I have said on numerous occasions that the WWE doesn't need to end the PG era to be great again. I'm starting to rethink that.

Last break I took from Raw was around 03-05. If hockey can keep my interest, it may be for the best to take some time off soon. I already don't watch Smackdown.

I've never liked Cena, but I remember that promo and even I enjoyed it. I would gladly trade this putrid joke of a John Cena for that one. Hell at the very least at least the WWE title belt wouldn't be completely out of place and stupid at that point.

I know it's from the same segment but Punks "the thing about a dream is that you have to wake up from it" comment was really cool to me

I enjoyed the show. Ending was silly and disappointing but I enjoyed the show none the less.

I agree, but I also don't think the WWE has the characters it had back in the attitude era.

You have to think this is it, ADR is much better as a face but still feels like a transitional champ.

Yeah I firmly believe if they ever want it to be great again they need to ditch the PG, don't have to go as over the top as the Attitude Era was but PG really limits them.

I don't see what was so wrong with the show outside of the ending.

Anyone have a GIF of Sergio Romo and his security guard who looked like he wanted to be anywhere but at Raw lol.

I'm already there. Even with Rock back, this **** is seriously disappointing. Not putting it all on Punk, but I'm seriously not a fan of long title reigns, even tuned out during Cena's long reign, and week after week of long Punk promo about holding the title for 400+ days has seriously gotten old.

Rock being a shadow of his former self on the mic doesn't help matters either. **** it, let Horswoggle win the belt just for ****s and giggles.

Yeah, I think where they were before the whole Benoit thing is where they should be going back to. No need to go all HLA again, but the content when they had Edge, Eddie, Benoit, Rey, Angle and Chavo (the Smackdown Six) that's where they should be looking to go. It wasn't as outrageous as the Attitude Era and the days of '97-'01 but it's certainly better than what PG has made them become.

Crowd loved the show, other than the ending. That was ****ing awesome. I'm watching it on TV right now. Something that was obvious is them turning the mics down when Dolph came out. He got a nice pop when he came out. I don't know whether the chants were on the broadcast, I didn't watch the match. The graduation was amazing.

Rhodes and Sandow came out after the graduation was taking off the air. Got thrown out of the ring.

The ticket was such a hilarious stupid idea, nobody cared though. The Rock just has way too much presence in the ring. Shield got mad heat for the beatdown. During the break The Rock got up after a while and spoke about how he'll still win the championship, despite this setback. And yes he was still selling the beatdown quite well.

Del Rio is amazing as a face. We ate it up. annnnnndddd I just noticed that you guys didn't see ADR supporting the Niners on Raw Active. But still, he was awesome. He came out at the end of Raw and beat up on Big Show, after Big Show and Barrett were beaten by Cena and Sheamus after the show.

I didn't think the counting would be on TV. Awesome as well.

By the way, the brawl sucked. People would just get out and get back in, and eventually people were getting out of the ring for no reason.

Yea, what they need are characters period. Your top guys don't necessarily need them or need anything new, but mid-carders need something to make them interesting and watchable. Going back to through 97 and 98 over December, I'd see a guy like Miguel Perez, Jr. on TV WEEKLY. Some of you probably have never heard of him. He never won a title and never did anything on his own. Being a member of a faction is a powerful thing. Perfect example today: 3MB. Without it, Mahal and McIntyre would not have seen the light of day in ages probably. Hell, McIntyre had hardly been seen prior to that group.

When you have a one or two dozen individuals, even with 5 hours, you aren't going to have enough time for them all when you have 5-10 guys they shove down our throats because people want to see them. When you start getting characters and stables, now there is time for something to happen. The problem is, you need decent writers to usually give a reason for a group to form. You can't usually just throw a few people together and form a group for no reason. Come to think of it... how did 3MB form?

Well it turned out with the Nation- Farooq, D-Lo Brown, Chuck Palumbo and Savio Vega seems pretty random.
