Potential Mostly Blank Roster Screen

One thing that I think has most of us worried is the rumor that "Most of 2k14's Roster is 30 Years of Wrestlemania Wrestlers".

It seems real, but there's obviously no way to verify it, but apparently someone grabbed a picture of the 'Character Select Screen'.



I can count 92 slots, but that's not including Managers (which has it's own tab at the bottom right), Downloadable Content (second in from the bottom right) and what looks like Customer Superstars (bottom right).

As I said in the other thread, though, the rumor that most of the roster is 30 Years of Wrestlemania can be confirmed to be false because some of those superstars are also regular roster members as well (The Rock, Cena, Del Rio etc).

I hope this is legit, but 90 spots seems like an insanely large amount of wrestlers to include, even if some have more than one

I don't think it's really much. Every year, I'm sure they want to outdo the previous one (at least we hope they think that). Last year, there were what, 105 including DLC.

Looks like they might be including Divas in the regular roster. Unless they took them out entirely. I'm also wondering how many duplicates will there be when it's all said and done.

I'm not worried about the roster. Anyone who gets decent TV time will be in the game. The only major people I'm guessing won't be in the game are newcomers like the Wyatts & RVD. Maybe they'll be added as DLC down the road though.

Honestly I might be alone on this but I hope they add more divas to the roster this year

In my opinion, there's only a few divas I'd like to see in the game.

Trish, Lita(who is a manager), Beth Phoenix, and if we can get Jazz in, that'd be fine.

I think RVD has a decent chance to get in the 30 years of WM mode, he might make it vs Regal or maybe in an MITB?

If RVD had debuted earlier in the year he would have made the main roster for sure but I'd say there's 0% chance either of those matches were even considered for the 30 years of WM mode.

The Regal match isn't beating out Austin/Hall, Rock/Hogan, Flair/Taker & HHH/Jericho to get a spot from WM 18.

Plus the MITB match would require Finlay, Matt Hardy, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin to be in the game.

If the wwe were in negotiations with RVD earlier in the year, there's a chance 2K had the knowledge and had already planned on DLC for him.

I'd be lying if I said I never unforcefully played a divas match in a WWE game before. If you're a guy and never played a bra and panties match in the games before, well than.. I've got something to tell you.

This was the same way the screen looked last year. They only had a few guys available for event demo purposes. I would assume its the same this year. I doubt they actually removed a bunch of wrestlers.

Well assuming some of those are the non-Wrestlemania guys on the roster, they would have had to remove wrestlers that were in the game last year since not all the guys last year are in the wrestlemania mode.

Or maybe I misunderstood what you meant in from the beginning.

I just looked it up and there were 84 characters on disc including divas for wwe 13. There were 21 DLC characters.

This could be legit then, because its slightly more than what was on disc last year.
