Yeah it wasn’t the best looking finish but from what I remember he always moved super slow as part of his character the first few years. I like how he got out of the ring and picked up the urn after it fell off the ring and I was not expecting to see him get suplexed the way he did by the Bulldog. I was thoroughly sports entertained

In more important news, WWE added more of the WCW Saturday Night library. Now have a majority of 1993.
      NFL- Green Bay Packers
      NCAA- Florida State Seminoles
      NHL- Carolina Hurricanes

Now they just need to fill in the gap from mid 89 to early 92 where they don’t have any WCW weekly programming. I need as much Dangerous Alliance as possible

Decided to cancel my subscription to the Network after 5 1/2 years. I never watch it or the product in general anymore. Was pretty much wasting $10.59 every month for quite some time.

I wish they had a tier just for people who care about the older content. I would pay $5 a month for just a single continuous stream of pre 2005 PPVs, TV shows, documentaries, etc. Then you could check their guide to see what was playing. Like an actual TV channel.

The downside of "on demand" for me is you have too many options. Sounds weird, but that's how it is for me. I'm never gonna go in and watch a random Raw from 1996 on my own.

I feel that way about all shows. I'm rarely gonna choose to watch a random episode from s3 of Friends if I'm watching on demand. If it pops up on TV, I'll watch whatever is on and maybe channel flip to one of the 3 other channels airing Friends reruns. But if it's on demand, you kind of want to watch in order.

As for the tiered stuff, it's definitely coming. Not sure when, but I remember reading about wwe sending out surveys.

IIRC, they had tiers like 1 for just the PPVs, 1 for on demand and no PPV, 1 for on demand and the big PPVs, and 1 for everything.

Yeah, I'm kinda the same way. Along these lines, I liked when the Network first launched and they had more variety on the live feed. I'd pop it on and it'd sometimes be in the middle of some random Raw; and since I'd be catching it in the middle I'd usually go find it on demand to see the full show and then end up watching a few more.

They must have data showing that nobody was watching the live feed outside of PPVs though, because there's no other reason for it to be as repetitive as it's gotten.

That Hogan/Piper match had such crazy heat. Unfortunately the network version won't have Hogan coming out to "Eye of the Tiger," which hurts a lot.

Smh, that live feed was awesome. Would just turn it on before going to school in the morning.

Skimmed the show earlier, and just to confirm the obvious...yeah, it's Real Americaning all over MSG.

On the plus side for the show, they have post match stuff broken down into milestones which gives us this perfectly 80's description.

I was a Day 1 subscriber and cancelled my sub a year ago. I don't miss it all that much, as I just don't care for the current product and watched enough retro shows to satisfy me.

I really enjoyed going through all the SNME's and TNT shows, but after that, it was difficult figuring out what to watch, too many options for me. I tried watching RAW from the very beginning, but lost interest a couple of months in.

Clearly they read this thread and pulled it so they can get the rights to "Eye of the Tiger."

Also, CM Punk is coming back any day now.

Should probably do this more often. Crazy how it's taken me 1.5 years to watch 1 year of programming

SD kicks off in a cool way. Every single superstar sitting in the back while HHH/Steph officially introduce the McMahon-Helmsley era.
