Okay, another thing that's wrong with this era. We need a Jim Ross figure YELLING at Heyman and Axel for what they are doing. The commentators give off a feeling of boredom by just saying "That's enough" and stuff like that. They could build these guys up much higher if they had the same passion as Jim Ross when someone is getting destroyed.

I'm all for Cole bashing, but I actually disagree on this. I loved the near silence. The segment itself tells a powerful enough story, JR yelling over it wouldn't have helped anything. Might have made it feel less brutal, honestly.

Punk/Axel have a match. If Punk wins he gets to confront Heyman in the ring. Punk wins, Axel interrupts before he can get his hands on Heyman, handcuffs Punk, they beat the bejeezus out of him with a kendo stick while Heyman is shouting things like "I LOVED YOU!" at Punk.

It just... it was all sorts of great. Find it and watch it at some point after the show.
