I guess we should cut Cole a break, though. He's only been calling these PPVs for like 15 years.
Two minutes into a match hes yelling "And the new champi....oh 2 count!" "And his career is ove...near fall!" Lol shut the **** up Cole. And his knowledge of the moves themselves seems to be dissipating. The German throw? The Cross STF? Comon man.

Watching my 9 year old girl, and 7 & 6 year old boys explode with joy when Cena won made it all worth it. The 7 year old especially because Cena is his favorite, hell he's still on cloud nine, smiling all over himself. Luckily he's off from school tomorrow, the other two.... long morning for my wife and I LOL especially since my girl's favorites(Ryback & Ziggler) and youngest boy's(Sheamus) both lost. Overall I'm happy about the purchase, it was my very first PPV buy and although the matches were pretty predictable, it was fun.

This. I'll probably take an extended break regardless of tomorrow's RAW, but I'll give them tomorrow, to see where they go with everything - if the feuds don't get furthered or if RAW is the same as it's been for about 2 months now, I'll definitely be out.

Reading the recaps, no divas? Not that I care, just surprised they didn't feature them.

Extreme Rules has been the real WrestleMania for a couple years now, and post-RAW has been very good as well so they might get you. But I'm done either way.

With how watered down the product is the WWE would prefer to show nothing but ads, then Taker, Cena and send us packing.

I have to say, as much as I hated the new redesign of the WWE Title, it's really starting to grow on me. I'm curious to see what Cena does to change the side plates.

                          Disappointing show for me.

Punk-Taker was very good. But didn't live up the Taker matches from the past five years(I'm including Taker-Edge in that).

Rock-Cena was better than expected, but still not great.

HHH-Brock was blah. I thought the finish had potential with the false taps, but didn't live up to the billing.

The rest of the show was full of ten minutes matches that weren't bad, but weren't good either.

And the booking throughout was highly predictable.

The PG Era doesn't bother me. But the cookie cutter booking does. 98% of these shows are so predictable. I don't see a point of ordering PPVs if I know what's going to happen as soon as the match is booked.

I used to order every WWE PPV, now I'm debating if I even want to watch Raw tomorrow night. I'm sure no one here cares, but my patience with the product is slipping fast. If they want to book for a target audiences of 8-12 year olds, I guess I should probably move on :/

So was this Wrestlemania or was it basically a glorified 4 hour version of Raw?

It wasn't a horrible WM don't get me wrong, but other than Punk/Taker(which compared to Taker's previous WM matches, I wouldn't put it in the Top 5 and I'd have to think real hard about putting it in the Top 10)most of the night, I was just counting down the minutes to 11 so it could go off.

                              Re: WrestleMania 29 - (4/7/13)

Tonight makes it clearer than ever though. Cena is never going heel. Which makes it even more annoying that the writers suck so much. This story writes itself since turning him heel is out of the question apparently. You have Cena win tonight, he gets up he and Rock exchange their words in the ring as they did. They do the hug and then have Rock lay him out with a Rock Bottom. Obviously this is where Cole and crew sell it like the worst thing possible and question Rock's actions. Rock walks out smirking after his cheap shot. From there you could get real creative with two possible scenarios.

First scenario you end the night with Cena recovering and looking back towards the entrance confused, upset and looking for answers. The next night on Raw you have Rock come out to explain his attack on Cena after the match. Rock goes full blown Hollywood at that point. Talk about how he didn't even care about the title and he only lost because he was tired of dragging the title along with him in Hollywood. Eventually you have Cena come out to confront him and it get's physical. Just as Cena starts to get the upper hand, Rock bails from the ring saying he doesn't need this garbage he's going back to Hollywood. From there CM Punk comes out while Cena is still out in the ring. Punk mentions that since Dwayne doesn't want any part of Cena, he'll gladly step in the ring to reclaim what's rightfully his. Now, this way if Rock isn't committed to work Extreme Rules you have Cena and Punk going at it for the title and you could put the inevitable Rock/Cena 3 on the backburner until SummerSlam. Every few weeks you could have Rock do some video promo taunting Cena from Hollywood or trash talking him some way and eventually uses his rematch clause at SummerSlam.

Other scenario, which I prefer as I think it works out better. Starts same as the other. Rock drops Cena with the Rock Bottom tonight, maybe an added People's Elbow. He walks out with that Hollywood Rock smirk and as he leaves, Dolph Ziggler's music hits. Ziggler comes down, cashes in the Money in the Bank on Cena, new WWE Champion. Next night on Raw Cena's pissed and looking for both Rock and Ziggler. Moreso Rock however. Rock cuts his Hollywood promo same as the other scenario and talks about how Cena is beneath him and he's headed back to Hollywood where guys like Cena carry his bags through the airport. Now you give Dolph something to do at ER as Cena uses his rematch clause there and you still save Rock/Cena 3 for Summerslam as now Rock' s video promos that you have him cut every few weeks are taunting Cena about costing him his WWE title in record time.

EDIT: Forgot to add that you address Ziggler being able to cash in on Cena that Vickie had used her position as GM of both Raw and Smackdown at the time to get Dolph a contract for either title in his briefcase without anyone but her or Dolph knowing about it.
