Week 2 - February 2014
Michael Cole "Welcome to Friday Night Smackdown! Coming to you live from the Georgia Dome, I'm Michael Cole along side my partner, JBL! We've got a big show for you guys tonight with WWE Diva's Champion AJ Lee taking on Natalya, and the recently returning John Morrison takes on Mark Henry! Hopefully Mark Henry is okay after the beating that Batista put on him this past Monday Night Raw."
JBL "Of course he's okay, Michael. He's the 'World's Strongest Man!"
Michael Cole "Batista is an animal in his own right, John.. but coming up first, the Prime Time Players take on Los Matadores!

Michael Cole "The Prime Time Players have to be close to getting a tag-team title shot! Titus O'Neil gets it done in the ring after hitting the Clash of Titus on Diego!"
JBL "I give him all the grief in the world, but one day, Titus O'Neil will be a champion in the WWE."
A quick cut to the back, we see Renee Young standing in the back.
Renee Young "Ladies and Gentleman, Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd."
Justin Gabriel "We'll make this short for the WWE Universe. We've been so happy with the love and support we've been given from the fans for the past year and that's why we've decided that we will be leaving Smackdown and joining Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff on Saturday Nights.."
Tyson Kidd "The fans have said they wanted to see more of us, but they haven't gotten it.. so we've decided to make this decision to give the fans more of us."
They would both walk away as we cut to commercial.

JBL "She may have an agruement as being the greatest Divas in WWE History!"
Michael Cole "I'm sure Lita, Trish Stratus and the late Fabulous Moolah may have something to say about that.. but coming up next, the C.O.O of the WWE has just informed us that he has a huge announcement!.. after the commercial!"

Edge "Thank you, Hunter. I just couldn't stay away from the WWE, or the WWE Universe for that matter. I decided to contact Hunter a month ago and expressed interest in being able to run my own show, and he thought it would be a great idea for me to be the full-time General Manager of Smackdown! As the first order of business, I want to announce the match coming up next.. it will be the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton taking on a surprise opponent that I feel has shown the WWE officials in the back a lot of promise, and could be a future champion.."
Edge and Hunter shake hands and both leave the ring.
Michael Cole "I wonder who that surprise opponent could be. Edge being named General Manager was surprise enough!"
JBL "Well, the sure weren't talking about you, Michael."
Following a short break showing a few Raw recaps, Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring. He taunts off to the crowd before getting irritated that his opponent is unnamed and not out here yet. As he goes to grab a microphone, the music hits.

Randy Orton

Sami Zayn
JBL "I knew this kid would make it up here eventually! He had one of the best matches I've ever seen against Antonio Cesaro on NXT in a best out of three falls match!"
Sami Zayn would make his way down to the ring as the crowd went crazy. Randy Orton wouldn't give him a chance to get going with the crowd as he attacked him as soon as he entered the ring. After the referee finally split them apart and called for the bell, Orton would attempt to end it early by going for a huge punt. Zayn would roll out of the way and quickly hit a huge big boot while Orton was turning around near the corner. Both men would go down while trying to regain their composure. It was a fairly even match in which at the end, Orton began setting up for the RKO. Just as Zayn started standing up, music hits.

Wade Barrett "Ladies and Gentleman, I've got some good news, and I've got some bad news. The good news is, I'm here. The bad news is, well.. the bad news is for you Orton."
Wade Barrett would turn around and walk to the back as Orton just kind of stood their with a confused look on his face. As he turns around, Zayn would catch him off guard and pull out a huge brainbuster to Orton and picking up the win. After the match, Zayn would celebrate with JBL by the announcer table as Orton came to and was noticably furious as the show went to break.

Big E Langston would come out and land the Big Ending to Mark Henry and allow John Morrison to pick up the easy win.
JBL "That's robbery! That's robbery! Big E Langston should be fired!"
Michael Cole "Mark Henry should have known he had this coming! He turned his back on his partner, and now his partner is making sure that Henry remembers how big of a mistake he made was! Good night folks!"
