The Steiners vs Money Inc cage match is worth a watch. The rest I just skipped over, though I might watch Shawn Michaels vs Bob Backlund just because I don't remember those two ever wrestling otherwise.

I always forget/find it funny Duane Gill was a superstar BEFORE the Gillberg days. Basically 2 diff stints before turning into Gillberg.

You're being pretty generous with the word "superstar" here.

I don't mean he's a top guy, but they do call all the "wrestlers" superstars.

That's because they only had one other single TV match. It was on a European tour in April of '93 and it aired on Canal + a TV station based outta France. So I doubt the show ever ran on TV in the US.

Of course. You had Hogan somehow winning the strap at WM in Vegas, evil Doink, camera exploding in Hogan's face at King of the ring, Raw in the Manhatten Center, the Lex Express, TWO Taker vs Giant Gonzalez matches on PPV, Bastion Booger, the insane Bushwhackers/M.O.M vs Bigelow/Booger/Headshrinkers Survivor Series match, Rock N Roll Express had a PPV match, etc. It's the most pro wrestling year they ever had lol.

The finish to the cage match was inventive and dope.

Lawler’s feud with Brett, 1-2-3 Kid beating Razor. Razor turning face to compete against Money Inc. I’m currently in 93 in my watch through

The Kid/Razor thing was HUGE. And then they had the rematch where Kid just ate **** on the cement floor off the top.

                                Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

Speaking of McMahon Helmsley era, I heard a Bruce Pritchard podcast about their relationship and the storyline.

Interesting note about the story. The endgame was never HHH and Steph ending up together. Story only happened because DX rejected Test story where he'd be the new Diesel and join DX. So Russo wanted him to go over and pushed a Test and Steph story. The end was supposed to be Test leaving Steph at the wedding and becoming the top heel. Vince McMahon hated the story so much and didn't care for Test and he/HHH came up with new ending where HHH marries Steph, and Test gets shafted (led to believe for months the story ends with him being a big heel, to just buried). Vince wanted HHH to cut his hair too earlier in his career.

Interesting stories about their relationship too, and what parts of Chynas recollection was true and what might have been exaggerated(Steph was Chynas biggest supporter backstage, and Vince did offer Chyna a big new deal, but obviously that awkwardness of your ex and boss hooking up would be too much for anyone). Also, funny wedding story (spoiler, Michael Hayes is a crazy drunk).
