And let's not forget the greatness of Monsoon + Heenan on commentary.

Heenan said Animal had a great haircut...if you're going to the chair.

        He was so freaking hilarious.

Lol, so good. To me tho WM8 was their finest hour. Their commentary lifted that event up, and made it better than it was. Pretty much the highest compliment you can give to a wrestling commentary team.

I've considered heading over and watching 8 at some point this week.

There is so much to watch it's hard to pick. I'm up to January 99 on my quest to watch everything from 93 on and of course that's a great stretch so I find self watching 2 or 3 in a row.

I'm about 90% done with the 2000s Raw and toward the end, Triple H was hilarious. Was in tears when he and Angle had their feud and he started questioning Angle's sexuality because he was always with Steph.

Foley as Commish was kinda meh though. Was cool in the beginning but after awhile, I started to get bored by it especially since he wanted to be guest referee in like every match lol

Cannot wait to get to the HHH, Angle, Stephanie (and Trish) angle. I remember so much comedy from that. Also can't wait to get to APA forming and Angle feuding with ABA Taker. I'll gladly appreciate the awesomeness that is Kurt Angle this time around.

Man I remember the APA forming so fondly. That damn doorway and getting pissed at people not knocking and entering through it as opposed to just walking around it. Bradshaw pitching the name to Faarooq lol. "Think about it, Acolyte Protection Agency. Big P, two A's."

For an 18 y/o WWE fan who didn't star watching until around 2005-ish, what are some matches/shows I should go back and watch? Picking up the network soon before the rumble and want to know what to watch. Obviously I'll be watching PPVs, NXT stuff, and that stuff am but what should I go back and watch?

Oh man, there is soooo much great content before 2005. I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Watch it all man. Pick a year and just start watching. For me I like the beginning, so 93.

Some folks prefer starting in the Attitude Era. If you go that route, KOTR 96 is Austin 3:16.

Return of HBK at Summerslam 02 starts his second and arguably better run.

                          Just saw much material.

Randy Savage did not have a good two-year run in the Royal Rumble.

1992 - eliminates himself, but since he wasn't actually booked to be eliminated at that time, Heenan and Monsoon had to scramble to try and explain why he was allowed to re-enter the match.

1993 - hits the elbow drop on Yokozuna and PINS him. Why are you covering someone in a Royal Rumble??? Yoko kicks out and sends Savage over the top rope.
