    Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

    Context for the images below:
-HHH almost trips and falls during one of those "Up Next" backstage walks.
-Hebner/Mr.Hughes messes up in Rock-Jericho match (Hebner counts to 3 before being pulled out of the ring)

And the power went for a minute or two. As soon as lights went out, I thought it was Kane or something(I noticed they had his ring pyros set up, maybe for a post show dark match?), but it was just a normal power outage.

What I noticed here is how much cooler watching a match is when it's just a spotlight on the ring. Really makes you focus more on what's happening in the ring since you can't see anything else.

The first episode of the uploaded Superstars has a Nailz promo and Mean Gene showing that Flair photoshopped his pics with Liz, what a glorious upload.

I am excited to get started... I have not seen anything since 2009ish...

So I was wondering should I just watch ALL PPV events since 2010 until now and depend on the recaps... or is there a specific moment that would be a good place to start?!
Like everyone else said you can just start watching on Sunday and if you want to get a up to speed leading up to Sunday you can just watch the Raw segments they upload on their YouTube channel.

I’m enjoying the crap out of the Superstars upload. I’ve finished up the first two. They talked about “cytexing” those photos. The precursor to photoshop. lol

Watching NWA Word Championship Wrestling in 1986 and my goodness I forgot how good Jim Cornette was on commentary with Tony Schiavone and David Crockett while his Midnight Express were wrestling. Pure Gold

Midnight Express are wrestling two jobbers Phil Brown and Lee Peak acting like these two guys are giving them a tough match. Beautiful Bobby at times backing to the corner acting scared and Dennis grabs a guy after hitting him yelling 'Help! Help!" Cornette says I can't help you Dennis it's against the Rules. Lol

Lee Peak gets in the ring and hits Bobby while he's basically standing in the corner while Cornette on the mic talking about I don't know what to do guys, hope for a time limit draw!

Cornette says the Rock and Roll Express wouldn't offer this much competition and neither would the Road Warriors, then starts talking about Dusty Rhodes and Magnum T.A. Americas team couldn't hang this long either all the time sounding like Dusty Rhodes then starts talking about his perfect 10 Baby Doll.

He goes on another rant saying the Midnight Express needs tough competition and he's talking about this team Lee Peak and Phil Whats his face.

They were all so good back then

Good comedic commentary is so underrated in wrestling. It makes everything so much more entertaining.

Imagine if New Day did commentary for an entire Smackdown, for example. There's no way that wouldn't be good.

They don't seem to want commentary like that unfortunately. Seems like their job is just to read the script and say what people in their ear tell them.

New day can do anyones job better lol. Even when they had Kofi being the backstage interviewer, he made it way funnier and entertaining than anyone else.

Man, they should upload WWF Challenge eventually too. I always liked it better, especially with prime Monsoon/Heenan. Watched the first ep from 1992 on YouTube, leading up to the RR that year.

                    Funniest bits from the show:
[spoiler]Monsoon: And remember he won that award by a vote from his peers.
Heenan: you said he won it on a pier?
Monsoon: no he did not win it on the pier ... huh, what a journalist. What an insult to journalism
Heenan: you're too hard on yourself.

                    .....

Monsoon: and on the off chance someone who doesn't deserve the belt somehow wins the Rumble, we know he won't hang on to it long.
Heenan: Yeah, like Virgil. It'll take a great man to beat him, but it won't take him long.
                    Monsoon: will you stop.

                    ......

*shot of an attractive woman in the crowd*
Heenan: look at her, is she eyeing Mr. Wippleman or what?
                    Monsoon: Huh!

                    .....

Heenan: you know Bossman is so quick, he can pull you over, write the ticket, take your 20 bucks and be back out before the next red light
                    Monsoon: what 20 bucks??
Heenan: he's on the take you know, he'll do anything for money!
                    Monsoon: he is not!

                    .....

Monsoon: and all those long hard roads lead to the Royal Rumble
Heenan: speaking of long roads, check out that kisser on McGuirk

                    ......

Heenan: you know Ted Dibiase told me he was going to buy up Tito Santana's neighborhood, tear it down and build a slum
Monsoon: why, so Sherri will have somewhere to live
Heenan: Huh! I'm gonna tell her you said that.

What a WWE24 tease. Starts off showing end of WM. Lesnar goes to the back, throws title at McMahon and walks away.
