Idea for future add-ons or "attitude" modes

I was thinking a great idea for add-ons or attitude era style modes would be each individual year of wrestling starting with 1985 (first Wrestlemania).

Basically, you would be able to play through that full years big matches, and ppvs.

I think it would be really cool to eventually play through all the mid 80's and 90's, reliving matches such with the MegaPowers (Hulk and Macho), and matches like Razor v Shawn in the first ladder match and Wrestlemania X.

    What do you guys think?

Story mode is your friend. There is no way THQ would ever get enough people in the game to make that happen. Best bet is downloading CAW's and writing or downloading stories for those years.

This beings and ends with a WWF VS WCW mode if u ask me. TOTALLY re-do the invasion without having all the things that bogged down the real-life angle. We've seen THQ come up with some pretty decent original storylines in past installments... why not redo the invasion, except rather than it being a stable that happened to be called WCW within the WWE... have actual invasions of each-other flag-ship shows and PPVs, title stealings, wrestlers jumping ship, etc etc all leading up to the Ultimate PPV where we have matches like Goldberg V Austin (with proper build), Crow Sting v 1998 Undertaker, DX V the NWO, etc etc... It still kills me we never got a game that explored this potential

I think the next logical step is individual career retrospectives, or possibly dual career retrospectives with two superstars with parallel career arcs.

Examples: Shawn Michaels and Undertaker / Bret Hart, Steve Austin and The Rock, John Cena and Randy Orton / CM Punk, and so on.

The thing I will continue to ask for, and will probably never get back, is Be A GM.

I sucked at it because I got bored of the limited amount of 'Storylines' you could run, but I just loved the rating wars each week with Smackdown, Raw and ECW.

Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.
