One of the best endings I have ever seen on Raw.....
Wow Foley just left in silence and I am stunned. I think Orton took a big step tonight, and I thank Foley for letting him go the extra step of spitting on him to truely disrespect him. Wow too bad Raw won't be on next week because this is the beginning of a great story line. And how about HBK he looked excellent as well as everyone but that fool Heidenrhick(sp?) I hope he is cut soon. Wow all I can say is wow from the Faces pumping Mick up to the walk of shame in silence I give this show a 9/10.... more than makes up for last night crappy PPV.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: One of the best endings I have ever seen on Raw.....
Between the Foley ending, Foley giving Michaels the title shot, and the continuation of the Jericho/Trish angle, I am loving Raw right now. If they could only get better wrestling...some quick notes:
- I am glad Mark Henry didn't get in that match for long, but for some reason Matt Hardy and Booker don't mesh. Mark Henry is the crowd killer, and I think his presence alone killed this match.
- Did anyone smile when you heard Goldberg was 'deactivated' for 30 days?
- The 3 on 2 match was long, had some nice spots and a good ending, but dragged on for what seemed like forever. Batista is still really green, and while he has potential, he is the weak link in every match he is in for the time being. Thank the lord for Shawn Michaels and, dare I say it, HHH. I hate HHH like the rest of you, but I will let you in on a little secret. I counted 3 times HHH saved that match, and I don't mean saved as in for Evolution. I mean saved it from breaking down into the biggest cluster F this year.
- The Jericho/Trish angle is working slowly. I have seen some complaints on the boards about how slow it is. Welcome to Correct Booking 101. First lesson: Don't rush angles. If Trish had forgiven Jericho tonight after his quasi-face turn there would be no intrest in the feud anymore. Now, Jericho is the guy who is torn between the woman he cares for and his best friend. Christian plays a great 'jaded best friend', and I am glad Christian didn't hit any big offense on Jericho after the Kane match. The other thing that is making this feud for me: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. It's like Jim Ross is the little voice in Trish's head, and Lawler is the voice in Jericho's head. It really helps split the casual audience on whether Jericho is sincere this go round.
- Foley is God. Yes, it is a cliche line. But come on, the man took a MAJOR character blow for the company, then lets Orton go the extra mile to get over. Kudos to the writing team for making the fans wonder 'What the hell just happened', especially since everyone watching though Foley was going to take Orton's arse to school after the spit. Side note: Nice slip in of the 'over-pushed and green' description of Randy Orton, setting up Bichoff's rumor later in the show. Continuity is where it's at in WWE storylines, and we normally never have that.
MVP (s) of Raw 12/15/03: Foley (for being the company man and showing the boys backstage what it means), HHH (for reasons most of this country will never know)
Goat (s) of Raw 12/15/03: Batista (green shows way too much in the ring right now), Mark Henry (being an MFer myself, Mark Henry is the first sign of the Apocalypse for Mattitude) -

Re: One of the best endings I have ever seen on Raw.....
man what I am pissed about though seems to be the hate for the ending of the show by all the stupid marks running around on the boards. Once again I thought the ending was perfect for building up characthers. Stupid marks just piss me off because they are like ahh this is so gay ahhh, and talking about how Foley lost respect they are all so stupid. I have read the guys in the back liked the ending as well as most of the critics that run the site so thats a good sign.... I think people might actually come to like the ending of Raw after they have time to cool down and realize what a great show and ending it was. I also noticed the JR/Lawler I hate Jericho/He is just in love thing they had working. Too bad next week is a re cap show because I think the shpw has picked up great momentum and hopefully we might see a HBK title win 2 weeks from now. As for HHH this was the best I have seen him in forever as he was fast moving and working hard. I loved that move he did in the corner on RVD with the knee to knee thing. Hmm well its time for bed so I am outta here.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: One of the best endings I have ever seen on Raw.....
I was shocked by the ending, so it did something right, IMO. I also am tired of HHH like the rest of you, but Millenium is right, he's got talent and saved that match, but I think we've just had too much of him with the title lately. He needs to change direction a bitNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: One of the best endings I have ever seen on Raw.....
Change of direction is a bit of an understatement. I may be the only one, but I didn't think he looked that good last night. He hasn't in a while. But, then again, it could just be my annoyance with him that is blinding me.
No way he was going to be pinned by anyone but Micheals.
I can't wait for the HBK vs. HHH match, but I'm already reserving some of my excitement because of the "NWO" ending that is sure to happen.
Here's to hoping the WWE does something right and shocks us with the ending of that match as well.Comment

Re: One of the best endings I have ever seen on Raw.....
am i the only one that thinks that the HHH vs. HBK match will be nuked because Foley set it up and it now no longer "authorized" to do such a thing? nothing was signed etc....and you know Bischoff likes nothing more than to excercise his authority, and i can also see HHH easily crying to get out of this match....guess we shall see
also, im in the minority here that hated the ending last night.....i waited through the whole show (rather than play some Links online lol) for THAT?!?!? im not crying foul or saying Foley lost respect blah blah blah......i was just looking forward to a MATCH, not some fat guy wandering through a backstage area for 5 minutes....just my two cents, im not trying to aggravate anyone...peaceComment
