    Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

Well I'm an idiot. Still doing my re-watch of all Raws, Nitros, PPVs, etc. just finished Over the Edge '99 and watched the Raw from the next night again. First time I've watched it since it happened live and I'm friggin sad as hell. I miss Owen so much and then to see the guys like Test and Paul Bearer talking about Owen knowing they're gone too now makes it worse.

It is. It's under WWE Network Exclusive, not nxt, because it wasn't an Nxt show; Balor and Owens was the only nxt match on it, and Owens was on the main roster.

That will be AWESOME to watch though truth be told they might need to get the bleeper out. Lesnar seems to have a potty mouth when he's being interviewed.

I can't wait for part 2...I learned a ton from the first part. Because I never really followed WCW back in the day. So I learned a lot about Bischoff and all of the behind the scenes stuff.

I thoroughly enjoyed the interview with Eric Bischoff, I really hope WWE does more of these "shoot" interviews. I'm interested to hear Eric's take on the Bash at the beach 2000 fiasco especially since I heard Russo's BS take.

Edit: Does anyone know the name of the guy who's name Bischoff didn't want to mention?

It was a good watch. Looking forward to part two.

Did he say someone's name when he coughed? Not sure if he was serious or not.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show as well. I had no idea who he didn't want to talk about though. JBL actually did a pretty credible job handling the interview though he opened the door to the whole "spending too much money" narrative and when they talked about how Bischoff cut costs early on. I think JBL should've followed up with something like "Okay, sure you earned the right to spend the money but don't you think you went overboard with the money and power to Hogan and his cronies?" Maybe they'll touch on that in the 2nd part.

Overall, an awesome show and i'd like to see more in this format with JBL doing the interviewing.

I think he definitely says Joe, then mumbles/coughs over the last name.

I'm not a big fan of JBL's announcing, but he was excellent on this interview show the Network has set up for him. Bischoff is usually pretty honest and up-front on a lot of topics and this was no exception.

Looking forward to Part II and future guests on the show.

Small gripe but I found it annoying when JBL referred to some Legends as "sports entertainers". It felt so forced and contrived.

He was saying wrestling earlier in the interview. I'm sure he was discouraged from using that term. Only Austin can get away with that one, I guess.
