Re: Guys who need a push

Barrett - Can be the guy as a heel
    Cesaro - See above
Clay - Another top heel. Hall of pain esque
Ziggler - Can be the or one of the top faces in the company
    Ambrose - Top heel potential
Reigns - Heel/face? remains to be seen. Deserves a shot.
Slater - Can talk and work

This probably won't be a popular opinion, but guys like Kofi, Gabriel, Kidd, and even Drew just aren't top guy material. Especially with who's already above them. Maybe Drew could be, I'll leave him as a question mark for now. I just think that ship might have sailed.

I agree on most of those. But Drew and Kofi aren't top guy material, but Slater is? I don't think Clay is ever a main event guy either.

I see an it factor in Slater. He's fantastic in the ring and if given the opportunity I think he will get nothing better on the mic.

And like I said, Drew still could be. I wouldn't mind him getting a push.

I agree somewhat on Brodus. The push I mean is similar to Henry or Show. He'll never be THE guy. But can be a guy who feuds with other upper mid carders or ever a top guy here and there. But I don't ever expect him to be WWE World Heavyweight Champ, or whatever the hell they call it.

And Damn, I just realized I left out Sandow. He's amazing on the mic. and pretty good in the ring. I think he can contend to be a top guy with more work.

Re: Guys who need a push

I went with all guys who have yet to win the big one as my criteria as guys like Ziggler, Swagger, Show, etc. have at least had a run.

          1. Dean Ambrose- They've decided it's Roman's time, and while all three are great, Ambrose will be the biggest star of that group if pushed right.

          2. Cody Rhodes- I like where he's at right now working with Golddust but he has main event potential. When there were two titles I thought he was a guaranteed future world champ. I still think he has the talent but will need a bigger push to get there.

          3. Damian Sandow- This guy is the complete package and has a great gimmick. He's a heat magnet and very entertaining. They were on the right path giving him MITB but pulled the rug out from under his push. I'd love to see him given a run. Hell I'd love to see him win the rumble (or advance far) by doing different tricks to "outsmart" his opponents. That alone could be the start of a huge push.

          4. Wade Barrett- In order for this to happen he needs a new gimmick. WWE dropped the ball when Wade was crushed by Cena and 8,000,000 chairs, but we saw his potential as a main event heel.

          5. Kassius Ohno- I just want to see him pushed to the main roster.

What does everyone see in Ambrose? I like Rollins better in the ring and as other have said, Reigns has the look. I like Ambrose, but what do the rest of you see that makes you think he'll be the next big thing?

He's got an unorthodox style that sets him apart, and will do so even more when he's on his own. No one wrestles quite like him. He's fantastic on the mic. His grasp of the psychology of it all is fantastic. To me, he's a mix between CM Punk and Mick Foley. He can be great.

Rollins is very good in the ring. At this point, I see him being in that upper midcard range. Reigns has the look, but more than that, is the massive improvement he's made. He's much better both in the ring and on the mic than when he started.

Re: Guys who need a push

I'm a big fan of Reigns. His spear looks awesome pretty much every time he does it. He needs to be pushed heavy.

Big E -I think he has the potential to be the top face or heel and he can work the mic if given the chance.

Ziggler - I can't say enough about this guy. The pop he got when he cashed should show the creative they need to push him. Sucks he gets so many concussions.

Orton -I really like Orton but if they are going to make him a heel they need to make him like the legend killer days where he wasn't a pansy at every turn. I know he's pushed to the stars but I just want a different push for him.

Titus O'Neil - I enjoy watching his matches and no matter what he's doing he's always entertaining which is what WWE wants.

Bonus - Heels in general. They need to bring back dominant heels. When they changed Ryback I thought that's what they were going to do with him. And then they made him whiny. I miss dominant heels like Kane when he first came to the Wwe.

Ambrose has carried the Shield on the mic. He's already in the upper tier as far as mic skills to me. I think he can be a top heel in the company. He's just got that style.

I'm still not sold on Reigns or Rollins. Reigns specifically, needs a ton more work on the mic. It just seems like he's reading off of a prompter and trying too hard to remember his lines. Way too stiff and unnatural. I just can't buy him as a top guy right now because of that.

evryone has much to say about everyone in The Shield except for my personal fave. Yeah Reigns has "the look", Ambrose is gold on the mic & has a savvy veteran psychology to his promos as well as matches but why does no one put Rollins in there? He has a good look. he is beyond solid in the ring. he is the one member of The Shield that is consistent with his matches. He gets all of the "unscripted" wow moments that only get overshadowed by Reigns' staged moments. He can fly or get technical & has made HUGE strides on the mic.

I love all of the members of The Shield but Rollins is my guy.

it is a TRAVESTY that Cesaro is stuck doing this gimmick thing with Swagger right now just because it gets heat & he should DEFINITELY be getting pushed NOW.

the many times referenced Brodus Clay... pushed as a monster.

                        i'm done.
