I'm guessing they will always attack who is fighting Punk but will always have a "reason" why they did it, but eventually holes will form in their stories.

When these guys find that perfect balance between heel and face, they reach major "over" mode... For example, DB is the perfect tweener. He acts like a heel, but he's def not a heel. Stone cold and punk have also had those moments where they are walking that tightrope, and fans love it.
