    Re: Wrestlemania 20 Thread

I'm still not a fan of Undertaker's recent matches, but I also marked out like a little girl for Paul Bearer. I didn't think they'd bring him out, and that was just a blast from the past. Taker needs to let the hair grow longer, and I'd rather have seen his old look, not just bikerdeadman with a cowboy hat

you guys need to give his return some time. when he changed from deadman to the biker taker he slowly changed. i think as his hair continues to grow his look will change. it was awesome seeing Paul back with taker and i cant wait to see what happens next!

yup, in time his look will change. but he still should have worn his old attire or something like it. if an average fan turns that on they will think just by looking at him that hes the american bad *** taker.

                  Re: Wrestlemania 20 Thread

Well, just got back from NYC after a GREAT live Wrestlemania. Here are some thoughts:

-I hear some guys saying the crowd was dead. It may have come off that way on TV, but the crowd was hot all night long.

-Brock vs. Goldberg was the low point of the night for the crowd. From singing 'Na na na na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye' to BOTH wrestlers, chanting 'Stun Them Both', then having a Hulk Hogan impersonator running around getting the crowd to chant 'Hogan', the match was crap. Boring chants in the first 5 minutes, as well.

-Taker entrance was the loudest pop by far, then we all saw his face. He still got pops, and a 'Tombstone' chant after the chokeslam. Last pop was for rolling the eyes post-match, but I got the feeling that the live crowd was dissapointed with the 'school boy' hair cut.

-Most of the crowd took a bathroom break during the Smackdown Tag title match and the Cruiserweight open (mine came during the Playboy match).

-When Benoit won, the place was electric. The whole main event was fantastic, altough I think it was shadowed quality wise by Angle-Guerrero (which has to be one of the most inventive finishes boot-wise AND Guerrero hooking the ropes PURPOSELY) that I have seen.

-Being a Jericho fan I allowed myself to actually become emotionally connected to the Trish angle, and for once in a LONG while I was stunned and hurt when Trish swerved him. I actually had myself convinced that they would end up together, which is a great thing for someone 'in the know'.

-Regarding MSG: This is the single most awesome venue I have ever seen ANY event, sporting or otherwise, in. Every seat faces the stage, nicely cushioned, and seats are lowered enough that you can see in front of you with no obstructions. Take that in addition to the legacy of the building, and I was in awe.

                  More later, I must sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
