I had the idea of Rusev and Census feuding for the IC Title as well.

That title really does need to become more relevant. I miss those days.

With no 2nd main event title the IC title has to become bigger then it is. Although it seems to have made progress since Ziggler won, seems to be around more then before.

Yep. I enjoyed it. Goldberg's still pissed about Jericho running that angle with him in 98. That was one of the more entertaining things WCW did at that time and could've drawn some money on PPV, but never materialized because Goldberg refused to work with Jericho (I think that was more of him listening to guys like Hogan and Nash at that time).

I still laugh that Goldberg claims fans wouldn't buy Jericho wrestling Goldberg, and then when he went to WWE, he lost a fight to Jericho backstage.

I was never a Goldberg guy. Him beating Hogan for the belt in WCW in Atlanta was awesome because of the atmosphere, but I never liked the guy.

Hated the streak. And knew he lost by forfeit early to Alex Wright because Mongo beat him up backstage. The only streak I didn't mind was Taker's, and I even wanted that to end. Goldberg's was just ridiculous.

after watching the PPV's of 1997 and all the nitro's, i can see where WCW NWO storyline got old. Every PPV was the NWO adding a member and getting over on either the horseman or Rowdy Piper

yeah the nWo was the greatest thing WCW did and it was their downfall because they had no idea how to manage it. Instead of breaking it up, they formed a second nWo faction and then brought them back together. It got played out - especially when half the roster seemed to be either nWo red or nWo white.

                        Yep.

I was quite looking forward to the Network. Virtually unlimited wrestling for the monthly price of a KFC is really exciting.

The real shame is that they didn't tell us why or how long the delay will be. Here's hoping it's just a technical error.

                          Apparently the reason..

For those unfamiliar, Sky Sports is the carrier of WWE pay-per-view content in The UK. A 2015 contract had already been negotiated upon for the distribution and payment of the WWE PPV’s. It seems Sky Sports has been disputing WWE over the legalities of the Network and its interference on their agreed upon deal. This has been the cause of the numerous delays for the information and launching in the UK stemming back to the original 10/1 launch date.

What is not yet clear is the probable communication breakdown with WWE announcing a launch to happen today, and then at the last minute having to delay it, again, appearing to be caused by Sky Sports.
A source in WWE told us the company could buyout the deal with Sky Sports but it would be a costly hit and potentially not worth it financially considering the Network hasn’t had as much financial success anywhere in the world as originally hoped.
Specifically, the new deal between WWE and BSkyB mandates all WWE PPV events will air on Sky Sports Box Office. Up until this year, 4 pay-per-views would air on Sky Sports at no extra charge for people who have the channel, while the remaining shows were on Sky Box Office at £14.95 per event.

We’re hoping to bring you more information as soon as we get it, but it should be noted that WWE is just as unhappy about the launch delay as the fans are. This is not something WWE just decided to do because the company was unprepared, the impression given to us was Sky Sports got involved and WWE was left unable to launch the Network.

My issue isn't with Sky, or even that WWE had to delay it. It's the fact that we were promised it and then let down.

I'd have rather them not say anything and give it to us as a surprise on the day.

Sky's revenues would be affected with PPVs on the Network, but how about giving us a compromise until that dispute can be worked out? Maybe the equivalent of 5 dollars per month for just the archive footage and original programmes?

Watched Chris Jericho's Monday Night War. Not sure how the episode was going to go down since he came into WWE in the later stages of the War. Not enough of his stuff in WCW in the episode to show why he wanted to leave.

The Rock's episode is dropping tomorrow. Should be a good one.

If Sky keeps being recalcitrant about all this I could see something similar to the Canadian distribution (which is very blech so far) where the OTT model is thrown out and you're given the 24/7 live stream and an On Demand service.

Honestly, I hope that doesn't happen but it seems that'd be the only way to placate Sky Sports so that they'd retain SOME kind of revenue that they'd otherwise lose immediately with the stripping of PPVs.
