportunity for Brodus to hit a bone-crushing splash on Ryback to pick up the win. The Funkasaurus will go on to Vengeance in hopes to claim the NXT World Title from the Real American, Jack Swagger.
