Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
No (I don't personally find it boring but have heard this from quite a few folks).
What's funny about this match is that there were people that slipped out of the Anaheim Pond before the match even started. That's crazy to me, why would you leave a WM early? I guess people weren't in the mood for a 60-minute match.Currently Playing:

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The first 20-30 minutes are filled with mostly rest holds with breaks of wrestling in between, obviously pacing themselves for the finish. But even at that, it still told the story of both wrestlers trying to conserve their energy till the end.
It ranks as one of my all time favorite matches ever.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I really don't blame people in Canada for having very little interest in WWE Network. Other than PPV and NXT, nothing else really worth watching on it. Free preview this month and I couldn't be that bothered with it.
I'm recording some stuff(like HOF speeches,WM recaps) cause I like watching those types of stuff during WM season in March, but other than that, nothing else really worth watching on Canadian version of network outside of NXT/PPVs. They've replayed WM12 several times this past weekend lol.
One thing I did see was when they showed Mark Henrys retirement(that counts as WWE honoring Black History month apparently based on how the clip was shown in association with that). It was already a cool moment when it happened, but watching it again for the first time since it happened(and knowing how it ended) is a cool thing to watch. Talk about making a speech seem real/believable! That type of realness/emotion is stuff you rarely ever see in WWE.
Though it's also a cool thing to get to watch stuff from WWE during eras before I started watching WWE. For the video quality itself, cause I've never seen PPVs and other things from 80s and early 90s outside of anything minus youtube videos/other online videos and those qualities aren't anywhere close to the original format quality.Last edited by Majingir; 02-16-2015, 04:28 PM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Definitely I feel that Summerslam 2002 is one of the best all around PPVs there has ever been. Same as WM 17, 18, and 19. That really was just a great, great era of wrestling.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I watched so many PPVs the last five days. I can't say enough that I stopped watching wrestling too soon. 2002-2007/8 was full of all kinds of awesomeness.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Watched the WWE Countdown SD moments one.
No surprise that there wasn't a single moment on the countdown after 2005. Goes to show the quality of SD in the last 10 years.
Funniest parts were Cesaro being like "For corporate reasons, I'm gonna say Team Triple H!" and Summer going on about how she wants a WWE draft to return cause she doesn't know where she'll end up, but will probably end up being the last pick which will make her sad/look bad on tv and everyone will make fun of her so she changes her mind and doesn't want the draftComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I've been watching the Monday Night War series, and the biggest takeaway for me is that WCW/WWF were doing 9 or 10 ratings combined some nights, and now they're lucky to do a 3 on Raw. Scary how much of the wrestling audience WWE has failed to retain.Comment
