Does editing attires before a match......
affect the cutscenes/feuds? I read in one thread someone said it didn't. I figured I would start editing them before each match, and things have really slowed down it seems. I don't know if I'm just in between feuds or this is messing with stuff? Anyone with input?Tags: None -
Re: Does editing attires before a match......
I thought I seen somewhere around here that editing anything with the card will stop cut scenes. I can't confirm or deny it, but as you've said, you've stopped editing and they've come back.--

Re: Does editing attires before a match......
If you play a match that has a built in storyline (I.E. "Tonight's Highlight Match" or a match that doesn't allow interference - also a storyline match) you never even get the option to change attires.
If you are editing a match, then I don't believe changing attires will change your chance of getting cutscenes. Edited matches still can get cut scenes, they just don't have the built in storylines.Comment

Does it still state "Tonight's Highlight Match" in 13? Don't recall seeing it.Comment

Re: Does editing attires before a match......
There are 2 ways to tell if a match is a storyline match.
One way is that the match will say "Tonight's Highlight Match", but it won't say that every time.
The other way to find out is to highlight the match on the match card. If you do not have the option to Interfere, then it is a storyline match (also check to make sure there isn't a stipulation - a stipulation I.E.: cage match, falls count anywhere, etc... won't allow for interference either). If you have any questions about whether the match is storyline or not, just launch it. From the match menu, select the Match Creator. If it is a storyline match, a message will pop up informing you that editing the match will end the feud. After you select "OK" to this message, you can back out of the menu without affecting the match, as long as you didn't edit anything.
If you have the option to interfere, it is not a storyline match, there won't necessarily be a cut scene attached to it, and you can edit it as much as you want. Cut scenes may or may not happen in these matches - the odds are against them happening, but they can happen. It just likely won't be an ongoing storyline.
So if you have a match that allows for interference, then changing the ring attire will do nothing to your chances of getting a cut scene. I have gotten cut scenes when changing attire.
If you have a match that is a story match, and play it as is, you won't even have the option to change attire.Comment
