Speculating which WM matches 2K will include

It's pretty cool that 2K got Hogan and Warrior for this mode. (This will definitely make up for the half-hearted effort put into LOW) But how far can WWE and 2K go to get some of the names who haven't been involved with the company in awhile and have had some of WM's best matches? Let's run down a quick list:

-Kurt Angle: still in TNA, not likely (yes, I know Hogan's in TNA too, but how many times can WWE make lightning strike in the same place?)

-Hardys & Dudleys: 3/4 of them are in TNA and Matt's still working through his issues last I checked, so sadly the odds of the TLC matches being there are slim to none.

-Owen Hart & Chris Benoit: No chance in hell for either of them since Owen's widow and WWE aren't budging on their respective stances about them.

-Scott Hall & Jake Roberts: Possible since both are light years ahead of where they were this time last year, let alone the last time they worked with WWE. Hall's got the ladder match, but Jake really wasn't in too many memorable Mania matches.

-Any matches with celebrities (Mr. T, Mayweather, LT): Not very likely since 2K and WWE would have to pay separate likeness rights to each person. That and Mr. T hasn't seen eye-to-eye with WWE in a LONG time.

-Anyone in the Hall Of Fame: Hogan was really the only one with a major hurdle to overcome, so I would imagine anyone who's in the HOF who has had a memorable WM match has a good shot of making it.

Any other thoughts or speculations?

I would like to see The British Bulldogs vs The Dream Team (Valentine & Beefcake) from WM 2 for the tag titles. I always remember their long running feud that came to a head at WM 2 with the Bulldogs taking the titles. Since Hogan is in the game maybe they could have the Hogan vs Bundy cage match from WM2 as well. Not a classic I know but still memorable expecially the buildup to the match.

Not really, that match was horrible. Jake's most memorable Wrestlemania match (although it really wasn't very memorable) was probably vs. Honky Tonk Man at WMIII, who I'd love to have included in the game.

IF YOU COULD CHOOSE ONE MATCH FROM EACH WRESTLEMANIA TO BE IN A GAME, WHICH ONES WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

WrestleMania 1 - Hulk Hogan & Mr. T vs Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorff

WrestleMania 2 - British Bulldogs (British Bulldog & Dynamite Kid) vs Dream Team (Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake)

WrestleMania 3 - Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage

WrestleMania 4 - Randy Savage vs Ted DiBiase

WrestleMania 5 - Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage

WrestleMania 6 - Ultimate Warrior vs Hulk Hogan

WrestleMania 7 - Ultimate Warrior vs Randy Savage

WrestleMania 8 - Bret Hart vs Roddy Piper or Randy Savage vs Ric Flair. I would imagine that both could be in the game.

WrestleMania 9 - maybe Lex Luger vs Mr. Perfect, just to have Mr. Perfect in the game. or Tatanka vs Shawn Michaels

WrestleMania 10 - Owen Hart vs Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon. HBK vs Razor in the ladder match is certainly more likely to be in the game.

WrestleMania 11 - Diesel vs Shawn Michaels

WrestleMania 12 - Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart

WrestleMania 13 - Bret Hart vs Steve Austin

WrestleMania 14 - considering Kane vs Undertaker and Austin vs Michaels were both in WWE '13, I would rather see Owen Hart vs Triple H

WrestleMania 15 - again, a majority of the best matches from this one were in WWE '13, but still, The Rock vs Steve Austin was really good, so I wouldn't mind it being in WWE 2K14

WrestleMania 16 (2000) - Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho vs Kurt Angle (which will never be in a WWE game), and the other option would be Edge & Christian vs Dudley Boyz vs Hardy Boyz in a ladder match, but that's just as unlikely.

WrestleMania 17 - Hardy Boyz vs Edge & Christian vs Dudley Boyz, but again, that would be highly unlikely. Steve Austin vs The Rock would be great, as well. I just want this arena in the game, so I'll take any of the matches.

WrestleMania 18 - Undertaker vs Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan vs The Rock

WrestleMania 19 - Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels or Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle

WrestleMania 20 - Chris Benoit vs Triple H vs Shawn Michaels, but we all know that would never be in the game, so I'd love to see Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle in there, but that's almost as unlikely. So, maybe Evolution (Orton, Flair, Batista) vs The Rock & Mick Foley

WrestleMania 21 - Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels or Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero

WrestleMania 22 - Edge vs Mick Foley or Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle vs Randy Orton

WrestleMania 23 - John Cena vs Shawn Michaels or Undertaker vs Batista

WrestleMania 24 - Shawn Michaels vs Ric Flair

Ive never actually watched the whole thing from start to finish without fast forwarding. I kinda got out of watching wrestling between WM8 and 13, so I missed it live.

WrestleMania 14 - New Age Outlaws vs. Mankind and Terry Funk in the dumpster match.

WrestleMania 15 - Shane McMahon vs X-Pac. I want to play as Shane-O-Mac

WrestleMania 16 (2000) - Edge & Christian vs Dudley Boyz vs Hardy Boyz triple threat ladder match.

WrestleMania 17 - Shane vs. Vince street fight, so I can play as Vince.

WrestleMania 18 - Hulk Hogan vs The Rock

WrestleMania 19 - Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle

WrestleMania 20 - Chris Benoit vs Triple H vs Shawn Michaels

I don't know how Legend Contracts work, so I don't know if the WWE can use some (Sid Vicious, Roddy Piper etc), and I don't know if the WWE can just use people that are in the Hall of Fame without a contract (Yokozuna, Mr. Perfect etc).

I personally don't think 45 matches is enough for this mode, but hey.. there's other modes that need time, too.

Someone asked Scott Hall on his twitter with the new mode announced whether we will see him included in the roster...he replied saying he was asked not to comment.



So it seems that chances are likely that he'll be included.

If he is then we will definitely see Razor Ramon vs Shawn Michaels and even Scott Hall vs Stone Cold.

Stone Cold vs Bret Hart is a given for the mode as well.

I'm more excited about the wrestlers this mode will bring into the game than the mode itself. Can't believe we will finally have decent NWO entrances

Hopefully they'll have Psycho Sid, Jake Roberts, Goldberg.

Kevin Nash will be there as well so we'll get Diesel vs Shawn.

The only CAW's I can think off we probably will need to download is Kurt, Hardy's and Dudley's.

All of these have brilliant caws for wwe 13 so we'll be sorted.

Assuming that Nash is in and hopefully Razor, hopefully those two will have nWo alternate attires. That would be awesome. I would love to have Rude and Mr Perfect as well.

That is exactly what I am hoping. this game should have the ability to have more than just one attire.
