I was thinking about buying this used, but there's no way I will if freezing is this bad.

Freezing Question
So I've Redboxed this for the 2nd time now, and both times I've had major, major freezing issues. Now I've read all over the forums that other people have also, but I'm wondering if a lot of people are experiencing it during the Attitude Era? I'm wondering if it's happening a lot because my disc is decently scratched.

Re: Freezing Question
I only have two instances where my game freezes.
1) Universe mode, edit a match on a card, use created/downloaded (community, not DLC) wrestlers in a created/downloaded arena. Seems pretty common on PS3.
2) Marathon gaming. I played for around 3 hours once, and my whole system froze.
I'd say a decently scratched disc could do it. I've had 6 CAWs in one match, and yeah it took longer to load but it didn't freeze.Comment

Re: Freezing Question
It happened so often for me that I restarted 2 universes. That seems a little harsh looking back. What I'm doing now is if it creates a problem then I go out side the universe and run the match, then adjust accordingly.
It ALWAYS happens in my universe when I'm using a CAW - Impact Arena, no matter if I use wrestlers in the game or CAWs.
I shouldn't say it freezes, because the music continues to play on a rotation and I can hit the PS3 button and bring up the menu icons for the PS3 system, so the system isn't frozen (which is a good thing), but I lose patience after about 5 minutes and turn the game off and restart. Which isn't a good solution either because this game takes forever to load.
I keep track of all my wrestlers on an (evil laugh) spreadsheet."A two count is routine. You kick out at two if you aren’t done. Kicking out at one is a MESSAGE. It says NO in capital letters. A middle finger. A promise that the other man is going to have to kill you if they’re going to put you down." ~ Brandon StroudComment
