    Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

I'm sure it's been mentioned. But I'm watching the 97 Halloween Havoc PPV and Jericho has his "Break the Walls Down" theme.

What was his theme in WCW that they couldn't use. Or am I having a brain fart and he had that theme in WCW first. I'm about 99.9% sure he didn't. Just wondering why they couldn't use his WCW theme I don't remember having any words so it's not like a big name band refused to release rights.

I know it had the intro of Evenflow. I don't know.

I was watching an event the other day and Booker T had a theme dubbed over his theme in WWE too.

Jericho's WCW theme at that time. There's probably some copyright issue they're trying to avoid.

Copyright issue? Probably the fact that it is a blatant Even Flow ripoff.

They do the same thing with Raven's theme in WCW on the Network. Rather than playing the blatant Come As You Are rip off, they dubbed in his WWE theme.

I'm sure they did the same with DDP and his Smells Like Teen Spirit theme, also.

So according to the Ask WWE Network twitter account, the first episode of Monday Night War won't be avaliable on demand until sometime at the end of the summer so if you missed it last night like I did you are going to have to wait at least a month to watch it.

Sucks but I guess it makes sense given it was advertised as a preview.

that was nuts, Shane O'Mac was one sicko he had no regards for his body.

                    Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

I have the utmost respect for Shane O'Mac for everything he did as an in-ring competitor during his time as an on-screen personality. He went above and beyond what you would expect the son of the owner of the company to do.

And I may be in the minority, but I think he actually turned himself into a solid performer. I know he took some "classes" from some of the talent on the roster, and he really mastered the art of being a scrappy underdog that would do anything to win a match; including putting his body on the line.

His match with Angle was easily his best, in my opinion. But he actually had a decent WRESTLING match with X-Pac at Wrestlemania XV, if I remember right.

I haven't watched all of Shane's matches yet, but I've always thought he was great as a personality and wrestler. Still wish he was involved in the company

Watching that match live, My friends and I thought Shane was going to die or end up with a broken neck when Angle was trying to suplex through the glass and he kept bouncing off.

Even Kurt said he didn't want to keep trying to put Shane through that glass. Shane's head slammed so hard on that concrete after he hit up against the glass the first time.

I give him props for trying to carve out his own career. I read a really good interview with him recently; Vince's legacy is so large that Shane didn't want the burden of trying to live up to that, plus he wasn't all about the wrestling business the way Stephanie is.

I love Shane O Mac because of that exact reason; he wanted to do his own thing and not use the E as his safety net/easy way.
