I actually wonder if they realize that demand this year is down so they raised the price so they can sell less and still trumpet it as being the highest grossing Wrestlemania ever.

Well, usually when something has less demand, prices go down.

I could see them trying to do that though.

For a while my SD and HD broadcasts were the same price (Comcast in Chicago) - they switched either last year or the year before...but was pretty nice.

Even so, WrestleMania is the only show I order, so I justify it that way.

(Though I also just bought a $70 ticket for Payback, so I guess WWE wins in the end.)

Wrestling has seen demand go down the past decade while prices have increased.
