I hope you guys get your freeze issues worked out. I guess I'm lucky that I haven't had that happen to me yet. It used to be whenever interference happened in a match of mine it would freeze.

So, for me it was definitely a custom content issue. Full disclosure, I had recently tried the simworld project and hadn't really done too much in terms of match or rivalry editing prior to the patch. I also had a bunch of my own custom content added.

Anyway, I had about 90+ CAWs, all logo slots filled, 5 arenas, and some belts. I started erasing a few custom items at a time and seeing how it went. After a few CAW deletions, I was still freezing. I then deleted some more and the freezing became less frequent. To this point, I've landed at the absolute lowest I was willing to go: I got my CAWs down to 50, logos to 16, and got rid of the custom belts (except for the NXT divas). Didn't delete any arenas.

The game loads much faster in general and I've only had one freeze since and that was after playing for a few hours straight and doing a lot of customization (creating a bunch of rivalries with CAWs, completely editing several matches-including two championships-along with fully editing a PPV card with no issues). The freeze came when trying to set a 1 on 3 handicap match (2 CAWS were included) after that PPV.

While I'm certainly not happy about all the content I had to delete, I'm at least able to play the damn game again. Hopefully it holds up, because I've also reached (if not exceeded) my limit on how much effort I'm willing to put into making this game work.

Mine almost always freezes when I customize a caw tag team match. Sometimes when I customize a caw singles.

It also froze once when I set up a regular tag team outside of the universe.

this is damn stupid as crap...im not about to delete my stuff to be able to not have freezes like you soxfan....I paid 60 for a working game.....2k fix your crap or I wont be getting the next damn game

If I edit ANY match that ISN'T a one-on-one, my game freezes.

Elimination Chamber, Royal Rumble, tag team...can't edit!

I didn't play this game for a month due to vacation. I fire it up two days ago and get back into my universe and I haven't been able to complete anything but one match. It is now freezing at about five to ten minutes into playing no matter what I am doing. Thanks 2K for a patch that has broken my game. I can't believe I fell for the hype train...again! I am more mad at myself because I should know better by now.

I hate to hear about all the freezing you guys are having after the patch. Knock on wood I'm not having hardly any freezing after the patch. Before the patch it was a lot more often for me.

Well, I haven't even started playing Universe yet. I'm still in setup mode. I have about 60 CAW's, 2 arenas, several logos made, some entrances done, movesets tweaked, etc. I do CPU vs. CPU Universe and I'm waiting to get about 20 more wrestlers done before I begin. However, this stuff is making me leary. I downloaded this last patch and the custom music volume is definitely louder which is nice, but I'm running AI vs. AI play now matches with my CAW's and even went into Universe to start trying to customize and then watch various matches. So far, no freezes for me.

I wonder who this affects and at what point of creation that the system bogs down performance because I haven't seen much yet. In a Fatal 4 Way a few weeks ago, I saw two guys tie up in a waistlock and never let go (it was a touching moment). But that's been about it so far, minus some of the little things that ALWAYS annoy me about this series anyway.
