    Attribute edits (collaboration?)

Does anyone want to start planning attribute edits for us all to use? We could do it in a Google Doc for all to see. I did it last year by myself and it didn't take too long, but this year with my classes it is going to be tough to do by myself. If anyone is interested, we could start planning in here and then assign wrestlers to whoever wants to help. Going from WWE 13, at least in my opinion, it was needed to have slider and attribute edits to even have a chance at losing a match. I would like to go after a challenging game, where depending on the opponent, the user might have a tough time winning a match - but also the game should play close to real WWE programming (Undertaker shouldn't be losing to Jinder Mahal, etc).

I don't want this to be some kind of crazy philosophy/statistical formula, (saw one of those last year and it made my head spin). All I did last year was go off how they were performing on TV. It was pretty simple and a lot of people liked how the game played after the attribute/slider edits.

Anyways, if a few people want in on this then let me know and I will get it all set up and we can start planning. Hopefully we can get it all done before the game launches.

I wouldn't mind helping you out.

I know what you're saying about the complicated way Attributes were edited this year, but it was 100% necessary to have the game play like a real patch. I have a Google Doc for WWE 13 right now that I'm basing off of Ronyell's Edits and I'll be honest.. I have no idea what he did and I still want to talk to him about it.. but the way he edited the Attributes, it was by far the best way to play a game.

If you want to, send me a message and we'll figure out a way to talk (Skype, AIM, Facebook whatever).

We (myself and another person) plan to do something for 2k14. We started working on the base attributes.

First thing we need to do, is make sure all the attributes work. Otherwise, it's pointless. I would love to be able to lower a "jobbers" ratings so he loses about 99% of the matches, but still has his "agility". But this years game skewed that.

I can run tests when the game comes out.

Sure am. I love "booking" matches and having the CPU play it out, letting the attributes determine the outcome. Besides, I'm 42 and don't have the reflexes I used to have as a youngster! haha

Bigbob and I are working on a spreadsheet as we speak so the next stage is testing when the game comes out. We're basing everything right now on 13 and trying to workaround it's shortcomings. Bigbob is testing some things for User vs CPU and its comig out pretty well.

Steven after you test you, bigbob and I can create a sheet on our spreadsheet for CPU vs CPU only.
